My vehicle stalled out 3 times in one day while stopped a t a traffic light. Windshield wipers were on (I do not recall what setting). First message displayed advised to press firmly on brake, which I did. Second message was "low power steering" and the engine shut off completely. I had to put in park, turn off, and restart. Thankfully it did without issue.

On April 29th 2023 while washing my Volvo XC90 I opened the trunk to clean out the crevasses around the car. As I continued to wipe down/dry the vehicle I placed my hand at the top of the trunk opening and moved my way downwards to wipe the bumper and side of car. Unfortunately, the handsfree tailgate feature activated and the trunk began to close on my hand. Due to my hand being so close to the
... the spring and the speed in which the trunk door closed I was unable to move my hand fast enough. My Middle, Index and pinky finger were all crushed inside of the car trunk. No one was able to render aid to me for several minutes. I was able to contort my body enough to push the trunk button and unlock it but the gate itself would not lift. I even in a state of panic tried to kick under the car to initiate the lift, I tried lifting as best I could to get relief off of my hands. Finally about 5 minutes later a passerby came and rendered aid to me and he had to manually lift the trunk up to free my fingers. The experience has been traumatic and I am taking all necessary steps via the Volvo dealership and Volvo to have this matter checked out and resolved. The car has no sensors around the trunk with the exception of something blocking it from closing completely. Also, if you are not carefully and are leaning into the trunk and trip the handsfree tailgate sensor it can close on you if you are leaning into the trunk - this is an issue I saw with my XC60 (2021) that clearly was not resolved. I did go to the ER and wound up with thankfully a bruised hand/tendons but no broken bones but I will need to follow up with a hand surgeon to ensure I do not have tendon/nerve damage.Read more

When I was approaching my vehicle from the rear, I noticed my back window had chunks of glass missing and it appeared cracked. As I got closer, I noticed the entire back window was shattered. I contacted the police. Management of the store stated no one approached my vehicle. They did see “a weird occurrence of the glass just shatter, no one was near the vehicle”. The police showed up, reviewed video and said there was nothing they could do because no crime was committed. I contacted my insurance to have it repaired. I had to drive the vehicle home and then to Safelite to have it repaired, all while my rear view vision was obstructed by having shattered glass. The way the glass shattered, pieces could have struck a person walking by. If I were in the vehicle or had people in the backseat, they would have been struck with glass. Glass was scattered all throughout the back of the vehicle. I believe the tint I had on the window kept it from completely falling into the trunk. If this would have happened while being driven, it could have caused an accident. Safelite replaced the window, but was unable to remove the glass that had fallen into the tailgate. I now hear glass moving around when I drive and also when I lift and lower my tailgate. This is going to depreciate the vehicle value and also prevent me from selling the vehicle. I have also noticed while doing research, many other owners of RDX are having the same issue, yet no Recall. Acura has not considered this to be a problem.Read more

On 10/06/2020 the vehicle was returned after extensive repairs were done to exhaust and engine under warranty (see repair invoice). •My check engine light and coolant light continued to come on sporadically producing the same error messages in the Ford app for my car. •On May 7, 2022 My check engine light come back on and I received an error message that I had never seen prior but as soon as I stopped the message went away •On May 17, 2022 I took the car in one final time too Planet Ford Dallas. This report was submitted PREVIOUSLY on April 5, 2023 with no response received by me: My 2012 Hyundai Elantra Limited engine began making a tapping/ticking noise a few years ago. The noise became louder and then I discovered that my car qualified for the EXTENDED POWERTRAIN WARRANTY which was granted to any 2011-2016 Hyundai Elantra owner with 1.8L Nu Engine that a class action lawsuit brought
... against Hyundai Motor Corporation. I was never notified by Hyundai but rather a mechanic that I brought my car to that was aware of the campaign. I contacted Hyundai and was told to have the engine diagnosed by my local Hyundai Dealer. The results of the diagnosis were submitted to the Hyundai Motors Corporation Warranty department and my claim was denied as I was told that my mileage and years were past the qualifying criteria. I had brought my 2012 Hyundai Elantra Limited to the Hyundai dealership that I had purchased the car as certified used Hyundai in 2014 for the engine diagnosis to determine if the engine noise was related to the Extended Powertrain Warranty granted to owners of any 2011-2016 Hyundai Elantra with 1.8L Nu Engine. The borescope results and photos were sent to the Hyundai Motors Corporation Warranty department and it was confirmed that my engine did indeed have the "piston slap" problem as outlined in the class action lawsuit and all four cylinders were severely scored. Upon contacting Hyundai to request the borescope video and photos that I had paid $200 to the Hyundai dealership service department for the diagnosis, I was told if i wanted the video and photos I would have to hire an attorney to obtain them from the Hyundai warranty Department! I was never notified of this "secret" campaign! Needless to say I am extremely unhappy about this. Last week, I scheduled an appointment in the Service Department at Russell and Smith Honda to diagnose my 2018 Honda Pilot. My vehicle jerks when driving at a low speed. That same day, I picked up my vehicle from Russell and Smith Honda and refused to pay because its a 2018 truck that I shouldn't be dealing with a transmission problem. As I was driving the truck back home, it started to turn off automatically and an engine light alert would turn on. The truck would start working after turning it back on. Two days after, I took it back to Russell and Smith Honda and advised them of the truck shutting down and I was notified to pay another $100 for a diagnosis which I refused to pay since it was recently diagnosed two days ago. This is putting my life at risk on the streets. The employee who assisted me went inside to ask a mechanic on duty and came back to notify me that I do need to pay for another diagnosis to determine whats wrong. I refused to pay and left the dealership. I called Honda Motor Company on 4/10/23 to advise them of the problem and they created a case #13752705 to further investigate and I advised them if not I will report it to NHTSA. Honda Motor Company requested a copy of the diagnosis and when I called them for an update, the case worker assigned to my case Samir stated they agreed to pay for the transmission flush and system update and they have notified Russell and Smith Honda. The next day I called Russell and Smith Honda to advise them that I will drop off the truck according to Honda Motor Company and they said I need to pay for the recommendations listed on the diagnosis first. The power steering on the 2016 Honda Civic. While driving it is hard to gain control over the vehicle and the steering wheel tends to lock in place. It is UNKNOWN if the problem has been reproduced. The vehicle has been inspected by others. There is no warning lamps or message prior to failure.

The metal bar that is used with part of the recline system has gone through the side of the plastic shell of the seat. There is a hole that it went through and broke through a sticker on the side of the seat. Metal bar does not stay in place and could slide all the way out when in recline position #1. 1. The driver’s door window motor burnt out causing the window switch to smoke. The fuse never failed. The car was diagnosed at the dealership. It is at the dealership now awaiting the purchase of repair parts. 2. I was told that it was a safety issue by the dealership because the switch could have started a fire. The mechanic had it smoking during the diagnosis. He did not want to put it
... back together until repaired. 3. The dealer was the one that diagnosed it. 4. The problem was not reported to any other agency. 5. There were no warning signs or messages before the motor failed and the switch burned up. I am also have problems with the radio where it doesn’t now shut off when the drivers side door is opened. It also started when the window motor stopped working. I believe that it all related. I will be calling the dealership back to voice that concern as well. I had tried to enter my address is in Canada not the states… I have had to fix my car couple times and issue has not been resolved as I would get a dashboard warning that the oil pressure is low and to turn off the vehicle. The coolant overheat to the point it’s boiling. There is a recall for this issue however not sure why this vehicle does not qualify as it’s a safety hazard

The automatic locks on both right passenger sides quit working. It imposes a danger because if you are trying to get out of the vehicle you can’t if it’s locked. If it’s left unlocked then it imposes a danger if someone is trying to get into your vehicle that you don’t want and you can’t lock them out.

The contact owns a 2018 Ford Edge. The contact stated while driving 40-50 MPH, she heard an abnormally loud sound coming from the sunroof before the sunroof glass panel cracked.
