The abs and electrical brake system lights stay on. I’m worried that this will affect the functioning of the brake system. I’ve read many posts on forums about this happening to other people. It sounds like a manufacturer defect. I have not brought it to the dealer yet because the cost of repair sounds like a lot of money.

I have a 2023 Ford F-150 that has experienced a fatigue fracture failure to the drivers side axle bolt exactly as described in recall 23S65. I removed the separated axle bolt segment from within my wheel, and I continue to experience a squealing noise while lightly accelerating and braking. This failure c
... an lead to sudden loss of acceleration or vehicles rolling away while parked. Symptoms can be subtle and often go unnoticed for significant durations of time and miles driven. Recall 23S65 does not include my VIN as my truck was built in February 2023, and the recall coverage terminates for trucks built in December 2022. I inquired with Ford's recall service line and they are unwilling to consider expanding the recall, and they recommended that I instead file a complaint with NHTSA. I believe that more trucks built after December 2022 are impacted by this defective axle design and I want to ensure eligibility for redesigned parts is accordingly extended. Subject: Urgent Safety Concern Regarding 2023 GMC Canyon Fuel Pump Module Failure I am writing to express my concerns regarding a significant safety issue I experienced with my 2023 GMC Canyon, which has only 3,000 miles on the odometer. On November 12, 2024, while traveling southbound on Interstate 75 in Florida, my vehicle unexpectedly lost all power. All electronics, including the dashboard a
... nd display screens, shut off, and the engine stalled. I was forced to coast to a stop on the shoulder, directly on the bridge section of I-75 over U.S. 301. With less than 12 inches of clearance between my driver’s side and passing traffic, this situation posed a severe risk to my safety. To make matters worse, the tow truck driver was unable to safely and properly secure my vehicle due to the danger presented by the high-speed traffic. My vehicle has now been at the GMC dealership for seven days, and I have been informed that the issue was caused by a faulty fuel pump module. I believe this represents a critical safety defect that warrants immediate attention and possibly a recall. Upon further research, I have found similar reports of fuel pump module failures in online forums, indicating that this may be a widespread issue affecting other owners across the country. In addition, when the tow truck dropped my vehicle off at the GMC dealership, after reading the engine codes the dealership found 18 active engine codes. I feel as if this is a possible known issue and I should have been informed when purchasing the vehicle. I kindly request your assistance in addressing this matter. I urge GMC to investigate the extent of this defect and take appropriate action to ensure the safety of all affected vehicles and their drivers. Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent matter. Please let me know how GMC plans to proceed. I am available to provide additional information or documentation if needed.Read more

My Auntie was on her way to a sports game driving about 70 MPH when she heard a loud bang then sounded like metal in a blender and chirping. ... top of the hill. If that engine had locked up completely she could have been killed at worst. The thing is that we took the vehicle to Honda 2 weeks prior to see if the vehicle was affected by the bearing recall and they said no the best they could do is give me honda corporate phone number to make a complaint which we did. I’ve also read online about fellow honda owners having these engines failing and not being covered which is a $6000 dollar job that’s half the vehicle's price which is insane that is what the mechanic quoted us to replace the engine. She still has the vehicle parked cause the repair is expensive. So these v6 engine have to be looked into cause so many families could get hurt.Read more

Loss of motive control ongoing issue. This is documented problem being investigated by NTHSA, R2Q4014. Functional issue: • Engine flips into Neutral unexpectedly. Vehicle coasts to a stop, where it flips into Park on its own. • Vehicle requires a restart to move gear out of Neutral. After restarting vehicle, vehicle can operate on limited power that maxes out at about 35 mph. Acceleration i
... s dramatically reduced, gradually ramping up as the vehicle continues to drive — the acceleration pedal does not control speed. Coming to a complete stop while driving with the vehicle in this reduced power mode requires another gradual ramp up to speed, making typical street driving difficult because it may take 30-45 seconds for the vehicle to ramp up to adequate speed (ramp from zero to 35mph), frustrating other drivers behind he vehicle who may think the slow speed is intentional. • After the vehicle has sat powered down for a number of minutes, it can be started up again at full power. I have seen this refractory period as low as 15 minutes and as high at 45-ish minutes. This issue has happened to me multiple times, 9 as of last count. Ford has attempted a fix twice now, and the issue persists. I would be happy to discuss full experience and how Ford has responded, or rather not responded, with your investigative team.
