When driving the vehicle at 60mph or faster, the steering wheel will begin to shake uncontrollably and continue to rattle for approximately 30 seconds until the vehicle is reduced speed to about 40mph or less. In addition, while the vehicle is vibrating/shaking, there is a lack of control of the vehicle and puts the driver in a panic state, because it feels like a flat/blown tire at such a high speed. The vehicle was taken into the dealership and they would not check the problem until I paid for an alignment maintenance fee of over $300. Therefore, I proceeded with the costs and they discovered some parts that need to be replaced by the factory. In spite of this, the dealership is holding me responsible for the process of elimination charges because the extended warranty XF1 and recall V41 are not attached to my VIN on this vehicle. However, these recalls are attached to vehicles made on or before November 2020 and my vehicle was built November 2022. I am aware of this issue, because my prior jeep wrangler vehicle was a 2019 and I experienced the same safety issues, and I brought it in and found out about the recall issued and it was repaired for my safety. However, the same safety issues are occurring in my 2023 jeep wrangler with only 25,000 miles on it, but no recalls are attached to my VIN to assist with the problem. Each time the vehicle malfunctions there is no warning lamps, no messages or any other symptoms of the problem prior to failure. The incident first started to appear around 2/2/2024 & continued to happen more frequently with time. I had my vehicle in for a recall from Kia PI2103 for Kia to update the software in my Kia Sportage. Which was to install software that could help my engine from failing. After a month went by Kia determined because I never took the key tag out of the car that I would not be getting a new engine for not meeting the requirements. How they determined this is when a service advisor is making a repair order they use window tags to locate cars. Well, the advisor rather than using a new window tag used the one that was sitting on my seat. I would like Kia to honor their extended coverage and replace my engine at no charge. When using lane trace assist as part of the adaptive cruise control the vehicle will violently pull the steering wheel to the left or right out of the lane. This will occur even with vehicles in the lane it pulls to that are detected by the blind spot monitoring system. Brought to a Toyota dealership and they only verified 4 wheel alignment however this did not correct the issue.

Because we initially thought the car might have been broken into, the police were called and did inspect it. Nothing was stolen and the hole was not big enough for anyone to get into the vehicle. I found this has been a known issue with the HR-V after having it checked on. When I called the dealership this morning (3/9/2024) they stated they didn’t know anything about this issue and did not have any information on it. Dealership kept my vehicle for 4 months because they were out of stock in engines due to the amount of vehicles having the same issue! Wow now the truth unfolds. Shortly after getting the car back the check engine light came on. When reversing the vehicle would buck and seem like it wanted to stall out. Autozone hooked up computer and said torque converter code showed. Autozone said if I just had my engine replaced then the dealership didn’t install it right or broke something during the process. I took it back to Hyundai and they verified converter code and said I needed a new transmission! Prior to the engine issue this car NEVER had problems. The second the engine was replaced everything went wrong! Seems very sketchy. The car started losing power when driving. I was on the highway and it would not accelerate. I was terrified I was going to get hit by all the other vehicles. Cars were dodging me and slamming on breaks and honking horns. I managed to make my way to pull over. Got the transmission replaced like I was told and the converter replaced. Car is still doing the same thing. Hyundai said I needed converter replaced AGAIN two months after they replaced it. Now everyone at Hyundai was fired… wonder why. Now I took it back to Hyundai again, car has not been driven in over a year. Now they are saying no issue with converter it’s the transmission! I purchased a used 2020 Ford Explorer ST. The vehicle is having significant transmission issues and I’ve owned the vehicle for five months. This is absolutely a safety issue as at times, the vehicle stalls while merging into traffic, which could cause an accident. ... contacted Ford and they are refusing to fix the issue and said I am responsible for all costs associated to the problem. The transmission in this particular model (10 Speed) has numerous issues and is the subject of several safety bulletins. Ford is well aware of the problem, but has not provided a remedy for this issue and has not issued a recall. Brand new, this vehicle costs approximately $64,000 and has significant safety issues approximately four years after it was built. I used this vehicle to transport my family, including my infant daughter. I believe Ford is putting my family and other families at risk by refusing to provide assistance. It should be noted, the powertrain warranty for this vehicle is 60,000 miles or five years (whichever is first). My problems began at 62,000 miles and they said there is nothing they can do. I am a police officer and my wife is a nurse. It is embarrassing and shameful that Ford would allow this vehicle to continue with these problems and not provide a remedy, even outside of warranty.Read more
