THIS MAY BE A MANUFACTURING FLAW OF THE RUBBER HUGS CHEST PAD AFTER NORMAL USAGE ONE OF THE PADS HAS SNAPPED INTO TWO PIECES. I PURCHASED TWO OF THE BRITAX ADVOCATE CLICKTIGHT CONVERTIBLE CAR SEATS FOR MY 6 MONTH OLD TWINS. UPON RECEIVING THEM THE HARNESS WAS NOT CONNECTED PROPERLY TO THE ANCHOR AT THE HIPS ON BOTH SEATS. (THE END LOOP WAS AROUND THE ANCHOR BUT NOT THROUGH THE BOOK, SO IT WAS NOT ENGAGED AND WOULD COME LOOSE IF PULLED ON). THIS WAS EXTREMELY CONCERNING BECAUSE IT MEANT THAT IF I HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT, THE 5 POINT HARNESS WOULD NOT HAVE WORKED AND ONE, POSSIBLY BOTH SIDES OF THE STRAPS AROUND THEIR LEGS WOULD HAVE COME OFF. WHEN GO CALLED BRITAX THEY OFFERED TO REPLACE BOTH CAR SEATS.
