My 3 failures happened at approximately 10,000, 15,000 and 20,000 miles. My safety and that of my passenger were most definitely affected each and every time. When that happens the SERVICE HILL HOLDER, and then multiple other safety features have warnings for, SERVICE ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL, DRIVE MODE UNAVAILABLE, ACTIVE LANE MANAGEMENT UNAVAILABLE SERVICE REQUIRED, AUTO EMERGENCY BRAKING UNAVAILABLE SERVICE REQUIRED, STOP/START UNAVAILABLE SERVICE START/STOP SYSTEM. I told the dealer that had my car for a month at 49k miles about the hill holder and what my vehicle did. No results and still have this issue. When you turn off the vehicle the service lights disappear and can't be read. This happens almost every day now. I replaced my AUX battery after it seems to happen when my vehicle is off and struggled to turn back on at times and it still does it. I'm afraid that I'm going to get into an accident when people see I took my foot off the brake and will get rear ended or if my vehicle is going to brake itself and cause an accident or the other safely issue fail. The stability control can be an issue and drive mode I can't turn off or on those features when those notifications pop up. When I put the car in Reverse, the display screen remains blank, sometimes it flickers on and off, and sometimes it just states "no video detected". I have replaced the core and the monitor, which only leaves the camera itself. This is a hazard to not be able to see what is behind me. I have many more receipts for this repair if needed.

So, the excessive rear tire wear was not caused by driving habits, but by the bad/defect brake system BMW replaced. This bad brake system will affect use and maintenance cost of the vehicle in the future. BMW needs to take the responsibility. The dealership technician also expressed the brake concern causing excessive tire wear issue. BMW denied the replacement of the tires upon the dealership technician requested. It's a common problem and my research revealed many Hondas have been recalled for this very problem, but not my particular car. They determined that the fuel pump had to be replaced at a cost to me of $1,200. The indirect measurement TPMS system of this car has misdetected low tire pressure on three occasions. Most recently, on October 3 while driving on the freeway at about 70 MPH the TPMS alert illuminated. I checked the information screen and the display showed low pressure in all four tires. Because I have had misdetection of the right front tire twice before, and that it seemed very unlikely that
... all four tires would deflate at the same time, I disregarded the alert as a false detection. Later I checked the air pressure in all four tires and found it to be exactly correct. In an earlier episode, as I mentioned the TPMS alerted that the right front tire was low. In this instance, I did not have a history of false detections, so I believed the information to be accurate and immediately exited the freeway and returned home where I had a (very accurate) tire pressure gauge. Of course, the pressure was correct in all tires. I then followed the Volvo recalibration procedure and this completed successfully until later that day when the same tire alerted to low pressure again. I rechecked, again pressure was correct, and re-ran the calibration procedure. I did not have any other false detection again until about a year later when the October 3 incident occurred. The car has had at least one “total system update” to the software to address other issues since the first false detection incident, possibly two (not sure). The problem I am having with this is that Volvo apparently decided to change from direct sensor measurement to indirect wheel speed measurement around 2019 or 2020 as a cost saving measure. That is fine, but the indirect measurement system they are using is causing so many false alarms that now the first thing I think when I see an alert is that it is not a real problem. This is not a good situation. Volvo forums are full of complaints by other owners of similar false alarms. Volvo should fix this problem through software or restore direct measurement.Read more

Replacement quote is $9900. Out of warranty, no customer support assistance, less than 60000miles. Known engine issues with 2.0 Ecoboost by Ford, but no recall.

I received recall notice for 24V-554 on 9/22/2024. The recall notice informs that Tesla will resolve the recall safety defect by over-the-air update via the car's WIFI capabilities. I have informed Tesla that my car's WIFI capabilities are broken and I scheduled service for October 3rd. ... rmed Tesla that I am missing a required safety recall update, and asked if they able to push the update to me via the car's internet or otherwise remedy the issue of my car not having capability to resolve the safety defect. Tesla responded "Due to contraints at the service center we unfortunately had to reschedule you" for October 24th. The vehicle shutters and has stalled while trying to cross an intersection, almost causing an accident while my children were in the car. It will shutter at take off from a complete stop and will randomly change gears while driving at a constant speed on a level road. When it stalls the wheel locks up as well preventing you from steering off the road and to safety

Purchased this 2024 BMW X7M60I in March 23, since day 1 of ownership and with 100 miles on the dash the car has had massive breaking, electrical, and engine issues. Almost every safty light on the dash comes on or is always on. Car was taken to Centry West BMW over many times and many months/years. Previous to this new recall dated Feb 24 they replaced the IBC and DSC and the whole brake booster a
... nd brake system. This was completed on Oct 5th of 23. I was told that this would fix all the problems with the car. Since then the car is still having the same issues regarding the brakes, engine, and electrical. Previous to this new recall coming out BMW refused to acknowledge that this car is unsafe and unfit to drive. They assured me that it was fixed. Car was taken back in to dealership on June 14th 24 due to the same issues and more new ones appearing. The dealership once more told me that the car was safe and that they are unaware of any recalls and or issues with the car. From day 1 the vehicle would basically turn into a brick and not start and would not allow itself to be driven or towed either since once the car becomes a brick you are not able to switch the car into neutral to tow it. The car would shut down and shut off completely during driving as well almost causing many accidents. When the car shuts off completely there are no breaks or steering wheel to be able to control the car! After many services visits where they continually would not allow me to list all issues with the car on the intake paperwork during service they finally told me they do not know how to fix it. I reached out to BMW NA and asked for a buy back. I feel that BMW NA and their dealerships do not act in good faith. They know of widespread defects and safty issues and constantly try to fool their customers! This car has many issues and the break booster is just 1 of over 15 major safty issues!
