My family and I were returning home from vacation in another state, and while we were driving on the interstate, an alarm popped up on the DTC stating ruduced engine power. I tried to start slowing down so I could take the next off ramp and could not push the brake pedal in. I had absolutely no brakes trying to slow down from interstate speed. I was able to pull into a gas station parking lot whil

The car has not ran right since we recieved it back. I called them back to let them know and was told the only way I would not have to pay to have it looked at was to bring it back to them. That shop was four and a half hours away from my house. The car was less than twenty miles out of the warranty when it broke down (nine miles to be exact), then they lied on the the paperwork and put the milage after they test drove it.Read more

While I am driving in normal drive when my vehicle is in 6th gear cruising there is a shutter in the transmissionthat happens (like running over rumble strips)and only sixth gear. When I have 4 wheel drive locked in the transmission shutter happens in 3-6th gear and only happens at lower cruising rpms and trying to accelerate when I'm either using the pedal or cruise control. When I am in normal d
... riving mode I have to leave 6th gear unselected so the rpms aren't too low to keep the transmission shutter from happening. Brought to the ford dealership and during the ride along with the tech he admitted he could feel it and could be 1 of 3 things the transmission, the torque converter or the torque converter control module. After picking my truck back up they said since I have no codes and they found a flaw in my rim. And that is what is causing the only sixth gear low rpm transmission shutter. And the shutter doesn't happen during higher rpms even at the same speeds. I have read up on this shutter and everyone was saying the same feeling in there f150s and was a transmission shutter. Don't want my transmission locking up at interstate speeds could cause losing control or causing an accident due to lock upRead more

DreamDrive Pro 2 is extremely dangerous and should have an immediate STOP order for all Lucids. It fails to identify road hazards and take evasive action. At least a dozen times, while accelerating from a complete stop, the car has experienced sudden unintended very hard braking without driver input. Eventually car would drive a short distance then hard brake, slip out of gear, not be able to drive. This was repeated 4 times before finally being able to drive without failure. -Audi inspected, could not reproduce the issue. It occurs very randomly, so it’s difficult to reproduce on demand. -No fault codes were found or stored -Dealer said without being able to reproduce it there was nothing to be done. I asked for TAC case to be opened for assistance. They strongly refused but eventually agreed. Case was opened but immediately rejected (within minutes). Later they said it was rejected for missing info, including location of incidents, which they never asked me for and I could have provided. Sudden random very hard braking and going into park while accelerating, then not being able to drive, with no warnings or fault codes, is a safety hazard. This has happened many times over a year. The high-voltage battery in my two leased Volkswagen ID.4 vehicles are subject to NHTSA recall 26V030 (VW campaign 93EA, Jan 2026) for potential overheating and fire risk due to missing Self-Discharge Detection (SDD) software updates. This can cause thermal propagation even when parked. No failure or fire has happened in my vehicles yet; the battery remains available for inspection. However we do
... have warning lights, messages, range loss, and other electrical symptoms that have appeared before the recall notice. The defect creates a serious safety risk for my family. Both vehicles normally charge indoors in the garage directly under my toddler's bedroom. A fire during charging could endanger my young child and home. Recall guidance requires parking outdoors, no indoor/overnight charging, 80% max charge, and no Level 3 (DC fast) chargers until fixed (remedy starts ~March 2026). These restrictions make safe, practical use impossible: outdoor charging in Philly winter is impractical and risky (damage/theft), and no fast charging limits daily family mobility severely. The issue hasn't been reproduced or inspected by a dealer in my case—it's precautionary based on other vehicles' incidents. No manufacturer, police, or insurance inspection has occurred for my cars. VW denied buyback or relief, saying it's covered under warranty. Combined with prior recalls (door handles, software glitches needing repeated visits), this substantially impairs safe use. The fire risk forces unsustainable charging changes with young kids at home.Read more

Backing into the center of my 2-car garage, half-way into the door, the car slammed on the brakes, displayed a large BRAKE warning and, on the 360 degree image, I saw a red "bar" to the immediate left of the driver's door. I thought I'd hit something, although I was still 20 feet from the back wall and there was at least 6 feet completely open on each side of the car. I pulled forward and it imm
... ediately slammed on the brakes again. I backed up and it slammed on the brakes again. I pulled forward and it slammed on the brakes again. Finally, I was able to nurse the car back, inches at a time. The car had never done that before, even when I parked closer to the shelves, before I cleared out the garage to be able to park in the center. The only thing I could think of was the 1/2 inch thick dried mud track from the left tires when I parked closer to the side. I scraped and swept out the mud and since then I've backed in twice without incident, with yellow bars on the 360 degree display where wire shelving is against both side walls of the garage, as I previously mentioned, about 6 feet away on each side of the car. The collision avoidance system is dangerously too sensitive in this vehicle and what Toyota calls Safety Sense 3.0 is the most UNSAFE system I've ever had the unfortunate opportunity to experience. I'm not alone. I've read numerous same or similar complaints online in Tundra and Corolla Cross discussion boards. I discussed this with the dealer's service manager and he blamed it on cold weather. In my opinion, Toyota should recall ALL vehicles with TSS 3.0 until they can either remove that feature or allow it to be disabled permanently and not require it to be disabled every time the car is started. I dread the thought of this happening while driving with a vehicle following closely behind!!!Read more

The front and rear windshields of my Tesla Model 3 developed long cracks requiring full replacement. For over six months, I have been unable to complete these replacements due to repeated failures in the replacement process. The vehicle and damaged glass are available for inspection upon request. My insurance claim was filed with Esurance, and Safelite AutoGlass, Esurance’s designated auto glas
... s provider, has handled all replacement attempts. During this period, three shipments of glass arrived damaged and two shipments were the incorrect glass for my vehicle, resulting in canceled or rescheduled appointments. Safelite has documentation of these failed attempts. Driving with cracked front and rear windshields puts my safety and the safety of others at risk. The damage impairs visibility, especially in rain or low-light conditions, and compromises windshield integrity, which is critical for vehicle structural support and proper airbag deployment. The rear windshield damage also raises concerns about sudden glass failure while driving. The issue has been reproduced and confirmed multiple times by Safelite AutoGlass, an independent service center. While waiting for service, I personally spoke with several other Tesla Model 3 owners at Safelite locations who reported similar experiences, including multiple failed appointments, incorrect glass, and in some cases incorrect installations requiring return visits. This suggests a broader, systemic issue rather than an isolated incident. The vehicle has been inspected multiple times by Safelite AutoGlass, and the issue is documented through Esurance claim records and follow-up complaints I submitted regarding the prolonged lack of resolution. Tesla has not directly inspected the vehicle. There were no warning lights or system alerts prior to the issue. The problem presented as visible cracks that appeared and progressively worsened, prompting replacement attempts beginning approximately six months ago.Read more

I was driving on a street 5mph and all of a sudden my car surged and led me to curb where i knocked hit a steer din and it veered onto someone’s lawn and hit a huge planter and stopped . Air bags were deployed . I had no control over the car . EDR was preformed and I’m sure it was a throttle surge issue and cause unintended acceleration . The edr shows I was going 5 miles an hour but then says
... pedal was pushed to 100%. While traveling at approximately 4–5 mph during a low-speed maneuver, with light accelerator input, the vehicle unexpectedly surged forward. I did not intend to accelerate. The vehicle rapidly increased speed, left the roadway, struck a street sign and a planter, and the airbags deployed. Event Data Recorder (EDR) data retrieved by the insurer (Mercury Insurance) shows the vehicle traveling at low speed immediately prior to the event, followed by a recorded 100% accelerator pedal position. This data does not reflect my driving intent and appears inconsistent with the low-speed conditions. The EDR documentation notes that accelerator pedal position is sampled asynchronously and reflects values transmitted to the SRS Control Module, not continuous pedal input or driver intent. No brake input was recorded prior to the impact. The sudden acceleration occurred too quickly to react. Mercedes-Benz inspected the vehicle and released only the EDR data, declining to provide further clarification regarding throttle control logic, pedal sensor correlation, or torque command behavior. I am reporting this incident due to concern that low-speed throttle control behavior, software logic, or transmission engagement may result in unintended acceleration without corresponding driver intent, posing a safety risk during parking-lot or low-speed driving conditions.Read more

The fuel pump for the engine is known for failing due to ethanol in the fuel reacting with the bare aluminum. Harley Davidson has recognized this issue with the newer model but has not recalled any of its previous models. This could cause a serious safety risk for the rider or other pedestrians on the roadway as this could cause the bike to suddenly lose all power causing an accident. Many people
... have mentioned this known issue but Harley Davidson still refuses to seal the aluminum tanks or replace the tank with the later model ones that are already sealed. Harley Davidson’s solution for this problem has been to continue replacing the fuel pump with a new one identical to the one that failed at the customers expense. No warning lamps or messages appear when the pump is failing or completely failed occasionally riders have stated they begin hearing a growling or screeching sound from the tank soon before failure. Others have stated that the fuel pump has left them stranded or in a dangerous situation due to the pump failing while on the roadway with no warning. A recall to reseal or replace the tanks on older model years needs to be done to ensure the safety of the rider and others on the roadway.Read more

This complaint concerns failure to provide a remedy for multiple active NHTSA safety recalls, resulting in a vehicle that has been determined unsafe and inoperable. The vehicle is subject to NHTSA Safety Recall 24V-160 involving the house battery relay / contactor. During a January 7, 2026 call between the servicing dealer (Lazy Days) and Jayco / Entegra technical support, the battery system was
... diagnosed as having a stuck contactor with no 12V output. Jayco / Entegra technical guidance instructed the dealer to shut down the battery and specifically advised that the battery should not be turned on or charged. The dealer was further instructed that the coach should remain at the dealer until a replacement could be obtained. As a result of this instruction, the vehicle has been rendered unsafe and inoperable. No manufacturer-directed repair or replacement timeline has been provided. In addition, the vehicle is also subject to NHTSA Safety Recall 24V-312 involving the fuel tank mounting bracket. This recall likewise requires dealer-performed remediation. No repair timeline or remedy has been provided for this recall either. Despite repeated contact with Jayco / Entegra, the manufacturer has stated that the vehicle is out of warranty and has declined to provide a manufacturer-directed remedy, referring the matter to a component supplier. Warranty expiration has been cited despite the existence of active safety recalls and a documented instruction not to operate the vehicle. The vehicle has been left at the dealer with no repair path, no timeline, and no safe method of operation despite active safety recalls. This complaint is submitted due to failure to provide a timely remedy for active NHTSA safety recalls.Read more

Following a rear collision repair at an authorized dealer collision center, multiple ADAS safety systems were not properly calibrated despite insurance payment and shop representations that repairs were complete. WHAT FAILED: Lane Change Assist, Peripheral Camera System, Side Assist, 360-Degree Camera, Front Camera, and Adaptive Cruise Control were either not calibrated or calibrated in timeframe
... s physically incompatible with manufacturer specifications. SAFETY RISK: Driver relies on blind spot monitoring and lane change alerts that may be non-functional or inaccurate. Without proper calibration, these systems may fail to detect adjacent vehicles, provide false alerts, or create blind spots in camera coverage, increasing collision risk during lane changes and merging. DEALER CONFIRMATION: Yes. Shop manager provided diagnostic logs as proof of calibration. Analysis shows 360-degree camera calibration executed in 18 seconds versus 40-60 minute industry standard, and zero calibration events logged for Lane Change Assist and Peripheral Camera systems explicitly claimed as completed. INSURANCE INSPECTION: Insurance company explicitly DENIED Lane Change Assist and Peripheral Camera calibrations on estimate. Shop admitted in writing these items were declined and blamed insurance for non-payment. No OEM calibration logs produced despite multiple written requests. WARNING SYMPTOMS: Systems may appear normal on diagnostic scan with no active fault codes, but this does not prove calibration was performed to OEM tolerances. Physical calibration requires target board positioning, laser alignment, and environmental verification that cannot be completed in documented timeframes. PATTERN CONCERN: This may represent a systemic issue where insurers deny ADAS calibrations, shops skip calibrations due to non-payment, vehicles are released as complete, and consumers unknowingly operate vehicles with compromised safety systems. Vehicle and documentation available for inspection.Read more

My son was driving the car the Service Brake Assist message popped up on the screen, and the brake pedal went stiff. He was coming to a red light and had to swerve to the right to avoid hitting the cars in front of him as he had no brakes at this point. We had the vehicle towed to our house, had the vehicle looked at by our mechanic. The Diagnosis was the brake vacuum pump, part number #12684050 e
... xploded. It is available for inspection, at this point we don't know if the metal pieces have fallen into the engine compartments and we would rather not replace the engine as well. We had contacted the Local Chevy Service dept. who said we can pay $1500.00 to for them to take apart the top of the engine to look for broken pieces, but the best option is to trade it in as soon as possible.Read more

2017 Hyundai Tucson SE vehicle mileage approx. 54,000 miles Was driving on a Highway doing approx. 65-70mph within 30 minutes of the 1hr and 1/2 drive I had lost complete POWER STEERING. Wheel stiffened up and was scary and difficult to lane change to a slower lane or attempt to pull over at 11:00PM due too safety and could not pull over for over an 1 hour until I was home safely. Had to hold th
... e wheel tightly for an hour. It was very difficult to turn and enter my double wide driveway and took 3 times to get car straight enough and pull in without Power Steering. Turned vehicle off and I had looked into possible issues with the (EPS) Electric Power Steering and read possible loss of Power Steering check MDPS Fuse in vehicle Interior Fuse Panel for blown fuse and all was Fine with that Fuse.. Then checked MDPS Fuse Panel in engine compartment near battery and found no issue on the long circuit fuse for the MDPS. After researching 2017 Tucson EPS issues I ran a test by Turning Key on and turn Wheel all the way too Right and leave it there for a minute then turn wheel all the way too the Left and leave there for a minute ,then turn steering wheel till wheels are straight and turn key off. Then start car and see if Power Steering comes back when turning steering wheel in which it did but I'm still skeptical if that was the Fix. Hyundai Car dealership wants to charge me $250 too run tests and diagnostics with computer system. Why should I have to pay for this since there have been numerous recalls on 2017 Tucson and the failure rate on some of the Electronics and Safety features and Engine issues and was originally in for a New Paint job for the Recall. And I just received a notification for the Anti-Theft Ignition Cylinder Protector hardware too be installed Free of charge for the ignition and hardware to be added. I have read and seen MDPS assembly issues causing sudden loss of Steering Assist on many of the sites and on these internet Hyundai Blog complaints.Read more

There is a transmission shudder when traveling around 30-40 MPH as well as sporadically when increasing speed. Recently, there is a very hard shift/jolt when transmission is shifting from 2nd to 3rd. The issue is caused by a combination of a faulty torque converter and a software glitch in the engine control module (ECM). This is a safety hazard, and I contacted Toyota dealership in Vineland who t
... old me that they can't do anything. However, to fix the problem that Toyota issued the recall themselves, Toyota dealers need to replace to the torque converter and update the ECM software. I am reaching out to the NHTSA because this is a safety hazard, and I hope you are able to help me.Read more
