If you look up the TSB online there are many lawsuits against Ford right now and they still refuse to put out a recall and the new engine costs $9,000. It’s a safety concern because there’s no warning and the engine has potential to catch fire or blow. I read online that if your car has this engine that it is only a matter of time before this happens. Ford tried to blame the issue on me and tell me that I didn’t keep up with maintenance and they completely didn’t tell me about the TSB for the car. I had to go back and read my report to find the TSB. They tried to trick me into buying a new engine even thought this is a faulty engine that they manufactured. I have kept up with maintenance and my car only has 56,000 miles on it and my warranty just expired. No way your engine just blows on a 56,000 mile car. I worry for the safety of others driving this car and many other Fords that have the same engine. A contact that we know at Ford is trying to help us out and cover some of the costs but they refuse to admit that it is a faulty engine that they manufactured. This and many other Fords with this engine are a liability and safety hazard to drive. Odometer reading at the time of the purchase is 45,450 miles. Sale price is $35,777.84. Our BMW 750LI was vocationally used, and mostly garaged, from 2009-2011, in New Jersey; and completely garaged, from 2011-2014, in New Jersey. The vehicle was vocationally used, from 2014-2019, in Chicago. Since 2019, the vehicle has been repaired in shops for electric and transmission failures: 3 years by Bridgeport Transmission (930 W 31st Street, Chicago, IL 60608, Tel 312 842-1887, Richard, the owner), and now already 6 months with Field BMW Northfield (700 Frontage Road, Northfield, IL 60093, Tel: 847-441-5300 x 8396, Chris Goodrich, the service advisor). Except for the electric and transmission issues, our vehicle is in wonderful condition. The body looks new. The current odometer reading is 92,000 miles. The vehicle was towed to Jerry Seiner Cadillac in SLC, UT. I am now without a family vehicle and no loaners were available, according to the service writer. He said that I will likely have to rent a car while I wait for a new engine. He also said that there are two Cadillac's at the dealership that have been waiting on new engines since May 2022. My family cannot bear the expense of this engine failure, the depreciation of the vehicle while it sits waiting for a new engine, the trauma and danger the incident put us through, and the time I am spending to try to resolve the issue. I called the Longmont Kia Fowler dealership in November but they refuse to service the recall for mr in a timely manner. They said it would take 2 months to e

It was towed to Kia Fowler Longmont and they have refused to service it or give me a rental car. First they never did the diagnostic and filed the wrong request for the incorrect recall and then tried to lie about it. I believe my car was covered under the recall that affected EGR module, the issue I am having now could also have been affected by this recall. I see many people online complaining of the coolant leak issue. I had to wait until I got paid to fix it. They are telling me it will cost about $5,000 to repair. Please help.Read more

The torque convert creates a shudder when under light load between 35- 50mph. Initially it was happen sporadically and when it was initially noticed it was always on the same stretch of road which prompt me to think it was the road surface. ... ons. I have had my oil change at the dealership every time since getting the car with 6K miles. At my service 1/7/23 I asked a technician and he said it is a known issue on the torque converter. Toyota Warranty Enhancement program ZE5 is meant to replace for 8 years from first use or 150,000, whichever comes first. Toyota claims they reached out to each owner but in my case I was the second owner and was not notified. Toyota is refusing to honor the repair. My vehicle is had 137552 miles when I was informed of the recall but the issue had been going on for more than a year and had Toyota informed me of the condition at any service time the problem would have been addressed within their arbitrary 8 years. The vehicle is still within the 150,000 and I ask that the NHTSA request that Toyota remove the "whichever come first of the eight years or up to 150,000 miles. They made no effort to inform me and I am concerned that I may loose power while driving or overtaking. Toyota quote $4000 for the repair. Other failing item is the sporadic failure of the BSM. It will light up the BSM on the dash. turn the system on and off a few times and it appear to reset but I am unsure if it is truly working. Front Passenger door actuator does not always lock or unlock. The car will flash the lights and appear locked but the passenger door is not locked. Risk of theft and not knowing if the manual lock holds- I believe a Class action lawsuit exist for the actuatorsRead more

The left rear frame of the vehicle is rusted out where the rear drive line bolts to the body or frame. Causing the rear drive line to have the ability of failing to stay attached to the vehicle. The rear suspension also connects at the same area. Just a huge rotted out hole at the moment.

My engine is being effected by the recall. There is smoke and a burning smell coming from my engine. The Recall was issued March 2 2002 and today is January 11, 2022. My truck is driving worse daily and I can not get it inspected because it will not read my system.

Care has stalled literally 4 times going down the road causing all the dash warning signs to flicker on and off. We almost got hit from behind two different times with my kids in the car. Wouldn't start but was turning over.
