This should be addressed by Ford TSB 24-2101 but again, they did nothing and claim there is nothing wrong with my truck. I have had a fluid replacement and filter replacement with no issues noted, no metal parts, no burnt smell or burnt fluid. Today I came across Ford TSB 24-2184 where they acknowledge that there is an issue with the calibration and controls sensitivity and that replacement of catalytic converters may be necessary. Ford never did any of this. The recall on my truck, which was reprogramming of my PCM also leads to dirty and fouling of the catalytic converter. I have spent over $3000 so far to fix Fords mistakes and not only in nothing fixed, I still have the exact same issues. When i take it to Ford, all the do is clear the codes and then the codes come back on before I get home. So Ford is aware of the issues, knows about the issue and yet will do nothing to fix it.Read more

... otherwise, I may not have been able to safely maneuver or exit traffic. This could have easily led to a catastrophic crash. I was barely able to keep control of the vehicle and managed to pull over onto the shoulder. A few days before this incident, I noticed a brief steering warning, but the system reset on its own. After the highway event, I had the vehicle scanned and received the following diagnostic codes: U2011:00-49 and U3000, indicating a Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) failure. This is the same exact failure that led to Recall 14S06 for 2011–2013 Ford Explorers, but my 2014 model is not currently included — despite having the same EPS system and failure pattern. The component is still in the vehicle and available for inspection. I have not yet had it inspected by a Ford dealer or a certified mechanic but intend to do so. I am submitting this complaint to request an investigation and to express my deep concern for the safety of my family and others who may be driving 2014 Explorers with the same defective system. I had to ask strangers for help at times, locked out of my car on the side of the street, in parking lots, driving to Auto Zone after a complete trickle charge didn't work bc battery is so drained. During this drive, my cars safety features wouldn't work correctly, everything blinking and i had to make it to Auto Zone to have to buy a new GSM battery. I feared for my life on that drive. Certainly a safety issue. When I asked Hyundai on numerous occasions, they said there's no way for us to test if the recall fix we did actually is helping the issue. So I had to buy my own DC volt meter. I took that car in 4 times to deal with this issue. Now, after my last visit to Holler Hyundai in Winter Park a few months ago, now my car won't charge at home. I tested it with the 2nd charger. F2 fault code on standard home charger. Red lights on my ChargePoint charger. Car charges fine at DC Supercharger (6 times as expensive). I have told Daytona Hyundai multiple times (General Manager knows me) about how I have taken this in to have this problem fixed on many occasions. The GM said he apologizes, doesn't know why it wasn't fixed, they were unprofessional aside from him making many mistakes. The original dealer i bought it from was a bad experience and I do not trust them at all and would not buy from them ever again. In 2019, my car suddenly began to leak engine coolant. A low engine coolant signal alarmed, the car started to smoke, and then was un-usable. I took it to a Ford dealership, they ran some diagnostics, and determined that the issue was related to a known recall. They repaired the issue and for 5 years, things seemed ok. This April, the engine coolant warning came back on and the car shut down. I in
... spected the engine coolant revisor and it was extremely low and the check engine light came on. I took the car in to be inspected and it was noted that the hoses and gaskets were corroded. The hoses and gaskets were replaced and that seemed to resolve all of the alarms and check engine light, but weeks later, the low engine coolant light came back on. This week the same Ford dealership determined that there was an issue with the water pump and that it needed to be replaced. I wondered if anyone else with a Ford Fusion experienced water pump issues and there seem to be two class action lawsuits against Ford siting several vehicle models with faulty water pumps. The steering wheel was also unresponsive during the unexpected acceleration. After the crash, the car shut itself down and would not restart. The crash caused injury to my neck, and it was a miracle that no one was behind me at the normally very busy parking lot. The sudden acceleration and loss of control over the car was terrifying. This is the 5th time my cat suddenly brakes in the middle of traffic with no obstruction. I keep taking it to the dealership and they drive it for 1 mile and give it back. I am writing you today because my ford focus with transmission DPS6,7SPDCT has all the same problems the older models have. Ford has stopped there 10 year 150000 mile warranty on there transmission on all models built after November 5 2015. Mine is January 1 2016 with all same transmission components. And all my warranty is ran out and still having transmission problems.
