Found Truck bed floor rust corrosion in the bed of 2014 tundra. Bed has localized corrosion and rust perforation in specific areas on the top side of the bed. ... d and sealed together. Truck is garage kept and has been undercoated with fluid film annually since I purchased in 2017. Truck only has 45,800 miles on it. Rust is forming in between the seems and spreading under the bed supports and around the bolts that secure the bed to the truck frame. I am concerned that the bed may become loose and fall off while driving down the highway if not replaced or repaired properly. Toyota had a TSB 0101-12 for older model tundras years 2007-2011. The service manager at my local Toyota dealership acknowledges the issue and agrees that the issue is unacceptable. Dealer also stated that this issue is common on generation 3 Tundra vehicles. I am currently working with Toyota Customer care to resolve this safety concern. Local dealer will not authorize repair due to vehicle age even though issue is a manufacturing defect.Read more

The transmission went out at 93,000 miles and we took it in to be repaired under warranty. We were told a new transmission would be installed after being shipped from Detroit MI. This transmission lasted 104 days. We were out of town and my husband drove it to town to get breakfast and the transmission was slipping so bad he almost didn't get back with it. We had to have it towed to the nearest dealer 30 miles away and rent a car to get home. The second remanufactured transmission was installed by GM on 5/23/23 and we picked it up on 5/26/23. Upon driving it home this 2nd transmission was shifting hard. I contacted GM regarding it and was told to take it to be checked out. Once again we were told we just needed to drive it so it cold learn our driving habits. It is unsafe to drive as my husband drove it 4 miles to the grocery store and still at the traffic light he is pressing the gas to go and the vehicle would not move/go forward. He quickly had to put his flasher on and put the vehicle in park to keep from being hit from behind. He was finally able to get the vehicle to move and got home. The vehicle shifts so hard that it feels like you have been hit from behind by another car. GM keeps telling me there is nothing wrong with the vehicle but it is not safe to drive when you dont know if the transmission is gonna go out while you are going 70 mph down the interstate or get rearended becasue yourr vehicle doesn't move when the light turns green.Read more

My car started knocking the day before it failed (Friday, May 26, 2023). This is the only symptom my vehicle had. I took it to Kia the same day and they told me to return on Tuesday morning after the holiday weekend for a diagnosis. It failed Saturday afternoon (May 27, 2023). I have not had it inspected by KIA because they insist that they will not honor the lifetime warranty on my car because of a pre-requisite system update that was not completed. However, once again, the dealership I purchased it from has done a diagnosis and concluded that my engine seized due to faulty manufacturing. I am the second owner of the vehicle. The previous owner received both of the recall notifications in the mail regarding the system update that was required to be covered under the lifetime warranty. I knew nothing of it and Kia refuses to hold themselves liable for an engine that would have inevitably failed — and could’ve cost me my life.Read more

Caused by condensation or leak due to BMW not sealing cupholders and placing KEY SAFETY EQUIPMENT directly under unsealed cupholders. I was traveling on 6/12 at approximately 4:30 AM at around 65 MPH when I received a warning message something to the effect of “emergency system malfunction - vehicle will now stop”. I lost all throttle and the vehicle slowed to a stop. Due to the lack of other vehicles present at the time, I was able to get to the side of the road before the vehicle completely stopped. When I checked the vehicle in, the service advisor stated that it seemed like a serious issue and they would want to get BMW involved directly, but when they had it “ready” for me two days later, all they had done is attempt to pull trouble codes and couldn’t tell me if it was safe to drive or not. They did provide me a loaner at the time and I have attempted to get the dealership to diagnose this issue, but to date they have not provided me with any information about it after having the vehicle for about one week. I contacted BMW North America Customer Relations and explained the problems with the dealership and asked about the mechanical failure and whether I should be concerned/take it to another dealership/etc. They stated that they don’t get involved with the dealership service departments and were generally unhelpful. I stressed that this could be a serious safety issue, but I didn’t get the sense they were interested in getting to the bottom of what happened and whether it was in fact a serious safety issue.Read more

This car is a lemon and should be taken off the road. I've waisted money at the dealership being charged over $300 each time to reprogrammed with no improvement. Bought 3 PCMs at $1200 each. The rear subframe fractured while driving nearly causing a wreck. The rear of the vehicle jerked violently to the right.
