Heating & ventilation, I have lost heat in my truck, issues with fuel pump/filte where truck won’t start, and had the water pump had to be replace. I believe the majority of the things listed had recalls. What is included in the recalls and can a recall be replaced more than 1x?

Unknown issues w/ sensors and wiring lead to turbocharger failure. This led to spontaneous acceleration issues on the highway. Less than a year after the warranty covered the replacement of the turbocharger (less than 60k miles on the car) the turbocharger again failed (64k miles on car).

The car has “detected” a crash many times and automatically stopped even on the highway. It jerks and to slam on the brakes and then keeps going. It’s very dangerous and I have a strong theory it’s the model in general and not an isolated situation with my car.

This issue is not news as many PHEV owners are dealing with the same issue, From my understanding Mitsubishi didn't install a battery warmer on the new generation Outlander PHEV however the prior generation Outlander PHEV did have a battery warmer and there were no issues with that model in cold climates. Your vehicle should always be a reliable source of heat when needed it doesn't seem to be very reliable in cold climates and it really is a hazard when it decides to reduce power with no warning.Read more

The issue is when this happens you cannot change the vehicle to snow mode to drive. this is a safety feature as well as the flashing "brake" warning and audible alarm. I have a [XXX] and [XXX] driver and they do not want to operate this vehicle. Both times it happened again, I took it to the car wash and cleaned every visible camera and sensor to no avail. I am taking it back to the dealer again this Friday but if nothing is wrong with any of these systems then there is something wrong with the cameras because how can someone operate AWD and snow mode when there are these false warnings and how do you know if they aren't false. I don't want to assume each time it's not but 3 times in 10 days and missing work, etc. Plus I am very nervous driving it like this. After Three months they then told me I need a new engine because it has locked itself up. I purchased the vehicle with 32,000 miles and It currently has 49,000 miles. Chevrolet are not going to warranty me a new engine because i do my own oil changes (which were 2). The RPMs at rest were always over 1000. Additionally at times, the gear would not shift into second or third and/or bottom out. Obviously the transmission is beyond malfunctioning. Instead of addressing the issue, BMW dismissed it and suggested I get it fixed elsewhere. BMW’s own manager confirmed my vehicle was returned in this unsafe condition. If I hadn’t noticed, this could have resulted in wheel detachment, loss of control, or a crash. Additionally, after a routine oil change on December 27, 2024, BMW’s Multi-Point Inspection (provided January 12, 2024) revealed: •A missing stiffening plate, which supports chassis integrity. BMW stated this could cause chassis damage. •Coolant expansion tank & vent hose leaks, affecting vehicle cooling. •Fluid leaks, which could worsen over time. Contradiction in BMW’s Diagnostics & Evidence of Negligence: •The 1/12 Multi-Point Inspection contradicts the 12/27 diagnostic image I captured from service advisor Kevin Guo. •BMW failed to identify these issues on 12/27, despite servicing my vehicle that day. •This suggests either a misdiagnosis, negligence, or an attempt to cover up damages. Safety Concerns & Inspection Status: •The wheel issue put my safety at risk, and BMW has not taken accountability. •The stiffening plate issue affects vehicle stability, which could lead to handling problems or structural failure. •These issues were confirmed by BMW’s own inspection report on 1/12/25, contradicting the 12/27 diagnostic. ... dealer for 3 weeks, they were able to reproduce the problem, but they could not resolve the issue. they contacted the engineers in Nissan and no luck. the best they were able to do was guess it was the ecm. that is after they claimed it was the fuel pump and talked me into changing it, although I had a new aftermarket pump installed a month prior, and charged me over $1200 but after a search online I came across a video of an identical issue with a person who posted a video a year ago. in his case, the engineers suggested changing the instrument cluster. the care worked since then. At the time I was watching the video I was setting in my car that wont start. I tapped on the dashboard. it worked! there will be no warning signs for the issue. no pattern either. it happens randomly. it does not shut the car down as often. but the almost daily one is not letting the car start.Read more

While looking into this cars reports using the vin number since I found it a little off putting that the transmission and timing chain is already giving out at 188,000 miles I come to find out the car may have a odometer rollback since it was last reported to have 256,500 miles and it that it was possibly altered. So the Timing chain and the transmission were the components that needed change. My safety was put as risk when the gear would not change redlining the car when driving in public roads cause me to limit my speed to be under the speed limit when realization of the issue set it of the car. The issue has not been confirmed only the time change since it was fixed at a service center. It has also not been inspected by manufacturer, police, or insurance since I’m not sure how to report Odometer rollback fraud. I called the Hyundai corporation and they advised to bring the car to the Hyundai repair shop- the car was then inspected in the shop - found some " lower rod bearing failure" but the Hyundai denied a Goodwill claim because of some maintenance neglect which has not been true - they had all our oil change receipts - I am the original owner - bought the car in finance and overall paid it off in 5 years - the car cost me 30K brand new- we were changing oil as soon as the message for the need to change oil would come up - every 5 - 5.5 K miles, all the records have been sent to the corporation, they have just said " neglect" out of the blue...They have denied the Goodwill engine replacement based on that falsely stated "neglect." I see there have been recalls for the oil ring piston issues in Konas including 2019 - for the engines 2.0L Nu MPI- the cylinders would start knocking from some overheat of the ring. Our engine is 1.6 GTI - but the engines are related, and our problem seems to be the same as in that 2.0L Nu MPI engine. Please, look for the similar cases for those Kona GTI Turbo engines for 2019- the one we have, seems that our Kona is fitting into the profile of those defected engines and the recalls like the one under the number 21V 301 203. Total recalls should be done, and full compensation to consumers. GM & Chevy are fully aware of the defects and should be held responsible and accountable for the dangerously hazardous fumes that they are knowingly allowing unsuspecting consumers to become victims of their neglect and found guilty of all laws created to protect consumers, and the environment for these defective vehicles and found guilty pursuant to any and all Lemon Laws pertaining to aforementioned toxic chemical exposure. Vehicle Drive Shaft makes clicking noise at the CV Joint. Vehicle part is backordered due to nationwide shortage caused by vehicle defect on numerous 2024 Honda Prologues. Owner of RV contacted Dexter Axle, the manufacturer of the axle. As a second owner, warranty was no longer valid. Dexter representative did state that the replacement 5200lb axle outer bearing has been changed to a larger bearing. The representative stated that the reason for change was not due to reported failures but consolidation. The owner had both axles replaced with 6000lb axles and has driven 1250 miles since incident.Read more

Also, bear in mind that speed limit signs are often only posted on the right side of the road; If there is something blocking the sign, like another vehicle, the cruise will still disengage without warning, and the driver does not know it. The only way to tell if cruise is still engaged is by looking for a small green icon in the bottom left of the dash display, which is over 20 degrees down from focal view.
