Thank you for your response and for acknowledging the difficulties I have experienced with my Audi Q6 e-tron. I appreciate your willingness to escalate my concerns and ensure they are properly reviewed. I had originally sent this to you on 9/10/2025 for escalation. As requested, here is the information: •Vehicle VIN: [XXX] •Current Mileage: 1,204 •Date Vehicle Went in for Service (current
... visit): 9/10/2025 (3rd visit) •Consent to Share with Audi Dallas: Yes, you have my full consent to share this information with Audi Dallas for review and coordination. I want to emphasize that the vehicle has now been in the shop three times and is currently still there, meaning it has spent more time in Audi’s possession than in mine. Despite raising my concerns directly with the General Manager of Audi Dallas and the Service Department, there has been a lack of coordination and resolution, which has left me in the position of paying for a vehicle I cannot reliably drive. My expectation is to move beyond repeated repair attempts. I am respectfully requesting that Audi consider a goodwill lease exchange into a Q8 Sport or comparable gas-powered vehicle. While I understand the financing complexities of my original lease, and the Q8’s higher positioning within the lineup, I do not believe it is reasonable to expect me to continue paying for a defective vehicle. “In addition to the goodwill lease exchange I’m requesting, I would also like consideration for the payments I’ve already made on this lease, as well as the $700 I spent customizing the vehicle’s rims. Since the car has spent more time in Audi’s possession than mine, I believe it is fair to have those payments and costs credited toward the new lease.” Traffic light warning, lights I look forward to your confirmation of my case number, assignment of a case manager, and the next steps toward resolution. I am not willing to return to Audi until a new deal for another vehicle has been established. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5Read more

The digital dash screen system continually disconnects from the phone and will not reconnect. It disconnects during 911 calls. It disconnects when navigation is activated. It is very dangerous to drive a car that does this. I’m sure I paid thousands a dollar for this digital dash screen system, and is very frustrating that it does not work yet the Audi dealership and Audi corporate refused to,

I continue to smell a foul, moldy odor almost every time I turn on the air conditioner or heater. It has been a problem since I purchased the vehicle in August of 2024. The Bosch Event Data Recorder (EDR) captured a force of 292 G’s, confirming the severity of the impact. Dash camera footage also documents that the systems failed to intervene before the collision. My primary complaint is not about the airbags but about the malfunction of the lane assist and radar systems and the manufacturer’s refusal to provide the requested reports that would verify the failure. When I requested the radar and lane assist reports from the manufacturer after their inspection, they admitted they would not provide them. Instead, they stated there was no defect. This is unacceptable because the data clearly exists, and withholding it prevents owners from knowing whether these safety systems can be trusted. The fact that these systems failed in a critical moment and the manufacturer is unwilling to disclose the information raises a serious safety concern not just for me, but for all owners of this model. I can provide supporting materials upon request, including dash camera video, the full Bosch crash data report, and correspondence with the manufacturer. On a day with an ambient temperature of 115°F in Las Vegas, Nevada, a critical and dangerous malfunction occurred with my 2023 Audi Q8. With the vehicle's keys in my purse, I placed the purse on the front passenger seat. As I was securing my [XXX] in the rear passenger seat, I closed the rear door. Shockingly, the front passenger door simultaneously closed and locked, trapping my child and the ke
... ys inside the vehicle. The child was immediately at risk of heatstroke due to the extreme temperature. I have since contacted Audi regarding this serious safety defect. Their representative stated that “keys are not meant to be left in the car” and offered to consider a lease termination after a 60-day review. This is an unacceptable response. The vehicle's design should prevent it from locking with the keys inside, particularly with an occupant present. Although the dealership has since "repaired" the locks, when asked, they could not provide any guarantee that this dangerous situation would not reoccur. This lack of assurance means I am currently forced to operate a vehicle with a known and potentially recurring safety flaw. Audi's inaction and the dealership's inability to guarantee a permanent fix mean this vehicle continues to pose an ongoing risk to my family and others. This incident is a clear and severe safety defect that warrants immediate investigation by the NHTSA to prevent similar occurrences and protect other families from this hazardous situation. The water pump on my 2016 Audi A6 has failed multiple times prematurely. The first water pump failed at 36,965 miles in May 2019. That repair was covered under an extended warranty I purchased. The second water pump failed around 83,000 miles in September 2025, and Audi is now quoting me $2,350 out of pocket to replace it. I am now facing a third water pump replacement, which is far earlier than e
... xpected for this type of component. These repeated failures create a significant safety concern, as sudden coolant loss can cause the engine to overheat, potentially leading to engine failure or loss of power while driving. Each problem has been diagnosed and confirmed by an authorized Audi service center. The vehicle was inspected by Audi technicians, and repairs were recommended both times. The repeated failure of this critical component strongly suggests a systemic defect with the water pump design on this model. Despite a recent Audi water pump settlement, my vehicle was excluded, even though it has now experienced two failures and is requiring a third replacement.Read more

Well within the same 30 minutes it happened again entering a carwash. Today I was sitting at a light waiting for it to turn green. Once green, I pushed the accelerator to go and the car would not accelerate. This is the second time in two weeks

Safety System Malfunction message appears on dash. Passenger side air bag goes on and off while driving. Whole system chimes and random messages flashing on screen constantly. At times system doesn’t recognize that I have my drivers side seatbelt buckled. So system keeps chiming cars Stanton. Random messages flash on dash. Traffic jam assist (3 cars symbol) unavailable and image flash on
... dash and does another chime. Vehicle has given random warning beeps when reversing 2 times since these issues started and has done automatic breaking both times as I was trying to reverse. Issues happen randomly and started about 300 miles ago (2 weeks or so) seem to be getting more frequent in past few days. I was trying to check today for open recall and was surprised to not have any for this issue / vehicle. I have not yet called the dealership but plan on doing so this week. This “Safety System Malfunction” and all the chimes, flashes, beeps, screen messages and the automatic vehicle responses is VERY dangerous!!Read more

My 2017 Audi Q7 Prestige 3.0T 6Cyl GAS CREC Supercharged has experienced repeated, serious failures involving the engine, powertrain, and fuel system. - At 72,000 miles, the vehicle developed coolant leaks under the supercharger, a failed water pump, and soaked drive belts. Repairs included multiple hoses, gaskets, and thermostat replacement. -Shortly after, repeated PCV/Oil system failures cause
... d oil leaks, warning lights, and engine shaking. Repairs included PCV system, oil separator, valve cover gasket, breather pipes, and new spark plugs. - at 111,000 miles, the low-pressure fuel pump and relay failed, causing the vehicle to stall and lose all power while driving- a major safety risk. -Most recently, the engine developed a severe misfire in cylinder #4. Compression testing confirmed abnormally low compression (15 psi) due to a suspected cracked valve seat. The vehicle cannot be repaired without a complete engine replacement, quoted at ~$20,000. Safety Impact: - Vehicle has stalled suddenly in traffic due to fuel and engine failures, risking crash or injury. - Coolant and oil leaks present a potential fire hazard. - Loss of power and shaking while driving put my family and others at risk. Inspection/Confirmation: -All problems have been repeatedly confirmed and repaired by an independent Audi specialty service center (S&S Auto Repair). - Numerous invoices document coolant, oil, fuel, and engine failures. Warning Signs: - Multiple dashboard warning lights appeared either right before or during failure, including engine malfunction, coolant loss, and auto start/stop malfunction. These repeated failures at relatively low mileage suggest a design/manufacturing defect with the Audi 3.0T engine platform that compromises both safety and reliability. The issue seems to be widespread amongst other Audi owners with the same 3.0T engine- Per AudiWorld Forums.Read more

I have. two 2024 Audi SQ6 Prestige vehicles. This has now happened on both of these vehicles while driving them. The axle will snap while driving causing the vehicle to stop and no longer move forward or back. This is extremely dangerous because it occurs when driving and can lead to an accident because the car just stops. Luckily in both instances I was not on the highway and was on side roads s
... o there was no accident. After this occurred the second time, I discovered this is being reported by Audi owners of Q5 and SQ5 models however Audi claims there is no issue. This occurred on both of my SQ5s, once in April and Once in September. Both vehicles had low mileage, 15,000 and 22,000 respectively.Read more
