My battery kept dying every 6-12 months for the past 8 years! Every time I took it to the dealer or to other mechanics, they ran diagnostics tests and told me nothing was wrong, even though I knew something was definitely wrong. We found out that MANY other Nissan Armada owners AND Infiniti QX80 owners have been dealing with the exact same thing. They showed us how to cut a wire, that would bypass

On 03/29/2026 at approximately 11:00 AM, I was driving my 2024 Polestar 2 southbound on [XXX] near [XXX] in the center lane at approximately 80 mph in heavy traffic. Without any prior warning — no vibration, no TPMS alert, no unusual noise, no warning lamps or messages of any kind — the left rear tire suffered a catastrophic tread/belt separation. The tire is a Continental original equipmen
... t tire, size 245/40R20, with ContiSilent acoustic foam lining and POL1 Polestar-specific markings. DOT number: [XXX] , manufactured week 17 of 2023 at Continental's [XXX] plant. The tire was factory-installed original equipment and had never been removed or remounted. The entire center tread band delaminated from the tire carcass in a single explosive event. I heard a loud bang and immediately lost control of the vehicle. The rear end spun out and the vehicle crossed two lanes of heavy high-speed highway traffic before coming to rest on the shoulder. CHP responded to the scene and filed a report. I was not struck by any other vehicle. No injuries. No vehicle body damage. However the failure created an extreme risk of death or serious injury to myself and to other motorists in adjacent lanes at highway speed. The failed tire is preserved at the authorized Polestar dealership and is available for inspection upon request. Photographic documentation exists showing textbook belt edge separation: the shoulder tread remains attached on both sides while the entire center section has cleanly separated from the carcass, exposing the inner liner and ContiSilent polyurethane foam layer. The rim is undamaged. The left front tire is from the same production run [XXX] , manufactured one week earlier at the same Hannover plant), making it a sister tire that may carry the same manufacturing defect. 1. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Driver assist systems, including lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance/braking system, and related exterior sensor systems, are malfunctioning. The lane assist system has taken unintended control of steering, and the braking system has activated without cause. Yes, the vehicle is availa
... ble for inspection upon request. 2. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The vehicle has exhibited unintended braking and steering intervention during normal driving conditions. Most recently, the lane assist system abruptly jerked the steering wheel while passing a side road opening, forcing the vehicle into a curb and causing damage. These unpredictable actions create a high risk of collision, loss of vehicle control, or being struck by other vehicles, especially in active traffic conditions. 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? The vehicle was brought to the dealership for inspection; however, the issues were not reproduced during testing. Testing occurred under dry weather conditions, while the malfunctions primarily occur in wet, cold, snowy, or icy conditions. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The vehicle has been inspected by an authorized Genesis dealership service department. Genesis Consumer Affairs has been notified and is aware of the reported issues. No other third-party inspections have been performed at this time. 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? There have been intermittent warning messages & dashboard indicator lights related to driver assist and system functionality. These warnings have appeared inconsistently and not always at the time of the malfunction. The problems began after 30K mi and returning to NY.Read more

Incident date: Mar 28, 2026
While driving at highway speeds, I needed to accelerate hard in order to pass another vehicle and while accelerating there was a downshift and increase in RPM. After passing, the RPM remained high even after I took foot off accelerator and it seemed the transmission did not shift back out of lower gear, keeping the car traveling at a high rate of speed, endangering myself and other traffic. Apply
... ing the brakes would not cause the engine to slow down and the engine kept working hard and traveling fast, causing strain on the brakes to slow down. I pulled over and initially shifted to neutral, but the engine was still revving high (4000 rpm observed). Then I placed the car in park which did not change the high RPM. Then I shut off engine and let it rest. Then I turned auto back on and all was normal. The problem has not yet been reported to dealer but will occur in coming days. I own a 2020 Kia Niro PHEV. In October 2024, my dealership performed Technical Service Bulletin SA512 on my vehicle addressing the inverter coolant system. I was not informed at that time that the issue was likely to recur or that periodic maintenance would be required. In March 2026, the inverter coolant warning light returned. I brought the vehicle back to the dealership, where I was told the co
... olant had crystallized. The dealer confirmed this is a known recurring issue with this vehicle and stated it would need to be flushed approximately every two years since we drive relatively low miles per year (despite driving every day). I was not warned of this at any point. Furthermore, many owners likely drive it short distances every day since it is a plug-in electric vehicle. Kia denied goodwill coverage and I paid out of pocket for the repair. When I contacted Kia Customer Care, representatives gave conflicting information. One confirmed SA512 was performed as a service campaign, another stated it was only a TSB and declined coverage since my car is out of warranty (even though the warranty should still cover the battery and this is an electrical issue). A total case specialist I was assigned to said she would talk to the dealer and call me back but never did. The inverter cooling system is safety-relevant as it prevents the battery from overheating. The problem was confirmed and repaired by the dealership. The component is no longer available for inspection as the repair has been completed. Kia's issuance of SA512 suggests this is a known design issue affecting multiple owners of this model, and they informed the dealership that they could not cover the cost because if they did so, they would have to cover everyone with the same problem (again implying that the issue is quite widespread.)Read more

Vehicle Information 2021 Ford F-150 PowerBoost VIN: [XXX] Complaint Description While driving approximately 70 mph on a highway, my 2021 Ford F-150 PowerBoost suddenly displayed a “Stop Safely Now” message and immediately lost propulsion. This incident created a serious safety hazard, as I was traveling at highway speed and could have been rear-ended due to the sudden loss of power and inability to move the vehicle. This issue appears to match Ford Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 23-2317, which describes “Stop Safely Now” warnings, no-start conditions, and gateway module (GWM) software faults. This indicates a known defect that can cause sudden loss of propulsion. A claim has already been opened with Ford Motor Company under case number [XXX], and the vehicle is currently at a Ford dealership for diagnosis. At this time, the issue has not been resolved. Subject: Safety Complaint – Premature Frame Failure on 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor (VIN: [XXX] ) To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting a formal safety complaint regarding my 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor, VIN: [XXX] , with approximately 99,700 miles. My vehicle has been diagnosed by a Ford-authorized service department with severe frame corrosion and structural deterioration, including extensive rust a
... nd compromised integrity. In addition, I have obtained an independent evaluation from a private body shop, which also confirmed that the corrosion is premature and structurally significant. I have been advised that the vehicle is unsafe to operate, and the estimated repair cost is approximately $30,000, effectively rendering the vehicle unusable. This condition appears to be premature and not consistent with normal wear and tear, particularly given that the vehicle has been properly maintained and used under normal driving conditions. The failure of a vehicle’s frame represents a serious safety hazard, as it directly affects crashworthiness, structural stability, and safe operation. A failure at this level could lead to loss of control or catastrophic injury. I contacted Ford Motor Company to request assistance, but they declined to provide any support or remedy. Given the severity of this issue, I respectfully request that the NHTSA: •Investigate potential frame corrosion or structural defects in this vehicle model •Determine whether similar complaints have been reported •Evaluate whether this issue warrants a recall or manufacturer action I am prepared to provide supporting documentation, including inspection reports from both the Ford dealership and independent body shop, repair estimates, and photographs of the damage.
