I was driving at a steady 65mph on a highway when the car suddenly surged and the message "1 pedal driving deactivated. Use brakes to stop." I stopped the car with the brakes and restarted it and reactivated 1 pedal driving. Note I was NOT using regenerative braking at the time. The car surged a few miles an hour, and in a heavy traffic scenario could have easily caused a crash.

The first few times my car has broke down, the steering wheel locked up and forced itself all the way to the left on its own causing me to hit a curb and median. Manual control over the steering wheel was not possible. Luckily with this occurring both times I was going a slow speed. The other two times I had full control of the wheel but my engine would stop and the engine stopped message would appear on my dash screen. An almost $10K repair and Ford Motor Co only covered $3800 of it. This is unacceptable, dangerous, and quite frankly irresponsible of Ford. I called the Ford Customer Service three times, each of which, they referred me back to the local dealer (who referred me back to the Ford Motor Co case). Some quick background. I'm a very loyal Ford customer. I've owned 3 F150s, an Expedition, and a Ford Fusion. I get all of my services done at the local Ford dealership. I've never had a transmission go out and especially on such a new truck. ** I rarely tow, so this hasn't been a truck that has been towing a lot of weight (I've towed 4 times with a trailer < 4000 lbs). Customers shouldn't have to pay over $5K for repairs on a truck less than 5 years old that cost over $70K (and 4K miles beyond the Powertrain warranty). That's ridiculous. Ford should step up and do the right thing and recall these transmissions for the customers experiencing problems. I now know of 6 personal people (in a small town) that has the same issue and the dealership is full of trucks with the same transmission problems.Read more

The paint on the roof of my 2013 Toyota Rav4 has begun to peel (delaminate). I first noticed it in May 2025. More recently, in June, while driving I saw in my rearview mirror what was clearly a chunk of white paint fall off the blowing from the top of my vehicle behind me - which is poses a safety hazard on the road. Areas of the roof where the paint has peeled are beginning to rust and compromise the integrity of the body. I contacted Toyota twice recently regarding my case (#250701000710) which is considered closed. Two representatives said they were sorry I was having this issue but advised that I would have to go to a dealer and take care of it myself. Please be aware that there was a prior/known paint peeling issue that affected cars in blizzard/pearl white (which my car is). They offered what was called a "goodwill service" at the time under which they only paid to repaint any areas of the car that were already peeling at the time. The body of my car had many large areas of peeled paint that were repainted. However, the "goodwill service" program has since expired but now the roof is peeling. So, even though aware that the painting was flawed and prone to significant peeling they did not repaint affected vehicles as a whole and so it appears this issue has resurfaced.Read more

My 25 Pallisade front end/front wheels shake violently when braking and hitting a bump at the same time. It shakes so hard my steering wheel shakes also. It can happen when braking hard, soft, small bump, big bump, it doesn’t seem to matter. It is brand new and I took it into the dealership when there was about 1500 miles on it. It's I intermittent and unknown to when it will malfunction. This creates a huge hazard to driving as when it does malfunction, you're unable to steer, your vehicle can shut off, it's not safe at all. Then come to find that the part isn't even covered as a replacement on the TSB. There is no reason this part should not be recalled, how does a small plastic block become defective other than poor craftsmanship? The front driver or passenger doors do not open 100% of the time when pulling on the handle. This behavior happens after the car has been unlocked. It happens when pulling at an angle that is slightly up and quick in motion. If you pull directly out, away from the car body, and slower it will open up without issue. I unknowingly drove the

This represents a serious safety concern and a breakdown in Toyota’s recall management. The issue has now been fixed, but I am reporting this because I was misled into driving an unsafe vehicle, putting my family at risk. The engine is failing. I took my Kia Forte into the dealership in March of 2025 for a blinking engine light and loss of power. It is under a warranty for engine replacement but Kia has done everything in their power not to help their own customer out. This engine issue can cause life threatening issues such as engine fires or stalling on busy roads which could lead to accidents. I will be getting

X1 gear shifter is causing a Transmission waring - and comment to secure vehicle with parking brake when stopped. Consult Service center. I have spoken with BMW mechanic and other mechanic who have stated that it is common issue with X1 and Mini's that use same shifter. A spring breaks off in the shifter. Mini - issued a large warranty extension but it appears BMW has not.

Seems like cv joint issue. Every turn you make with the prologue there is a clicking sound. It happens on a left and right turn and sounds like clicking or tapping noise.
