Car was taken in for service for a water pump recall. When I receive the car back there is a radiator photo on the dashboard as if there is low coolant. After returning the car to BMW they are stating that the water pump part that was fixed has nothing to do with why there is now a coolant leak from the back of the radiator. The fuel leak is coming from the fuel pump.

This Technical Service Bulletin is known to have downstream impacts on emissions systems if the root cause is not fully corrected. Less than a month later, on September 8, 2025, at 135,101 miles, the vehicle triggered a second emissions code, P0420 (“Bank 1 Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold”). Schaumburg Honda informed me that both catalytic converters had now failed and quoted over $5,800 in replacement costs. This sequence of events strongly suggests a long-term emissions defect potentially caused by unresolved impacts from TSB 20-100. American Honda denied goodwill assistance based on mileage, despite the clear connection to prior manufacturer-directed service. I have purchased several vehicles from this dealer over the years and have maintained all service through authorized Honda service centers. Low compression on cylinder 3 and 4 and the car only has 40,000 miles on it. It randomly will not start and will need a jump start to get going. My safety has been put at risk due to not being able to start the car while in unfamiliar locations. I have had fhe battery and alternator checked and both came back with no issue. No symptoms. Just the issue of not starting even after driving around all day. My 2020 Kia Telluride, the oil housing unit started leaking earlier this year and was replaced it was low on oil. The oil light never came on.after that it started consuming oil. I had absolutely no control of the vehicle. Yes, I was the one driving. I could not brake and the Palisade continue to roll past the stop sign onto Highway 98 with on coming traffic. I couldn't even steer the car because its as though the car had no power. It was totally dead. With my foot pressed hard on the brakes that still did not work I tried to start the car and then it came on. My wife has told me that she experienced this issue at least six times passing this same road and others similar to it. This was the first time I experienced it and we were lucky we were not hit by oncoming traffic. Again, no brakes, no steering control. We were traveling at a slow speed as we were approaching the stop sign on that road with the metal grate, maybe 5 mph or less, but as soon as we went over the grates...all control of the Palisade was lost. Driving or sitting in a vehicle without functional air conditioning in such heat places both the driver and passengers at risk of heat exhaustion, dehydration, or heat stroke, particularly for children. It is unacceptable for a brand-new vehicle at this price point to experience such a critical failure so early. The lack of timely support from Tesla’s service department further compounds the danger. I purchased this vehicle in March 2021 and noticed the issue with the transmission the first time I operated the vehicle. There is a grinding sound whenever the transmission is placed in third gear. ... no recall on the issue and the vehicle is out of warranty Acura is not required to resolve it. Recently I came across service bulletin 08-018 and noticed where it stated that after warranty expiration a repair may be eligible for goodwill consideration. I called Acura Customer Service, was given case #15843108, and told to acquire a formal diagnosis from an Acura dealership. The diagnosis from Acura of Berlin in Berlin, CT verified that the symptoms were the result of the faulty transmission as described in the TSB. I submitted this information to Acura Customer Service and was informed on September 29, 2025, that due to the age of the vehicle Acura will not compensate me fully or partially for the repair. In my view, although this is an older vehicle, it has low mileage at 102.000 miles and is therefore expected to be on the road for many years. The transmission only grinds at this point, but it may start to pop out of third gear in the future as described in the TSB. I consider this a safety issue in that the transmission popping out of gear unexpectedly would result in some loss of control of the vehicle. I don't expect Acura to fully compensate me for this repair but in light of this problem being a known and documented issue with this vehicle and all the parts for repair are still available I would expect that Acura would stand by its product and offer to contribute to the total cost of this repair.Read more

My car has been having a problem with traction control/service stabilitrak and losing power to the engine since I purchased it. The problem was only occasionally, now it does it EVERYTIME I drive. First it pops up with traction control off message, once that happens it starts to lose power to the engine making the car(heavy car) shudder so bad I cannot drive.
