On approximately March 2, 2026, the warning appeared and for the first time the steering became extremely difficult to turn, requiring significantly increased physical effort to control the vehicle. The first physical failure occurred while parking at low speed in reverse. The steering failure also occurred subsequently while driving at highway speeds. In both instances I stopped the vehicle, exited, waited briefly, and upon re-entering the vehicle the warning cleared and steering returned to normal. This same sequence repeated the following day. The vehicle was brought to a Tesla authorized service center on March 13, 2026. Tesla's technician confirmed the steering assist reduction as reported and determined the steering gear required full replacement. The failed part, steering gear left hand drive part number 1070801-00-F, was replaced. Only full hardware replacement resolved the issue permanently. Prior power cycling provided only temporary relief. My safety was directly at risk. I am a full-time rideshare driver operating at highway speeds. The failed component has been replaced and is in Tesla's possession. Tesla is charging the full repair cost out of pocket despite this matching a documented pattern of identical failures reported to NHTSA by multiple Tesla owners.Read more

The vehicle developed an exhaust leak caused by both weld points on the front exhaust pipe breaking. A dealership inspected the vehicle and confirmed that the exhaust welds had failed, creating a hole in the exhaust pipe and triggering a P0420 catalyst efficiency code. The failure occurred at approximately 31,500 miles. The exhaust leak caused increased exhaust noise and emissions warning codes.

This appears similar to known failures on the Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse platform where the front exhaust pipe mounting bracket separates from the pipe due to weld failure. GM has issued special coverage adjustments for similar exhaust pipe bracket weld failures on other model years of these vehicles. Also- we took our vehicle to a local inspection auto shop because we have an issue with the transmission shuttering like you are driving over a rumble strip. We were informed there has been recalls on the Colorado trucks through the years however we have no recall on our vin. I believe and feel this should be covered under the recall since it’s obviously is an ongoing issue through the years. There weren’t any warning lights and currently still no warning lights when these issues happen. This is a big inconvenience owning a truck that we bought brand new and having repeated issues that are known for this particular vehicle. Yes it will be available to be inspected upon request. Please assist. Attached is a receipt where we tried to see if the truck was possibly shuttering from being out of aligned. I contact Honda of America to start a claim for a goodwill reimbursement and they told me only (and repeatedly) that the vehicle was too old, out of warranty and that they WOULD NOT consider reimbursement of the repair to this integrated and vital safety system. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has documented 2,976 complaints involving unintended automatic braking in Honda vehicles, with 47 crashes and 93 injuries reported. These issues involve Honda vehicles equipped with camera-based collision mitigation braking systems similar to the one used in the 2017 Pilot. Because this failure involves a core safety system component, and because there is: -documented evidence of system-wide safety investigations -thousands of consumer complaints -shared safety technology across the Honda lineup I requested reimbursement from Honda America. They made ZERO effort to acknowledge this safety system fault and clearly stated they would not reimburse me NOR would the customer service representative provide me with any guidance on how to further pursue the matter. NHTSA complaints involving the 2017 Honda Pilot reference failures involving the Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist System, and Adaptive Cruise Control warnings, all systems dependent on the same forward-facing camera architecture. My wife's 2025 Buick Enclave with less than 10,000 miles (around 9,800) stranded us on the highway. Transmission was shuddering and felt like we were hitting rumble straps on acceleration. Then, we couldn't go over 18 mph, then it just stopped. Couldn't even pull off to the side of the road because the electronics wouldn't let the vehicle go into neutral to allow us to push it onto the shoulder.
... Eventually we got it off the Interstate to a residential area. When tow truck arrived, they couldn't get it into neutral and had to drag it onto the wrecker with generous amounts of WD-40. That can't be good for the vehicle. The vehicle is at Randy Wise Buick in Fenton, Michigan. We were lucky not to have been hit on the Interstate. When the component fails, oil pressure regulation becomes erratic or is lost entirely. In many cases, drivers receive little or no actionable warning prior to engine damage or vehicle disablement. Reported precursor symptoms include inability to electronically measure engine oil level, abnormal oil pressure behavior, or sudden drivetrain malfunction warnings. Failures may rapidly progress to engine shutdown or severe mechanical damage caused by oil starvation. Loss of lubrication can cause the vehicle to become disabled without warning while driving or shortly after startup. This creates a safety hazard, particularly when vehicles become immobilized in active traffic or during winter conditions the cold is when they fail the most, where occupants may be exposed to freezing temperatures while awaiting assistance. Replacement of the oil pump requires extensive disassembly of the vehicle and repairs commonly exceed $6,000–$8,000 for just the pump, assuming the motor is unharmed. Owners are currently unable to determine whether their vehicles contain the original thermoplastic oil pump design or a later revised version utilizing metal internal components, as VIN-based parts information now identifies updated components in the car even when no replacement has occurred and the old components are actually in the car. Defective "TURBO CHARGER" at 38,091 miles. The defective worn-out or damaged turbocharger was removed from the engine and a new one was installed at a cost of $1816.00. This part should not wear out at 38,000 miles. My mechanic informed me that this is common in the Buick Encore vehicles to experience a defective "TURBO CHARGER" at low vehicle mileage.

My car started stalling on speed bumps and turning. Then one day it stopped accelerating and died. There is No COMPRESSION. I am told I now probably need a new engine. I saw that other Elantras from 2019 were recalled for this issue and why wasn’t mine? I could have gotten hurt

The vehicle continues to unlock itself. The dealer has been able to reproduce the problem. First repair. They said it was because of a recall to do with the door handles, even though the recall didn’t state any of that cause they were able to reproduce the vehicle unlocking itself after the recall so they did a software update once I took the vehicle home was able to reproduce, and the issue of

I see there are many complaints and lawsuits that GM has not attended to. How do we get GM to initiate a recall on something they are and were well aware of.
