When attempting to accelerate rapidly (I.e. passing gear) the engine immediately begins to lose power. Audi dealer investigated and determined it was “TURBO LAG”. This situation happened multiple times at different speeds. When trying to accelerate to pass another vehicle or to merge onto a freeway are the scariest and most dangerous instances. Taking your foot off the accelerator does allow t

2019 Ford F150 is having a transmission issues. This issue is known by Ford Motor Company which is addressed in a TSB. The issues that are occurring with the CDF drums which prone to bushing failure and causing erratic shifting while driving on highways and residential areas. The problem has been reproduced and confirmed by the local Ford Dealer, but the cost would be between $6000-$7500 so far.
... There were no warning indications prior to the issues. There are known lawsuits in regards to the 10R80 tranmissions and Ford fails to issue a recall on the models with it installed. I was on the highway driving around 65-70 mph when the transmission started to jerk and then bog. This is DEFINITELY a safety risk for any Ford owner and others driving around them.Read more

My 2025 Toyota Sienna is subject to Safety Recall 25TA12 involving suspect welds on second row seat rails. Toyota instructs that the second row seats not be used while the vehicle is in motion. No repair is available and no timeline has been provided. Toyota has not provided a viable interim solution. Toyota coordinated outreach to multiple dealerships, all of which confirmed they cannot provide

Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I began experiencing intermittent electrical and driver assistance system malfunctions. These issues included warning messages, unexpected system behavior, and periods where multiple advanced driver assistance features were unavailable or disabled. The problem first occurred around April 4, 2025, at approximately 665 miles. Since then, the issue has occurred
... intermittently and has been difficult to predict or reliably reproduce. I brought the vehicle to an authorized dealer multiple times for warranty repair. On at least one visit, the dealer was unable to duplicate the concern. On subsequent visits, the dealer performed warranty-related diagnostics and repairs; however, the original issues have not been clearly confirmed as resolved. At times, the vehicle was deemed drivable but not confirmed to be fully repaired. Manufacturer technical assistance (STAR/engineering) has been involved in reviewing data and test results. As of the most recent service visit, the vehicle remains under review, and I do not have confirmation that the root cause has been identified or corrected. The intermittent nature of the malfunction and loss of driver assistance features creates concern for vehicle reliability and safety, especially when the systems fail without warning.Read more

This has happened since purchasing my personal 2006 Mustang GT new in 2006. I also see early S-197 Mustangs (2005—2007) in my shop that cannot be reliably refilled because fuel shoots out of the filler neck, splashes the operator, the side of the Mustang, and puddles on the ground. The defective On-board Refueling and Vapor Recovery (ORVR) system causes high internal fuel tank pressures that w
... ill also cause the filling station pump to cut off and prevent putting fuel in the tank. This creates a fire hazard as the spillage contacts the left hot tail pipe and muffler as well as a puddle of fuel that can be ignited by a spark, cigarette, etc. This problem is in direct violation of the Environmental Protection Agency emission standards that clearly state the operator is “expected to fill the fuel tank without spit back or spillage during the refueling event.” EPA emission regulations also require that service vents, also known as safety and vacuum relief valves, be installed in tanks to prevent excessive pressure or vacuum that can build up “due to tank filling or emptying.” The parts of the Ford ORVR system that contribute to the fuel tank pressure spikes and fuel spills include: 1.Poor fuel filler design. The filler pipe is narrow (5/8” to 3/4”) with a severe an S-bend before it reaches the tank. There is a spring-loaded plug at the top of tank built into the fill neck that closes the fill pipe until fuel pushes the plug down to open the fuel tank. 2.Poor fuel tank design. The saddle style tank has two sections that “saddle bag” over the drive shaft making the opening between the two tanks very narrow and at the top of the tank. 3.Insufficient tank venting system. The capacity of this vent system is not sufficient to vent the fuel tank during refueling. Please see attached file that documents the problem and possible solutions. I also recommend sharing your many complaints on this problem with the EPA as the problem is also in their area.Read more

I am writing regarding a defective transfer case on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee. I took my car in to Firestone as I was having issues with my Heater not blowing hot air and my check engine coming on and off. I have attached a copy of Firestone's estimate of repair. Firestone informed me that my VIN was not part of the recall. Although my vehicle's VIN is not currently included in the existing recall
... , I am experiencing the same failure that has been widely reported and documented for this model and model year. My Jeep is only eight years old, and a transfer case should not fall under normal use at this age. This issue is a known and recurring problem with 2017 Jeep Cherokees, and the failure of such a major drivetrain component raises serious concerns about the reliability and safety of the vehicle. Given that this defect is well know and consistent with issues cover under the recall, I am requesting that my VIN be reviewed and considered for inclusion. I also ask that Jeep provide assistance or goodwill coverage for the repair, as this failure is not consistent with reasonable expectations for durability. I have been a loyal Jeep owner and chose this vehicle based on its reputation. I hope Jeep will stand behind its product and address this issue fairly. Please let me know what additional information or documentation you may need from me to move this review forward. I look forward to you response.Read more

My 2017 Jeep Cherokee rolled away three times in one day while in Park with the Electric Parking Brake engaged. My driveway has no flat area and slopes toward a public road, creating a serious hazard for my family and traffic. The rollaways occurred suddenly with no warning lights. I had to park the Jeep sideways in a snowbank for two weeks to prevent further rollaways, creating added risks for my
... family in winter conditions. The vehicle remains at the dealership. During the first two days of the evaluation, the dealer confirmed brake shoe thickness (4mm), verified the EPB software was current, and found no diagnostic codes. They could not recreate the rollaway or identify a cause. No mechanical or electronic faults were found. FCA communication has been inconsistent. I experienced dropped calls, long holds, contradictory statements, and repeated refusals to provide written documentation of the inspection authorization. FCA said they could not escalate the safety case unless the vehicle was already at the dealership, yet still refused written confirmation of the purpose of the inspection, and I was not willing to bring the vehicle in without documentation. After the evaluation, when I attempted to relay the required findings per the RO instructions, FCA informed me the safety case had already been closed, leaving no record of the defect. FCA said only the rental authorization remained open and they could no longer escalate my case. I then had to re-explain the entire rollaway incident. FCA and the dealer now disagree on whether the RO is open or closed, and FCA has not explained who is responsible for the ongoing loaner or what the next steps are. The defect remains unresolved and the Jeep is unsafe to operate or park at my home.Read more

The vehicle was taken to an authorized Audi dealer in Wayzata BLVD Minneapolis who diagnosed catastrophic internal engine failure and documented metallic debris in the engine oil. Audi replaced the engine with a new long block (warranty repair). However, despite confirmed metal contamination in the oil system, Audi directed the dealer to flush and reuse the turbocharger rather than replace it. The turbocharger is supplied by engine oil and may retain embedded metal in its bearing assembly, creating an ongoing risk of turbo bearing seizure/failure and another sudden loss of power at highway speed. I am reporting this because (1) the vehicle already experienced sudden power loss at highway speed, and (2) the repair decision to reuse a contamination-exposed turbocharger may create continued risk of sudden loss of power and unsafe operation. For a few weeks prior to 12-21-2025, I've experienced minor Jeep "death wobble" (suspension issue) at highway speeds when encountering an irregularity (bump) in the road surface. On 12-21-2025, I experienced moderate Jeep "death wobble" at around 60 mph (several times). On a desert 2 lane highway, I was seriously in danger of running off the road to the right (crashing into rock faces bigger tha
... n the car) or running into oncoming traffic to the left. I was about an hour away from home and was able to reproduce the problem. I found that the issue was minimized if I kept it under 58 mph. Unfortunately, this motivated many drivers to dangerously pass me. The next day, I took it to the local off-road mechanic and they determined it was a worn tie-rod and recommended replacing the tie rod and installing/upgrading the steering stabilizer. From what I have read during my research is that those are band aid approaches to a more serious engineering/design issue with the Jeep Wrangler. I've further learned that Fiat-Chrysler (or the current owner) has continued to address the issue that has been problematic for decades. There are no recalls for my vehicle and the relevant TSBs I could find apply to older models (latest I saw was 2020 JL). However, it's clear the issue has not been resolved on my more current model (2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL). The vehicle is available for your inspection.Read more

The rear electronic child safety lock on my 2019 Audi A6 does not function as intended. When activated, the lock does not reliably engage or disengage, allowing the rear door to be opened from the inside when it should be locked. We only began using the child safety lock after having a baby, at which time the malfunction was discovered. This creates a potential child safety risk, as the rear door
... may be opened from the inside when the child safety lock is expected to prevent this. The vehicle has not been modified, and the issue occurs under normal operating conditions. The dealer inspected the vehicle and advised that the repair would require replacement of the rear door latch/actuator but declined coverage due to the vehicle being out of warranty.Read more

Car is 16 months old and a plug in hybrid. After replacement of the 12 volt battery, the on board charger, and the wiring harness due to complete system failure, I picked up the car from service. Within an hour of having the car back, the dashboard suddenly went blank while I was driving. There was no warning or notice. This presented a safety issue as I was using GPS and relying on directions at

Within days of purchasing the vehicle, multiple warning lights and safety-related alerts appeared, including repeated check engine warnings, an alert stating “Driver Assistance Support Reduced,” and a wrench indicator referencing an auto lighting and wiping system malfunction. While driving, the vehicle felt unstable and would sway side to side, making it difficult to maintain confident contro
... l. The vehicle was brought in for service shortly after purchase due to these concerns and was removed from my possession because of the seriousness of the issues. During the service process, I was informed that the vehicle had previously been involved in an accident and that a critical structural safety component (the front crash bar) was damaged. This damage had not been disclosed prior to purchase. The crash bar is a key part of the vehicle’s body structure designed to absorb impact and protect occupants in a collision. Driving a vehicle with damage to this component posed a potential safety risk. The combination of structural damage, reduced driver assistance alerts, visibility system warnings, and unstable handling raised concerns about crash protection, vehicle control, and overall safety. The issues were identified by the selling dealer during inspection after the vehicle was returned for service and are available for further inspection if requested.Read more
