Upon starting the vehicle, the electronic dashboard comes on, declares “Reduced Driver Assistance” then about 15 seconds later, the entire dashboard goes dark and won’t come back on until the car has been shut down for several minutes. Less than a week later, the check engine light came back on and diagnostics showed a "misfire" on the same coil. One dealership said it was an electric power steering rack and they refuse to fix for free, even though Honda put out a recall for this same issue in 2023-2024 Honda civics. Under the lemon law act, Honda is required to fix repairs if it is a manufacturing defect. This sticky wheel issue is not a owner or driver's fault. This is a manufacturing defect that I was quoted to pay $3,760.72 to fix. The other Honda dealership said that it was a manufacturing defect in the steering gearbox and that the service representative would contact a Honda Representative to discuss the repair. When the service dealership representative called me back, they said the Honda representative would not cover the cost. I am very frustrated as I see many other 2018 Honda owners having the same issue, this is manufacturing defect, and Honda has refused to put out a recall.Read more

Dealership said this was just a software issue even though there were errors related to high voltage, after 3 days, dealership simply updated the software and cleared all the issue and related the car stating that everything fixed. I have attached the service appointment letter for this issue. It looks like they wanted me to cover the 12 months after delivery so that they can be safe with lemon law, and it proved true with next incident. After the 3 months, a terrific incident happened on [XXX] Mileage:10,561. I was taking my [XXX] daughter for a doctor’s appointment along with my [XXX} daughter and my wife. It was a short trip less than 5 miles from my home. While in the state highway, while driving ,all of a sudden the car lost all of its power car had 12 miles of electric range and 227 miles of gas range, I have photo proof from this time either from electric motor and from the gasoline engine and stalled and stopped in the middle of the road with the EXACT SAME problem on “drive train error” mentioned above serviced on 07/22/2024. The low beam headlights are not bright enough for safe driving in normal weather. They register as not on. The angle and possibly the material of the windshield catches a glare/reflection of the dash that heavily affects visibility for the driver. My car is equipped with the 2.4L ecotec engine and has insane levels of oil consumption. Since my last oil change 2000miles ago I've added 5 quarts of oil. Front wheels are defective confirmed by certified GM dealership which causes unsafe operation of vehicle. Even though wheels are in pristine condition GM will not cover replacement wheels under their warranty. I spoke with GM about the service bulletins they put out regarding the 2020&2021 castings issues with those wheels causing the same complaints however GM still won’t cover their apparent m
... anufacturer’s issues with faulty wheel castings. Installing replacement OEM wheels from GM still will cause a significant safety issue with the vehicles irregular wear if tires and steering issues with these oblong wheels. No warning system notifications were prompted by the vehicle just a significant front end vibration also verified by GM corvette technician. Technician video taped wheels on a wheel balancing machine where it is visually apparent they are oblong. Purchasing aftermarket forged wheels that come with a full warranty instead of using the OEM GM wheels which are still clearly defective and will cause safety issues to include a possible loss of life with this issue they won’t even look into or take responsibility. Also rear brakes made a thumping noise after washing vehicle and parking it with the emergency brake set. Vehicle was looked at by corvette technician in conjunction with above stated wheel issue. GM corrected issue by tech driving vehicle for unspecified amount of time and called it repaired under their guidelines. No replacement of rotor, brake pads, calipers or any other part associated with this issue stated by customer service representative. I was told to not use the emergency brake or problem could arise again. I insisted that there is an issue with the braking system and wanted replacement parts installed under the manufacturers warranty but was denied and told No issue exists. EBrake is provided on vehicles as a safety mechanism and there is a significant problem with this system on this vehicle that GM won’t take responsibility!Read more
