I watched a YouTube video and in the video the the content provider was showcasing a product that is made by Creative Engineering (Safari Window kit) after watching the video I purchased the kit from the manufacturers web site. I installing the kit and noticed the windshield glass was very thin, less than half the thickness of the original glass. I contacted the manufacturer and they said it was
... safety glass and meets all the safety requirements, not taking their word for it I researched it and found that they has supplied me with DOT AS-2 rated safety glass which is not suitable for windshield. It turns out that AS-2 is OK for side and rear windows but the front windshield needs to have a DOT AS-1 rating. I am concerned that if someone is operating their vehicle on the freeway with a Creative Engineering (Safari Window kit) installed and a small rock is kicked up and chips the windshield, the safety glass will shatter and be blown back into the operators face, because the glass is not laminated as required for a DOT AS-1 classification for front windshields. please help me remove this product from sale and notify all who purchased this potentially dangerous item.Read more

On Friday, August 15, 2025, while leaving a grocery store, my wife pointed out that a part was hanging under my truck. After checking, I noticed that it was one of the two straps that supports the gas tank. It had dropped 3 inches from its original location and was only supported by one strap (the rear one). I temporarily attached the tank with a strap to secure it. At home, I checked the cause of
... this damage. I noticed that the area (the spacer on the frame, which has a "T"-shaped notch) where the tank strap is held (the end of the strap is "T"-shaped) is rotten, and the end of the strap has passed through. I didn't check the other attachment, but it could have the same problem because it's the same design. This part of the spacer is welded to the frame tightly and fills with dirt and water, causing corrosion.Read more

I have 37,000 miles on my car. I noticed the car was getting extremely loud when accelerating. Upon looking for recalls, I did see several mentions that people have reported issues with the flex pipe but did not see an official recall. I was confident that the issue was within the exhaust system. Unfortunately, a Ford dealership could not look at the problem for another two months so I took it to
... an independent dealership who validated that the flex pipe was rusted / busted. In addition they advised that the rear differential is also leaking fluid. For only having 37,000 miles on a car and having this kind of issues and not having an accident that would have created these issues and seeing others report the same problems I think this needs to be looked into.Read more

I first noticed that my vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of motor oil, with the oil change light coming on every 1,500–2,000 miles. I routinely had to add oil between changes to keep it running. On May 30th, while driving on surface roads, I heard clanking noises from the engine. When accelerating, the vehicle clanked heavily, and then went into “limp mode,” limiting acceleration t

I added oil, but a local shop diagnosed it with code P1326 (knock sensor) and advised that Hyundai engines are prone to failure around 100,000 miles and that I should take it to the dealer for warranty evaluation. I contacted Graham Hyundai, who told me they could not see the vehicle until July 1st and that I would be responsible for towing. I dropped the vehicle off on July 1st, but it was not inspected until July 8th or 9th. I was later told Hyundai was being consulted. Around July 15th–16th, the dealership informed me that I would need $1,500 in repairs. They stated the engine had passed the Hyundai Bearing Clearance Test (a $350 charge) and that Hyundai required me to pay for an ECU “KSD logic” upgrade ($175). They also stated the engine valve cover was leaking, requiring new spark plugs, for a total of $532. Additional charges included an oil change and other shop fees and taxes. After repairs, I was instructed to drive 1,000 miles and then return for an oil consumption test. After approximately 1,000 miles and four weeks, the dipstick check showed the vehicle had consumed nearly all of its oil. I was then told I now need a combustion chamber cleaning, costing approximately $850 and requiring three days in the shop. Given the oil consumption issues, repeated engine warnings, limp mode incident, and the significant costs already incurred for testing and required upgrades, I am requesting that my engine be replaced under warranty and that all fees I have already paid be reimbursed. Rather than keep paying for work.Read more

... ond issue: When Valve body was replaced on the vehicle, the service manager of the dealership test drove the vehicle with me in the passenger seat on the highway. The vehicle was still not shifting or accelerating correctly even after the valve body replacement. The vehicle began to shake, jerk and rumble on the test drive. The vehicle drove worse. The service manager and I took the vehicle back to the dealership and he found that two of the wheels, on the passenger side, are now bent. That is how the bent wheels were discovered. Not from inspection. Previous multipoint inspection and diagnosis shows the wheels were not bent before I brought the car into the dealership for mechanical work. I can attest to the fact that my wheels were not bent before service and this obvious shaking of the car was not previously existent. The dealership denies liability for this issue and is now refusing to replace the wheels after I have offered to pay. Dealership service manager told me it was safe to drive the vehicle with two bent wheels and I strongly disagree with that statement and so has my insurance company. It is very questionable as to why the service manager would make such a statement. The dealership told me to call other GM dealerships to have the wheels replaced. They refused to do the work as well. I am seeking the proper resolution in this situation.Read more

There were very suspicious mechanical issues wrong with the car in which the dealership told me that there isn’t anything wrong with the car, with the understanding that if anything was ever wrong with the vehicle it has been fixed. I was ensured and promised that the car does not have anything wrong with it and that it goes through inspection and diagnostics, that the vehicle cannot be sold without being tested, fixed of any problems and brought to standard. I brought this to the attention of the salesman, owner, financial advisor, service advisor, service manager. I requested a full buyback and replacement of my 2020 CT5. My dealership let me know that they still want me to pay for the valve body, battery, ambient air temperature sensor and rear parking brake motor. I had to call Cadillac corporate/General Motors to have the valve body covered & rear bumper covered/replaced. I was brought into the dealership office and was told that the buyback and replacement was denied by General Motors even though my car was showing symptoms of a defective valve body ever since I financed the car. These things were being ignored by the dealership service department. Laggy and rough acceleration as well as shifting. Strange vibrations and noises coming from the car. Slow moving and the shifting was very jerky and abnormal. The shifting was also very loud and took long times to shift 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 gears.Read more

I have had multiple incidents of "Curvature Assist Active" message appearing on screen while on Cruise Control. It suddenly reduces the speed of the car. This happens on a straight road with no curves or slope. It also happens at random. On the same stretch of road at the same time of the day, this issue pops up sometimes and doesn't on other times. Every time this comes up, the car reduces spee
... d suddenly. For example, I go from 45 mph to 23 mph in a few moments. If there is a lot of traffic behind me and the car behind me was not expecting such a sudden decrease in speed as there is no obstruction in front of me, this could lead to a safety issue. I took the car in for repair. The technicians could not find out what the issue was. They said they recalibrated the sensors and test drove and did not see this occur. As this is occurring randomly it might not have shown up when they test drove. But, it happened to me when I took the car back and it keeps happening randomly at least twice a day. There is no specific location and/or time of the day. Tesla doesn't provide an option to disable this "Curvature Assist" feature for something so basic as Cruise Control. Along with this I have had 2 incidents where my car applied brakes suddenly when there was no obstruction in front of me. In both incidents, I had to immediately take over and speed up to avoid any issue with traffic behind me. If there is any safety incident due to these issues, Tesla will have to be held liable.Read more

I am submitting this complaint to formally report repeated rear brake failures on my 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 which pose a serious safety hazard. The issue appears to be consistent with the defect described in NHTSA Campaign Number 25V013000 (Ducati Recall CR285 / SRV-RCL-25-001) involving excessive heat damage to the rear brake hose between the ABS control unit and the rear caliper. Incident Summ
... ary: Since purchasing the motorcycle in June 4,2025. have experienced three complete rear brake failures in less than two months, each occurring after warranty repairs: 1. 6/15/2025 – First ride after purchase: Rear brakes failed; smoke observed near exhaust. Returned to dealer (Moto Forza) on 6/17/2025. Dealer kept the bike for ~1 month for warranty repair related to brake line heat damage. 2. 7/19/2025 – Second occurrence: Rear brakes failed again. Returned for service. 3. 8/10/2025 – Third occurrence: Rear brakes failed completely, with blue/bronze discoloration of the rotor indicating excessive heat exposure. Returned to dealership This motorcycle has been out of service for over seven weeks since ownership. Manufacturer’s Response: Ducati’s regional representative has indicated verbally that my lowering of the motorcycle caused the brake failures and that I would not qualify for a manufacturer buyback. I dispute this claim for the following reasons: Lowering motorcycles is common and has not caused brake failures on any of the multiple bikes I’ve owned and lowered in my 9 years of riding experience. There is an active recall for the exact brake defect I am experiencing, which affects stock, unmodified 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 models. Multiple owners have reported repeated rear brake failures in unmodified bikes matching my model year and configuration. Ducati has not provided any written technical evidence to support their claim that lowering caused the defect.Read more

I own a 2017 Lincoln MKC 2.0L EcoBoost that suffered a complete engine failure caused by coolant intrusion into the combustion chambers. The vehicle began to misfire, emit thick white smoke, lose power, and quickly became almost undriveable. Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 19-2346 (June 2019), which describes coolant entering cylinders due to a flaw in the cylinder head/block design. This fail
... ure is not the result of neglect or normal wear and tear — my vehicle has been maintained according to manufacturer recommendations. Despite this, the engine requires complete replacement at a cost of approximately $9,500. The failure occurred well before what should be the normal service life of an engine, and it matches the same defect pattern reported by many other Lincoln and Ford owners with the 2.0L EcoBoost engine in multiple model years. The coolant intrusion defect creates a serious safety hazard because it can cause sudden, unpredictable loss of engine power while driving. If the defect manifests at highway speeds, the driver may experience immediate power loss, inability to accelerate, or complete engine shutdown — increasing the risk of a collision. Ford/Lincoln have issued internal bulletins to dealers acknowledging this problem but have not initiated a public recall. Many owners have been denied coverage due to warranty expiration, despite this being a manufacturing defect. The result is that numerous vehicles with a dangerous and well-documented engine flaw remain in circulation without corrective action. I believe this defect warrants investigation as it poses both a safety risk to drivers and passengers, and a broader consumer protection concern. Premature catastrophic engine failures on relatively low-mileage vehicles undermine public trust and place owners in severe financial hardship. An NHTSA investigation could compel Ford/Lincoln to issue a recall to address this hazard before more vehicles experience unsafe sudden failureRead more

Dangerously Dim Headlights: The front headlights are dangerously dim and do not provide adequate illumination for safe night driving. This is a well-documented issue with this model and poses a clear and present danger to my family and others. I have already spent my own money attempting to fix a problem that is a design flaw. I have no desire to pay for any further remedies for these issues. As the manufacturer, General Motors is responsible for the safety of its vehicles. I have also filed a formal complaint with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regarding these matters. I await your prompt response and a clear plan to resolve these critical safety issues at no cost to me. Automatic roll up sun shade for the sunroof sags and does not retract anymore, causing visibility issues as it droops down. Car is out of factory bumper to bumper warranty, currently 52k miles, and the aftermarket warranty does not cover the shade. Ford quoted over $2000 for fix, when this is a manufacturer's defect and many cars are affected.

I was driving and pressed the button to open my sunroof (which has a powered sunshade) but the sunshade dropped down on top of the 2nd row seats, blocking my view through my rear view mirror and rear window completely. I made an appointment with my Ford dealer the next day. The dealer had my vehicle for over 30 days waiting for parts to fix the tensioner system that pulls the powered sunshade back
... in order for the sunroof to open. I've seen in multiple forums online that this has happened to a lot of other people that has this option on their Ford Explorers (2020-2024) models. This was definitely a safety hazard as I was unable to see anything behind me while I was moving and luckily I didn't panic. I pulled over slowly to the soft shoulder in order to try and get the sunshade to at least go back to it's "closed" state which it finally did after trying for a few minutes. I think Ford needs to make this a recall because of the safety issues of this blocking the view of the driver.Read more

My vehicle comes to an abrupt stop while driving or when I’m pulling off at an intersection. This has happened on 4 different occasions in which I’ve injured my knee due to the vehicle stopping at random while I’m driving or pulling off. I’ve stated this to Cadillac of Memphis and to Landers GMC. The first time I happened I hit my knee by the control panel on the driver side. I’m in a br
... ace because my patellar tendon are inflamed and as well my hoffas fat pad due to the impact. Cadillac of Memphis stated it was something that went out and needed to be replaced. They replaced the battery and another part. That did not correct the issue. It happened again after that repair. The third time it happened I was told it was because the transmission was about to go out. Landers replaced the transmission. The advisor stated it should fix the problem. This was about a month ago. Today on 08/08/2025 it happened again and I also hit my knee injuring it even more than more. I’m still in a brace and now have to re-evaluated to see if the abrupt stop caused more injury. This is dangerous because my entire body jerks and cars are coming up behind me in the road and I can get into an serious accident. I need something done about this.Read more

My car quickly became unable to be driven safely when the steering started to fail. It started with a feeling of the tires sticking to the road when trying to make small adjustments to position with the steering wheel. I was not able to maintain a straight line drive without the constant small jerks associated with the sticky feeling. The steering quickly deteriorated to the point of barely being
... able to keep the car on the road because of the inability to steer. The issue was confirmed by the dealer and the driveshaft components replaced, at my expense. I was told that there is a known defect in the 2022 CRV hybrids but my VIN was not included in the recall for some reason. There were no warning lamps or messages during the failure.Read more
