My 2018 Honda Accord EX is currently having FUEL injector problems at 41,000 miles. Honda is trying to tell me that FUEL injectors do NOT get affected by the recalled FUEL pump. This is very silly because the FUEL pump and FUEL injectors work together. They want $1,800 to replace the FUEL injectors at Honda. I already completed the recall on the FUEL pump, and afterward, they told me my injector

9/17 driving home. Light rain. Put the truck in slippery mode prior to starting my drive. Truck was actually slipping and seemed to be shutting off and on. Prior to me being able to pull off to the side of the road, the truck stalled and spinned out across five lanes slamming into the barrier.

At times it jerks or hesitates when accelerating from a stop, and while climbing a hill it suddenly lost power, displayed a Service Electronic Throttle warning, and went into limp mode. This created a risk of being unable to accelerate safely in traffic, increasing the chance of being rear-ended or unable to merge. 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes. I described the symptoms to Alfa Romeo Service dept, and they told me it is related to the recall and that other customers have reported the same symptoms and warning lights. However, they advised that there is currently no remedy available, and I must wait for the fix before scheduling an appointment. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Not yet. Alfa Romeo advised that no remedy is available at this time, so the vehicle has not been formally inspected by the dealer or manufacturer. Advised not to drive long distances until fix determined. 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? Yes. Check Engine Light and Service Electronic Throttle came on as car lost power and entered limp mode with code P0299. Alfa Romeo Service Dept tech said these warnings match the recall. Rep said this shows how loss of motive power from fuel starvation manifests electronically & ECU interprets fuel starvation as underboost, which then triggers limp mode.Read more

There were several code error messages describing a fuel pump issue that also creates other engine components to fail. For my concern of the safety my life, I paid to tow my vehicle directly to the car dealership service department to be inspected and am currently waiting to be contacted of their findings. ... des had to be erased. I took pictures of the error codes prior to erasing and provided them to the service department for their review. Warning lamps and messages flashed simultaneously when my vehicle ceased to function. While driving my 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio September 16, 2025, the engine ceased to function under legal normal driving conditions for no apparent reason. The engine immediately turned itself off, and both the steering wheel and vehicle was locked in place (unable to move). This event jeopardized me, and other affected drivers' lives. It was only due to the quick reaction of defensive driving attentiveness that prevented the potential collision of multiple vehicles including loss of life/lives. I had taken my vehicle to the same service department previously in November 2024 for the exact same type of issue (ceased vehicle, locked in place steering wheel and vehicle). However, because error messages were erased, the service department would not be able to know what steps were needed to fix the problem and that I should bring back my vehicle with error codes intact should this occur again. I have this in writing on my invoice. No police report involved as no physical accident/damage occurred, and everyone who was involved including myself left without further incident, and very traumatized.Read more

... I went to open the driver's side door, the handles would not open. I tried all other door handles and all were locked. Luckily, I had not shut the door next to my child's car seat yet, otherwise it would've locked my child inside the vehicle. I opened a ticket with Tesla and they sent a technician out. He said the low voltage battery needed to be replaced and when this happens all electric door handles will be unresponsive and locked. However, the vehicle never showed any warning or notification leading up to this. He said when the 12V battery fails, the only way to unlock the unresponsive doors is to use the manual release inside the car or jump the 12V battery under the frunk (assuming you have the right jumping cables outside of the car). The Tesla technician said it is a flaw in the Model Y design and he said I would've had to break a window to get my child out if they are not old enough to locate and release the manual door release inside the vehicle. This poses a huge safety risk to parents with young children. I really hope Tesla implements another emergency way to release the doors from outside the vehicle to avoid young children from being locked inside. While driving on the highway, my 2010 Land Rover Discovery Sport stalled at 30 miles mph in traffic. This is the 3rd time same issue happened in 12 months. 3/2024 driving on highway car would not go over 30 mph and felt like it would stall. Had car towed to dealership for service. Service could not recreate issue, gave car back after 4 weeks. as soon as I got on the highway the car stalled.

Updated PCM software, cleared codes. turbo boost bar reaches approx 1 bar and then drops off. heard air leak when boost lost. found intake air duct from throttle body to intercooler disconnected due to broken hose clamp. replaced clamp, refit duct, cleared codes. service notes say road tested but the mileage in on 5/16 was the same as the mileage out on 6/13/24. We are submitting this formal complaint regarding a recurring and unresolved issue with the HVAC (air conditioning) system in our 2024 Audi Q3 Quattro S Line. Since February 2024, we have consistently experienced failures in the climate control system, particularly after exposure to rainy conditions. Specifically: 1. The front air vents begin blowing warm air at random intervals, even when set to
... cool. 2. The rear vents completely shut off airflow during these instances. 3. This occurs most frequently during or after rain but now occurs in dry weather as well. We believe this issue compromises the safety and comfort of the vehicle's cabin environment. The manufacturer, Audi (Volkswagen Group of America), asserts this behavior is normal per FMVSS 103 regulations and the "cabin capacity requirements" of the Q3. Specifically stated in Audi Corp. email from March 6, 2025: “From the NHTSA homepage using the search bar>search FMVSS>Select NHTSA Statutes, Regulations, Authorities and FMVSS>Select FVMSS under Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards>Scroll down or utilize the table of contents to locate 571.103. Dimensions for the interior cargo space in your 2024 Audi Q3. - Headroom (Front/Rear): 39.6/37.6 in., Legroom (Front/Rear) 40/36.1 in., Cargo volume behind first row: 48 cu.-ft., Cargo volume behind second row: 23.7 cu.-ft” However, a review of FMVSS 103 (Windshield Defrosting and Defogging Systems) reveals no explicit requirement that mandates the rear vents be disabled during humidity control. Additionally, no documentation has been provided by Audi to substantiate this claim. This issue potentially violates FMVSS 103's intent, which is to ensure adequate visibility and cabin comfort. Yvonne instructed me to contact Corporate KIA, report the case, receive a claim # then contact her to schedule an appointment for the repair. On June 3, 2025 KIA reopened case number [XXX] originally reported on June 11, 2024. No claim # issues, no repairs made. Safety Concern: The paint damage has affected both sides of the adhesive inside the glass securing the windshield. This is a nation wide problem. Owners have documented and continue to keep reporting this problem to KIA, NHTSA, AutoLine and BBB. Several class-action lawsuits have been filed against KIA in USA and Canada. This is also happening to Toyota, Honda & Subaru. It’s basically all the car manufacturers who are using this pearl white paint. The amount of Optima owners dealing with the massive rapidly spreading paint defect to their vehicle is over whelming. Let me start by stating that this incident is just one of many occurrences that has happened to me with this vehicle. I was driving down a straight highway that was pretty heavily congested with traffic of other vehicles, when all of a sudden I felt a loss of power with the vehicle and some error codes came up on the dashboard indicating the engine needed to be serviced, start & stop was unavailab
... le, and to service electronic throttle control. I also noticed that the vehicle driving mode had switched by itself from Dynamic to Natural mode. After a few short seconds, I felt the RPMs drop completely to zero and I felt a loss of the power steering as well because the engine had shut down completely in the middle of highway traffic. As I was driving on the left lane of a two lane highway, I had to immediately pull over to the right side shoulder, nearly being hit by vehicles behind me as the Alfa Romeo Giulia stalled and immediately cut my speed. I was parked on the right shoulder of the highway with my hazard lights on and put the vehicle into Park. When I tried to restart the engine, it just cranked over for a long time before finally turning on. The same error codes popped up on the dashboard indicating the problem was still there. I tried to continue driving down the highway but the engine kept on shutting itself off and the issue persisted. Eventually I had to call a local friend who has a trailer to help me tow my vehicle back home. The vehicle, when scanned, released the code P008A which indicates a low pressure fuel system error. I have read that this issue is currently being investigated by the NHTSA and would like to clarify and state that this is indeed a very dangerous safety issue and it should be dealt with accordingly.Read more
