The recall involves the virtual cockpit instrument cluster. Audi requires the use of the vehicle’s USB port to complete the update. However, my USB system is not functioning properly. •The Issue: Audi has refused to perform the recall because of the inoperable USB. They have stated that without the USB, they cannot install the update. They are not offering any alternative method or solution to
... ensure that this recall is completed. •Why This is a Concern: A recall is issued because of a safety-related defect. The manufacturer is obligated under federal law to remedy the defect at no cost to the owner. By refusing to provide a solution beyond requiring a functioning USB, Audi is failing its duty to correct a known safety defect. This leaves me driving a vehicle with an unresolved recall. •My Position: It is unreasonable and negligent for Audi to deny responsibility simply because the recall requires a USB port that is not functioning. The recall repair should be performed regardless, whether through replacement of the port, use of alternate diagnostic tools, or another approved method. By refusing to act, Audi is leaving my vehicle unrepaired, unsafe, and in violation of recall compliance obligations. Requested Action: I respectfully request that the NHTSA investigate Audi’s handling of this recall and require them to provide an effective remedy at no cost to me, in accordance with federal safety recall requirements.Read more

Purchased this vehicle in June 17 2025 from a used car dealer, as i was driving from time to time, i noticed that the vehecle would hesatate, and at times would stall, i had the spark plugs and coild replaced along with a new high pressure fuel pump, it still hesatates when pulling out into traffic, from a stop, this places the vehicle in a very dangerous position in that it can be broadsided, or
... another form of collision with on comming traffic, I looked on line on various sites and there are quite a number of kias with this issue, some contacted the mfg and were told that it is withing the 8 speed transmission, something about the servers inside it, this appears to be an issue with several year models, and the mfg does not repair or replace the defective part, so i am quite sure they are awar of it, i am not aware of any loss of life for this priblem, i have also seen that by placing the selective system out of eco, economy or comfort mode into ( sport ) mode that it does not do it as often, but at time does, this mode also has a determental effect on millage. i am sure that many KIS SORENTO owners have the same issue and shoudl be fixed under a nationwide recall, ASAP before anyone is hurt or killed like stalling out when pulling out into highway traffic.Read more

... ond issue: When Valve body was replaced on the vehicle, the service manager of the dealership test drove the vehicle with me in the passenger seat on the highway. The vehicle was still not shifting or accelerating correctly even after the valve body replacement. The vehicle began to shake, jerk and rumble on the test drive. The vehicle drove worse. The service manager and I took the vehicle back to the dealership and he found that two of the wheels, on the passenger side, are now bent. That is how the bent wheels were discovered. Not from inspection. Previous multipoint inspection and diagnosis shows the wheels were not bent before I brought the car into the dealership for mechanical work. I can attest to the fact that my wheels were not bent before service and this obvious shaking of the car was not previously existent. The dealership denies liability for this issue and is now refusing to replace the wheels after I have offered to pay. Dealership service manager told me it was safe to drive the vehicle with two bent wheels and I strongly disagree with that statement and so has my insurance company. It is very questionable as to why the service manager would make such a statement. The dealership told me to call other GM dealerships to have the wheels replaced. They refused to do the work as well. I am seeking the proper resolution in this situation.Read more

The infotainment head unit system and screen with the backup camera is completely malfunctioning. The extreme glitchiness and phantom touches/noises are just as a distraction and safety concern as driving while using a cellphone which is against the law. The Subaru dealership has inspected the head unit and declared the failure that was part of a now expired warranty extension. The failures came without warning; however the glitches have gotten more frequent and worse over time.Read more

What happened? While driving my 2015 Tesla Model S, the main touchscreen (MCU) began intermittently going black, disabling access to essential vehicle controls, navigation, climate settings, and rear-view camera display. At times when the MCU was functioning, the rear-view camera feed would still display a black screen upon shifting into Reverse, leaving me without any rear visibility. Component
... or system that failed: Media Control Unit (MCU1) / eMMC memory failure Rear-view camera and/or associated wiring harness Safety risk: The intermittent blackouts of the MCU and loss of rear camera feed created significant safety hazards, especially when reversing or attempting to adjust driving settings while in motion. The loss of rear visibility increased the risk of collision with pedestrians, cyclists, or obstacles. The MCU failure also limited access to defrost/defog controls and turn signal audio feedback. Problem reproduction and confirmation: Tesla Service has confirmed both the MCU1 hardware failure and the rear-view camera malfunction. The problems occurred repeatedly before being inspected. Inspection: The vehicle has been inspected by Tesla Service Center technicians, who diagnosed both the failing MCU1 and the defective rear-view camera. Warning messages or symptoms prior to failure: For MCU: slow system performance, frozen screen, then intermittent complete blackouts while driving. For rear-view camera: black or distorted camera feed when in Reverse, even when the MCU display was otherwise operational. These issues began occurring in June 2025 and became progressively worse until Tesla inspection on July 6, 2025.Read more

On [XXX], after servicing my vehicle in June of 2025 for an oil change at a local Wilson Nissan dealership in Logan, Utah (84321)- I recieved an email from the dealership alerting me "Important Notice for your Nissan" and stating in the body of the message "According to our records, your Nissan has 1 recall(s)". During that oil change and the vehicle inspection, a Nissan tech pulled me back and
... showed me a visible hole behind the wheel area of my car. He pointed out that it was something "I should get looked at," and I asked him why. He said it could cause potential risk such as the wheel falling off, and that it was not safe. I was very appreciative of his pointing this out, as no one ever had before, and I did not know there was a hole there since I never looked behind my wheel nor had I ever seen my car on a lift before. Between the June 2025 oil change at the Nissan Dealership and the July 8, 2025, email from the dealership about the recall, I asked a separate mechanic friend to look at it at my home, and they also agreed that this was "very dangerous" and advised me to quit driving the car. I then looked into what recalls existed on my vehicle, per the email notice, and was shocked to see that the exact issue my 1998 pathfinder had was what was described in the bulletin, down to the very detail. After discovering that, I promptly called Nissan Consumer Affairs but no one answered. I then went to the dealership on July 11th, 2025, and met with the manager. He gave me his card, and I told him I would email him. I then emailed him that day and cc'd Nissan Owner Services re: NHSTA Campaign Number 11V244000 and a request for them to buy back the car as it was in non-sellable and non-repairable condition per their recall bulletin.
