This happens every single day, not just today, but are two separate issues related to my brakes. 1- squealing brakes. Every single day and for several miles before they warm up. The first time I brought this issue to the attention of the dealership, they replaced the brakes, and there was no squealing for just a few days. I forced the dealership within a week to let them know, I had to bring it ba
... ck in, and they said they were fine and would just squeal. To this day, I have no idea if this is safe or not, but haven’t been able to receive a message that they squeal for any specified reason, which does not ease safety concerns. 2- my app told me that I had only 18% brake pad life remaining when I was around 11k miles. I took it in and they said they just reset the sensor without fixing the brakes because they didn’t know why it was doing that - its now clear to me that this isn’t an accurate reflection of true brake life measurements and is most likely just based off of miles driven instead of a true measurement, as advertised. I love this car, but am super disappointed that my brakes are so consistently loud - it’s both embarrassing and worrisome. And to make the dealership aware and just have them reset a sensor for this completely separate concern is honestly obnoxious.Read more

In December 2017 we were involved in a rear end collision so violent the spare tire was knocked out from under the vehicle. Our vehicle, 2014 Buick Enclave VIN [XXX] was struck in the rear. The lap belt held us secure, but the shoulder belt allowed us to be tossed forward. My head hit the left windshield/top post leaving me looking like a racoon the next day. General Motors representatives, [X

We now drive a 2018 Buick Enclave VIN [XXX] that we purchased as a result of the December 2017 accident. We have noticed the same problem with the shoulder belts not working in sync with the lap belt, especially during a panic braking. Could this be product failure or just coincidence? I BELEIVE THIS WARRANTS EVALUATION! Thank you. My email address is [XXX] , mailing address is [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

My 2016 Hyundai Genesis started flashing a code stating “Check PSB” only a week after buying the car. PSB means Pre-active Seat Belt. The seat belts somehow interlink with the fuel pump. I’ve done research,

As well as many owners online stating their vehicle has done the same as mine. There is active recalls on the newer years for this issue, such as the 2023. When the same issue is reported multiple times on the 2016s too, there should be a recall. This is a common issue, & quite frankly a dangerous one. If the fuel pump module is miscommunicating with the seat belts, that could cause them to not react in a collision. I have my vehicle scheduled to be serviced in a few days.Read more

Bottom line, I am 16 days in , with 4-6 weeks to go with no car, no options as of this claim. I pay 700 a month for this lease and I will be out 2 months---I just asked them to extend it for the 2 months on them or keep the Jeep, Chrysler advised again to call dealer as they cannot do any of that. My 2025 Buick Encore GX has experienced an ongoing failure of the rear backup camera system. The issue began intermittently in February 2026, and earlier this month (March) it has progressively worsened. The camera now does not function at all. When shifting into reverse, the display often shows a black screen with a “camera unavailable” warning message. On some occasions, the camera briefly
... functions but displays severe distortion, including abnormal colors, flickering, and warning symbols overlaid on the image. The issue continues to occur intermittently and unpredictably. This failure creates a safety concern because the backup camera is a required safety feature intended to assist with rear visibility while reversing. The malfunction reduces visibility and increases the risk of not seeing objects, vehicles, or pedestrians behind the vehicle. The problem has not yet been inspected by the dealership due to limited appointment availability. I have documented the issue with photos and video showing the malfunction, including distortion and loss of image. Approximately 8 weeks after purchasing this vehicle in March 2025 (5/3/25) the Digital Instrument Cluster (driver information center) and infotainment display went completely black while driving, leaving no visible speed, fuel level, or other critical vehicle information visible to the driver. This raises concern about the reliability of the vehicle’s electronic systems, particularly as the backup camera— another critical safety feature— is now also malfunctioning. This issue has progressed from intermittent to consistent failure.Read more

I am reporting a potential safety defect involving Goodyear Wrangler TrailRunner AT tires size LT275/65R20. I purchased a new 2025 GMC Sierra 3500HD in August 2025. As a 36-year automotive professional, I recognized the serious safety risk posed by this condition and replaced all fou
... r tires at my own expense with a different brand. Since then, I have seen multiple reports of similar sidewall failures on brand-new trucks, which suggests this may be a systemic issue. Based on my experience and these reports, I believe this defect may be known to both Goodyear and GM but has not been adequately addressed. I urge the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to investigate this matter to determine whether these tires pose a significant safety risk to the public. Vehicle Information: Make & Model: 2025 GMC Sierra 3500HD Tire Model: Goodyear Wrangler TrailRunner AT tire size LT275/65R20. I am the original owner of a 2025 Hyundai Sonata purchased new in 2025. The vehicle currently has fewer than 4,000 miles on the odometer. Since early in my ownership, I have experienced a persistent and recurring squealing noise that occurs specifically when releasing the brake pedal after a short stop, and when transitioning from braking to acceleration. This is not an intermittent or weather/hum
... idity-related issue. The noise has been consistent and ongoing throughout my ownership and has not resolved on its own--I was thinking it might since new cars take some time to adjust. At under 4,000 miles, brake components on this vehicle should be essentially new. Brake pads are engineered to last between 30,000 and 70,000 miles under normal driving conditions. A persistent brake noise at this mileage cannot reasonably be attributed to normal wear and tear and is indicative of a manufacturing defect, defective OEM brake pad compound, or a sticking/dragging brake caliper that fails to fully release after braking. I note that NHTSA has previously investigated Hyundai Sonata brake behavior, including a technical bulletin concerning rear brake pads remaining in contact with rotors after a diagnostic self-check cycle, causing a dragging condition in the next drive cycle. My symptoms are consistent with this type of brake drag behavior. Multiple Hyundai Sonata owners have documented the same persistent squeal-on-release pattern on Hyundai owner forums, with some reporting the issue beginning within the first year of new vehicle ownership and dealers being unable to diagnose or resolve it. I have formally reported this issue to Hyundai Motor America Consumer Affairs prior to filing this complaint and have requested warranty coverage. I am filing this complaint to create an official federal record of this defect and to contribute to any pattern investigation NHTSA may conduct on 2025 Hyundai Sonata brake systems.Read more
