After parking in a safe place, looking at the other tires and saw a damaged tire is on front the driver's side. (Rim is clean) In this case, the dealer who delivered the vehicle to the customer without inspection is also a problem, but it is the fault of the car manufacturer that manufactured the defective vehicle and sold it without quality inspection. We drove to a parking lot, off the freeway. We had the car towed to the nearest Chrysler dealer in Cloquet, MN. During the process to hookup the car, the "Stop Safely..." message again appeared. Quickly slowing down and stopping a car, on a freeway could have caused injury and/or death to my wife and me and possibly other drivers who were following us. If we had not found a safe place to coast to, the van could have become disabled in the traffic lanes. Additionally, we had just had the recall regarding the transmission short completed about 4 days earlier. I do have pictures of the dashboard messages. I was driving in stop-and-go traffic on 5/3/23 and when I released my foot from the brake to gentle accelerate when traffic ahead of me moved, many error messages flashed on the dashboard and the vehicle did not move. The various errors included "travel assist not available", "forward collision warning not available", "vehicle should NOT be towed", "all wheel drive function is currently limited"

I put on my emergency flashers and attempted to move into the right lane and pull over to a safe location (extremely slowly with traffic honking and going around me). I tried turning the car off and turning it back on. Many error messages again, but the car did go a few more feet for me to turn onto a side street and park. At that point the car also started shaking/shuddering. I got out of the vehicle in a safe location and called a tow truck, and the vehicle was taken to the VW dealership. The next day, the service manager told me that they ran the fault codes and started a VW tech ticket and the problem was failure of the rear drive motor (the main motor of the car), which is currently being replaced. I also had a similar incident ~6 months ago where the car suddenly lost power while backing up in a parking garage. After about 10-15 minutes the electronic errors seemed to reset and the car drove normally, but I did take it to the dealership and At that time the control module was replaced. Suddenly losing power while driving is a safety issue because it could easily cause a rear end accident, and it is very difficult to even navigate to a safe location to pull over.Read more

I was driving on the freeway at night. There was a sudden explosion that sounded like a gunshot. I was shocked and afraid. I heard the rain outside, so it seemed like there was a hole in the car. I pulled off the freeway and went to a well lit gas station to inspect the car. The sunroof had exploded upward. Fortunately the fabric sunshade was closed so the shards of glass remained above it. T

I did not go under an overpass from which something could have fallen. There was no rock or meteor in my car—as mentioned, the underlying sunshade was not pierced by a falling object. This occurred suddenly and without warning. Consumers are clearly complaining about this problem but nothing is being done. I will talk to my insurance company and Audi tomorrow as this happened late on a Friday night. Audi should not only eat the cost of this repair but these manufacturers should be forced to fix this problem. It is a horrible sudden sound, shards of glass could have hit me driving if the fabric had been open, and anyone in the back seat could have been injured or blinded by shattered glass. N COMPLETE FAILURE 5: Oil Pressure sensor improper calibration All of these issues have been checked by multiple service centers at Hyundai/Genesis dealers, all of them confirming reluctantly that these issues affect all genesis models similar to mine. The braking issue is the worst, happens suddenly and at a random point in time, and costs thousands to fix. The starter motor failure is very common, and every dealer kept forcing me to replace meaningless parts until the car would no longer start and then they admitted it needed a new starter. The front panel between the sunroof and the windshield has rapidly degrading rubber seals, which will loudly shake and move around while driving. The driveshaft will shudder when the vehicle is cold and it’s sub 80° outside, even if the engine has warmed to operating temp. The oil pressure sensor rapidly breaks just months after the car is brand new, with it on average reading a much lower oil pressure than is actually being applied. All of these issues have been replicated, and only the faulty oil pressure sensor had a warning light, no light for the faulty brakes, starter, or driveshaft issues. The more I research into genesis, the more I realize that these issues happen just a couple thousand miles after new, and affect every single genesis model similar to mine.Read more

Experienced the "Death Wobble" multiple times while on vacation March and April 2023 while towing a 30 foot 5th wheel RV. When traveling interstate highways between 55 and 65 MPH we experienced extreme violent shaking of the front end whenever going over rough pavement. Immediate slowing to below 50 MPH ended the violent shaking. We do not tow the RV at speeds above 65 MPH. We reported the issue

While driving it suddenly showing error as “hybrid system warning, stop and do not drive” and “check brakes” then brakes are not working. I turn off the ignition and start car again, then no error.Went to a local mechanic to check codes he can not find anything.
