... t recent service report from Audi Bethesda (Repair Order [XXX], dated May 9, 2025), it was discovered that the incorrect brake pad sensor had previously been installed and that connectors were not properly secured. Additionally, the repair team found further issues with the ABS sensor and rear brake pad sensors—indicating an ongoing pattern of misdiagnosis and improper installation by authorized service providers. More concerning is the failure of the vehicle’s fuel system, including the fuel pump and filter, which were replaced at considerable expense. According to the repair documentation, there were still unresolved low fuel pressure faults present even after parts replacement. The technicians cited potential metal contamination in the fuel meter valve (N290), which could require full fuel system replacement—an unacceptable situation for a vehicle that has already undergone such costly repairs. Brakes were not functioning properly. Nearly got into an accident because of the increased stopping distance. I was driving on the highway pressed the brakes when a car cut in front of me. Called Ford Corporate and they indicated that my vehicle was not covered under this customer service program, even though it was built at the same facility during the same time that this customer service program was supposed to cover. I find it very concerning that Ford has not addressed this issue in a more widespread proactive manner. Clearly my vehicle has the same issue as others that were covered. Getting reimbursed for the cost of this would be nice, but my main concern is that this is a major safety issue that has not been addressed properly and people could get seriously hurt.Read more

After Avis Ford replaced my seatbelt on the driver’s side, my vehicle began to rattle from underneath the same area and in the front. The seatbelt side was serviced twice, and now the car feels unsafe. The dealership refused to re-inspect and told me to fix it out of pocket. Finally 2 weeks ago auto repair shop confirmed engine faulty took pictures of white ash on engine components and advised to tow car to dealership re: extended recall on these engines. Dealership states the car now needs a catalytic converter; however this is a direct result of oil deposits in the exhaust that damage the catalytic converter. We have been getting the runaround from the dealership that says no engine codes come up but when the car is driven the white smoke and rattling of the engine is apparent.Read more

Chevy has refused to offer assistance with Towing the vehicle to a dealership when the cluster stops working and encourages me to drive a vehicle that is not operational. Date: [XXX] Subject: Immediate Safety Concern – 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe – Acceleration Failure Dear Jeep Customer Care, I am the owner of a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe, VIN [XXX] , with approximately 50,000 miles. I am writing to report a critical and potentially fatal safety defect that occurred multiple times on [XXX], most notably at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX] in Oregon.
... On multiple occasions, when attempting to accelerate from a full stop into an intersection with cross traffic traveling at 55 mph or more, the vehicle failed to respond to throttle input. Instead of accelerating, the Jeep simply rolled slowly into the intersection despite my foot fully depressing the accelerator pedal. This placed me at immediate risk of being struck broadside by oncoming vehicles at high speed, which could have resulted in catastrophic injury or death. The check engine light was on since [XXX] and my husband drove the Jeep to Lithia Chrysler Dodge of Bend (Oregon) on June 4th, 2025, 12 pm. They ran a computer test and told my husband that there was a recall on the battery but that we could still drive the car, and it was safe but not to charge the car (we followed instructions). We couldn’t even secure a vehicle appointment until July 2nd, 2025. How do you not prioritize a potentially critical situation? This defect is entirely unacceptable and renders the vehicle unsafe for operation. I will not drive the vehicle further due to the danger involved. Given the severity of this defect, I request: •Immediate investigation by Jeep/FCA engineering and technical teams. •Safe transport (towing) of the vehicle to an authorized service center at Jeep’s expense. •Full documentation of the inspection, diagnosis, and resolution of this issue. •Confirmation of whether this issue has been reported in other 4xe vehicles or constitutes part of a larger safety defect investigation. The side rails that come out when door is opened to assist with getting inside the truck does not work properly. It has come out and will not go back in. The door is closed and I have to drive the truck with the rails hanging down. That is a hazard.

We have had Multiple I-Sense(safety system).It will shutdown whwnever it feels like it no matter the weather.We have had at Mazda 7 times and they have applied several programming updates withouit success. We have also have Apple wireless airplay for directions and phone failure 100's of times and have had it Mazda fro the same 7 times to fix to no avail

5 waning lights on : Adaptive Cruise Control , Lane Departure Warning , Lane Keeping Assistance , front light, and the emergency braking . Service crew at Acura Dealer told me that the front multipurpose camera has internal error. It is very dangerous since all these functions must be fixed before I can drive it on road.

What happened: Before the engine began smoking, I experienced several electrical and functional issues. The cigarette lighter socket and USB ports stopped working completely. At one point, the windshield washer fluid system also stopped working and later started functioning again without repair. ... expectedly shifted into park on its own. This happened about 2–3 times and made it unsafe to accelerate when traffic resumed. Eventually, the engine began emitting smoke during normal use. There were no warning lights or error messages beforehand. This issue appears connected to the current coolant pump recall, but the manufacturer has stated that no remedy is available. Out of concern for my safety and potential risk to others, I have stopped driving the vehicle. Because the issue remains unresolved, the car has become undrivable and is now affecting my ability to work and manage basic transportation needs.Read more
