On 1/21 at about 12:20pm, the gas pedal on my 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid stopped responding mid-drive with no warning while going uphill at 25mph. Had to stop in the road, put the car in park, then put it back in gear and the pedal worked again. After the pedal cut out, multiple alerts cycled on the dash, but only the gas pedal stopped working. This is the 3rd such incident since buying the car new

Pulled over, shut off, restarted, and the pedal worked again. I brought the car to my dealer each time. They found “loss of communication codes” but could not replicate the issue. They still have my car as of now and told me via text that "your Accord is communicating codes that we do not have a repair for yet." Unfortunately, they have closed my case without making repairs because they "have not found any issues in the system". On Monday, [XXX] my husband was driving his 2019 Chevy Trail Boss (VIN [XXX] ) home from work and a warning light came on the dash indicating “low oil pressure, turn engine off.” He pulled off the road immediately to turn the truck off and then realized that there was oil pouring out from the truck and which had covered the entire underside and sides of the vehicle. After having the truck t
... owed to the local dealership we were notified that the issue was related to the oil cooler lines detaching causing the oil leak. The recommended fix was replacement of the lines and fresh oil. We proceeded with the service and thankfully there was no apparent damage to the engine at this time. The dealership acknowledged that this was a common problem with this truck. We paid $1,307.13 for the completion of this work, completed by Urka Auto Center in Ludington, MI. Unfortunately, after doing some research it has come to our attention that the detachment of the oil cooler lines is a very common problem amongst 2019 Chevy and GMC trucks and have located service bulletin (GMC TSB [XXX]) that identifies this as an issue for a select group of vehicles. It is very concerning that this has never been identified as a recall and it’s obvious that this issue affects many more trucks than those identified in the service bulletin. Similar issues also noted in Customer Satisfaction Program documents ([XXX] and [XXX]). We live in Michigan and, as happens in Michigan during winter, we’ve been experiencing snow and cold temps. It seems that in our research the colder temps put these oil cooler lines at an even greater risk of failure. The detachment of the oil coolant lines seems to be much more wide-spread than what has been acknowledged in the referenced documents. This parts failure has potential to severely damage the vehicle's engine. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

... hat previous 3 years. I get strange looks as to why their going to resolve this safety concern as the maintenance manual on page 240 of the owner's manual states on right top page,: "If dirt or foreign matter ( such as drooletsz, snow, mud etc.) is adhering to the camera, it cannot transmit a clear image. In this case, flush with a large quantity of water and wipe the camera lens clean with a soft and wet cloth." This cleaning procedure doesn't work in subfreezing temperatures and only causes the water to freeze to this area of the rear hatch area and to the floor or driveway! This is a serious safety flaw having to rely on a dirty camera monitor when backing up which every time I leave my single lane driveway going directly to the avenue I reside. Besides with water and wet soft cloth leaving road grit debris on the camera will further risk to scratching up the view lense cover! On [XXX], around 1:00, I was driving normally on the highway. I remember using autopilot, and the speed limit was 55 mph, but I'm not very sure. At that time, it was raining heavily, and I was following the car in front, not doing anything else. Suddenly, I noticed that the Tesla car turned sharply to the left by itself! I couldn't control it. Let me repeat: the Tesla car suddenly turned left by
... itself. I instinctively grabbed the steering wheel, turned in the opposite direction to correct it, and pressed the brakes, but it was too late. I collided with a car in the adjacent lane, and the car later turned about 180 degrees and stopped! The left side airbags in the front and back all deployed! However, I were not injured. I got out of the car, immediately called the police, and contacted the owner of the collided vehicle. Later, the police arrived to document the incident. I believe it was a malfunction of the Tesla that caused the accident! I did not make a left turn manually! It was in normal driving mode. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? I have no idea, should check Tesla's driving records and the recorded video from the incident. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? No. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others? No. Were there any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? On the day of the accident, in the morning, I noticed that the car exhibited a slight phenomenon of accelerating and then stopping on its own while I was driving, It was first appear but it wasn't severe. Ever since a recent software update, when turn signal is activated, right fender camera feed appears on screen but is completely black instead of showing a visual of the right blind spot. Due to this other features such as Autopilot, Automatic Emergency Braking, and likely most of the ADAS functions are also disabled. Due to the vehicle's poor natural visibility, there is a high reliance on the c
... amera systems functioning properly. Not having a blind spot camera endangers turns and lane changes, especially if one has become accustomed to their usage. With most if not all the ADAS features disabled, we are returning to a 1990's level of auto safety. The problem remains unresolved despite a recent 2 week stint in Tesla service. Since this is most likely a software issue (possibly a regression introduced with the recent rear camera recall fix) there is no recourse except for Tesla to issue a bug fix. The car was returned to me without resolution. I'm not the only party experiencing this problem. It seems the only constant is it's a problem with the fender cameras however whether it's the right or left side is variable.
