... d this issue in July 2023 and sought assistance from Acura. At first the dealership denied that my car was affected by their Service Bulletin 23-022. I knew I had an issue and called and created a case with Acura. I drove my car as little as possible last year. Last month, I had an issue which made my car only drive under 50mph and all these lights popped up on my instrument panel: it read: Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) problem, Forward collision warning (FCW) Electric Power steering problem, Brake. I brought my car in to my regular mechanic. He showed me the codes on my car showed the service bulletin. I then took my car back to Acura dealership (June 17th). Acura identified the issue as related to rear toe actuators. Acura called me and informed me that I was outside of their warranty period even thought I started the case with them last year. The estimated cost exceeds $3,000, which I find financially burdensome. The safety issue persists despite Acura's negligence and puts me and my family and other drivers at risk, necessitating urgent intervention to prevent potential accidents. I’ve recently taken the vehicle to the Honda Dealer and I now have to replace the Steering Rack at a cost of $3500 before tax and front end alignment. I am waiting for a steering rack to become available as there is a nationwide shortage at this time. My dealership is familiar with this problem as they get daily complaints of this issue. I will not be driving this vehicle on my planned summer vacation until it’s fixed. I don’t feel it’s safe. The effort to overcome the stickiness in the steering wheel becomes very exhausting. ... dent can be verified through an inspection of the vehicle, which is available upon request. My safety and the safety of other motorists were severely compromised due to this malfunction. The sudden failure of the engine oil system could have resulted in a catastrophic engine failure, potentially leading to a loss of control of the vehicle at high speeds. Fortunately, I was able to safely pull over to the side of the road, but the situation could have been much worse. Upon experiencing the issue, I had the vehicle towed to Service Center where the problem was reproduced and confirmed by a certified mechanic. They conducted a thorough inspection and confirmed that the engine oil had indeed burned, leading to the illumination of the oil warning light. The inspection report from the service center is available for review. Additionally, I reported the incident to the vehicle manufacturer and my insurance company. Both entities have documented the issue, and I am awaiting further instructions on how to proceed. There has been no involvement from law enforcement as there was no accident or injury resulting from the incident. Prior to the failure, I did not notice any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms indicating a problem with the engine oil system. The warning light appeared suddenly while I was driving on the expressway, giving me no advance notice of the impending malfunction. I tried turning the car off and on, googling the problem, and was about to call a tow truck when after 12-13 minutes, I was able to restart the car. I was scared that this could happen again on the freeway. When we could do it together, my husband and I took the car to Chevrolet Suburban of Ann Arbor, which says that they can find nothing wrong with the car, cannot replicate the problem, and that the car computer does not have any error code. They and GM are not willing to do anything to fix it. If they are really unable to find an error code, then something is wrong with the car computer too. I will not drive that car again until it is fixed - I consider it to be risking my life and others' lives to do so. We are spending a lot of money leasing a replacement vehicle as they will not even give us a loaner. The car is just sitting in their lot. -Baggage compartment doors, when latched securely and locked with key, would open during travel down the highway at random. Luckily no cargo was lost (I take turns very slowly and noticed flapping baggage doors in my side view mirrors pretty quickly). This has happened on multiple occasions, and continued to happen after multiple dealership service visits that supposedly rectified the issue. This
... issue first appeared within 100 miles of purchasing this travel trailer brand new. -Yes, Adventure RV of Cheyenne, WY (now Blue Compass) verified the issue and eventually replaced under warranty the baggage door latches, and then after issue persisted and I complained, replaced the baggage doors entirely. -The issue persisted, contacted Grand Design corporate to open a complaint ticket. I requested permission to have trailer inspected and issue resolved at Windish RV in Longmont, CO as the Cheyenne dealership was incompetent and dishonest. Windish RV was fantastic, but Grand Design refused to authorize anything else for the baggage doors issue. Windish RV suggested I should upgrade the latches/locks to a high quality replacement, as the factory latches are mostly plastic junk, all the locks are keyed the same, and issues with them are almost guaranteed. On my own dime I replaced all of the baggage door latches with RV Lock (Utah, USA small business) replacement handles and locks (nearly $500 plus labor). This resolved the issue (around 5k mi since install). This was very expensive and time consuming but the safety and peace of mind is priceless. If items from the open baggage compartments fell out onto the roadway it could have caused massive property damage, injuries, and loss of life to my occupants and anybody else on the same road at the same time as me. -I can provide the warranty repair attempts documentation at a later date, as that paperwork is currently inside the trailer at a repair facility for other issues currently.Read more

To date, this issue continues to occur. The only way to keep it from happening is to Reset the TCM Learning. This requires the battery to be unplugged for an extended period of time. There was a subsequent TCM logic update for Recall 24TA02 (NHTSA Campaign Number 24V125000). It would seem that this TCM Logic Update has actually caused this condition to be present more often. This is something that we have expressed to our Service Consultant at every visit and it is still occurring over two years later. We have had this happen multiple times while attempting to proceed through a 4-way stop, as well as trying to merge into tra`c in slower moving city streets. There are members of an online forum who have been able to record the data aow and show when and how the delay occurs. Other than December 2022 TSB, Toyota has not acknowledged this issue even though it continues to occur on the MY22+ Tundra/MY23+ Sequoia, as well as the MY18+ Lexus LS 500. I am lead to believe this is a result of the programming for the Direct Shift 10- AT from Aisin/Toyota and/or the V35A-FTS, both Type '17 (LS 500) and the Type '21 (Tundra/ Sequoia).Read more

We tested several new cars on the dealer lot and found that all of them exhibit this noise. It is quite bothersome while driving, and I request Mazda's immediate attention to resolve this issue by fixing the latch bracket to securely hold the seat and eliminate the noise.
