Vehicle keeps giving codes not even a month after purchased that say key missing check for key. Then another that says key not found put key in center console left cupholder. This has happened multiple times already and the dealership supposedly said the first time it was a programming issue and needed to be reprogramed. They did that and the vehicle did the same thing. Errors for low battery s
... ervice battery pop up. Along with service keyless start system. When the key not found error or key missing error comes on the vehicle does not start. I have been stranded when this happens because it does not recognize the key therefore the truck wont start at all and has to be towed. The codes usually pop up first then the vehicle does not start. I took it in because I started getting the codes again and again after the vehicle was releasd to me it again did the same. Happened a 3rd time and after several attempts of starting the truck after getting stranded again the 4th time it happened was at the actual dealership when i prayed it would start to get me there. The service write disconnected the batter to clear the codes so he can start it to move the vehicle because it was in his way. Now im being asked by the dealership that the engineers want to know what I am plugging into the vehicle to make it interfere w the vehicle not starting. I filed a claim w gm to have the vehicle swapped out but the dealership has not returned their emails. There was damage like if someone backed into me that thr dealership said knocked off sensors and was causing it to go out of whack. I paid to have everythjng repaired which was told would resolve the issue and a few days after repaired happened again. I was told it was failing all tests. But because the bay the vehicle was on was needed they reset the codes again and now the engineer cannot get the truck to fail.Read more

The door latch mechanisms are all faulty. I have read in many forums where this is a common issue with Hyundai models. The door latch on the back passenger door will not operate from inside or outside. The other three doors must be pulled on repeatedly in order to gain access. I was driving my 2017 Ford Explorer on 10/14/22 and the engine started shaking aggressively randomly. So, I took it to our local Mechanic shop . They said that from the engine shaking, it had broken the engine mounts, and it had an internal problem. I had paid $200 to fix the engine mount. So, they had a service bulletin and said Ford should fix it for free because it’s a known problem. They ha
... d provided me with the service bulletin 22-2287. My husband took the copy of the bulletin to ford, and brought the car. Explained that it already had other recalls on it that needed to be fixed and showed him the service bulletin. He asked if it would be covered and the guy said “It should be”. Then, we proceed to get a call the next day that it’s not covered because it hasn’t “officially” been recalled and it would be$4200 to fix. Even though the engine is going to ruin the parts in a few years because it’s the engine causing the other parts to overheat. So, I told them I wanted to get a second opinon, and they charged me “diagnostic fee” of $213.76, even tho they told my husband the diagnostic fee if it wasn’t covered would be $80. So, after months of fighting ford to make things right,I had the car towed to a local transmission shop , and had them repair it for 4,655.. I go to pick it up, and it’s still shaking. So bring it back, and they fix it again, Well, it’ still not fixed. Then, they fix it again, and I pick it up, the transmission isn’t running correctly.I have been without a working car since 10/14/22. So, now they are fixing it again and putting another brand new transmission in. Ford needs to be held responsible. This is a known issue, and could lead to someone getting into a terrible accident when the engine falls through the car, and could kill someone. The engine itself it heating up other components of the car, and ruining it. As of today, 02/27/2025 the transmission is starting to have problems again! I am writing to express my concern about a critical issue I have been experiencing with my 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4WD. If there is a recall or warranty coverage that I can take advantage of, I would appreciate detailed information on how to proceed. I would also like to know the steps that I can take to resolve this issue in a timely manner. They replaced the fusebox and the entire AC s

Then the starter went out at the same time. After that was fixed a week later all the lights in my dash came on and there were no safety features running in the vehicle. I reach out to Subaru and I was told this was all normal wear and tear in the vehicle and it just happens. A melted fuse box and safely features just randomly dying on a 4.5 year old car goes deeper than that. ... rear door handle that failed the pull test as administered by Nuts and Volts Automotive using the prescribed tool on [XXX]. Cost to replace will be $150 for NFC front door handles and $100 for the right rear, vs Liquidating trustee / American Lease is providing $100 for NFC door handle and $80 for others (right rear in my case). The tool was not available when the pump was changed. Problem - door handles being provided by American Lease (as designated by the liquidating trustee) are the original design and left over inventory. The newly produced better design handles are still in England with the manufacturer Chevalier. We need these door handles!! The recall for the ADAS alerts (cluster telltales) # 24V405 (campaign TSB70062404) - has not fully resolved the nuisance cluster telltale alerts. The OTA team needs to be more precise with the updates and not leave some of the numerous electronic modules partially updated. Some incomplete updates cause owners cars to malfunction or stop responding (BRICK). INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

Pedestrian Warning Sounds Gone I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. Following an attempted OTA software update for the safety recall, I have noticed that the pedestrian alert noises are missing, which poses a significant safety risk not only for those around the car but also for the
... occupants inside the vehicle. This situation is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the vehicle’s safety features. Moreover, it has come to my attention that a concerning number of owners have reported their vehicles as undrivable following OTA updates, with 2%-5% of vehicles experiencing such issues weekly. The current 48-hour update window renders my car unusable, and now I require another session, an additional 48 hours to complete the update only adds to my frustration. Based on owner surveys, it appears that complete updates, including the correct sounds, have been successfully implemented in less than 30% of vehicles attempted. Given these concerns, I urge you to look into the situation with my vehicle and the entire process. I should not have to pay out of pocket for the safety recall and restored function of pedestrian alert noises, nor the cost of a rental car. Thank you for your attention to this critical matter.Read more
