I could not find an exact category check above, but this does sort of relate to cruise control. The Driver Attention Warning cannot be disabled even though there is an option to disable it. Turning it off has no affect. This is a warning that basically tells you to keep your eyes on the road. Sunglasses and regular eyeglasses can often cause it to create a warning. The system will then turn off cr

This car overconsumes oil rapidly. I have always taken it for oil changes when due. I put hardly any miles on my car (10k or less annually) and every time I take it for an oil change they say it is extremely low. The oil light never comes on to alert me that it is low. About a week or two ago it started making a clicking noise and it was due for an oil change so I took it for one and the technicia
... n said that this is a common issue with Hyundai cars and that there is permanent engine damage due to the overconsumption of oil. I am only halfway through paying this car off and it will cost as much as it is worth to repair it.Read more

Incident date: Nov 17, 2024
Multiple recalls for this VIN. My vehicle has had 2 recalls. H415 fault has occurred 2x. Starting with Recall H441: I was NEVER informed that there was a FIRE/safety hazard due to a recall. Safety Risk/Repair on Jags site read "A vehicle thermal overload condition such as fire or smoke can result in increased risk of occupant injury and/or injury to persons outside the vehicle, as well as prop
... erty damage", & "This software provides an enhanced level of driver warnings in relation to battery condition and where the software determines a risk exists, the High Voltage battery charging capacity is limited to 75%" which happens to be 5% over the warranty degradation threshold. Aside from never receiving any recall notice, when i got my car back, they never said ANYTHING about these dangers, nor was my vehicle limited to 75% capacity. H514: This fault came on in 8 & 10/2024 so I made an appts. They had no appts availability in earlier October so i waited. I was told 2x prior to bringing the car in that this was not a warrantied item so they would not provide me a loaner. After getting the car back 19 days later, my ac was fully inoperable and the H514 fault kicked in again. I made an appt with another dealership who has had the car for 6 days. They just informed me the code didn't come back up & was not in the system after they drove my car 100mi. My concerns are Jaguar's lack of transparency & how they're dealing with everything. After JUST finding out that my car can set fire, being told to park away from my house [or any buildings] and that i could not charge at home, my anxiety is through the roof. 12/6 my cars "ready" to pick up with a very serious issue acting intermittently. I have no confidence driving the car. What if a fire occurs while i'm driving?, the systems shut down & I can't exit in a fire? Perhaps i pull into my driveway/garage to unload something and the car ignites. ?'m at a charging station filled with EVs & fire starts?!Read more

Rear Tail light assembly is faulty and allows water intrusion which affects the blind spot alert to send alert that service is needed. When this happens it causes the entire infotainment area and dash to begin flashing and going haywire. Nothing works. Windows will not respond or go up or down. Speedometer is not present at all. This happened to us while on a highway which was quite alarming. The
... blind spot alert is tied to the whole computer system for the truck so when this fails it affects everything else. Upon taking to dealership we were told Ram is aware of this issue and has changed the design of the newer tail light assemblies including better weather stripping to keep water out. So they admit there is an issue but will not cover replacement of the faulty part and instead quotes almost $2000 to fix this. We called Ram directly at 800-334-9200 to lodge a complaint and inform them that this is a serious safety issue. Case #[XXX] was opened. This problem is not limited to just us as a simple google search of “blind spot alert ram truck “ yields hundreds of people who have and are experiencing this same issue. The oil had been changed by an independent shop at 75085 miles. This incident happened at 78,887 miles. I feel the drain plug would have fallen out before 3002 miles if it was put in loose. On [XXX] at around 6pm the AIRBAG light displayed in instrument cluster and remained steady after vehicle was placed in motion. I called my nearest service dealer at Porsche Carlsbad and they ran a vehicle diagnosis using their scanning tool. The finding was that the Front Passenger Seat Occupancy Sensor / Module was defective and needs replacement. The dealer also said that a recall had been i
... ssued (for which my vehicle's VIN was not listed). I called Porsche Company North America and they said my VIN was not part of that campaign to fix this issue, but I feel that this recall related to vehicle safety should have included my vehicle since it was within the make/model/year and trim of those included in the recall. Turbo, Rear-Coupler, Engine, Actuator Car was squealing and I was told that the serpentine belt needed to be replaced. Replaced this. Car still squealing and took it back. They replaced the belt, again.. Still squealing, now I am told its the tensioner that needs to be replaced but only Infiniti can do this (belt done at Firestone). At Infiniti - they look at the car and the tensioner is fine. Bu
... t my turbo is blown. How? So, they replace the turbo and then say the rear coupler needs to be replaced. Repairs done and Infiniti said all fluids are good, everything is great. However, I might see slight smoke and a burning smell for 100-150 miles as theres a thin layer of oil on the turbo that will burn off. Oil change isnt due for 5k miles and I checked before my short road trip - all is good. Past the 100-150 miles and the car is SMOKING and SMELLS OF BURNING... Call infiniti, this is normal it will go away. Check fluids again, as no lights on the dashboard and oil is fine. Come back to get my car, check the ground as I always do and no oil/fluid and proceed home. 10 mins from my house the car WREAKS of burning smell, will not accelerate, no dashboard lights. So, I sit there and let it cool down - check again everything looks good. Try again, car will not go. Fluids look fine - oil, no spikes in temp, and no lights. Next day, no fluids under the car. Car accelerates but lunges me then stops going. Car smells bad, smoke.. go to check the fluids and NO OIL in the car out of no where. Infiniti tows it and it sounded like it was going to blow up. Also, a tink tink tink sound started out of no where. This is dangerous as the vehicle could had started on fire. I still dont know what is going on as Inf. has the car right now. This is a major safety hazard as I found a LOT of reports on this happening to others with this specific model and year. I had NO issues like this until Inf replaced the turbo.. NONE!Read more
