... enced uncontrolled acceleration and difficulting in steering. I chose not to exit and fought to keep the vehicle in varying freeway lanes attempting to brake to which the vehicle continued to attempt to accelerate against the braking, I also simultaneously and frantically continued to push the right stalk upwards in attempt to disengage Autopilot assuming that was causing the unintended acceleration. I was fighting to keep the car in a lane with faulty steering at time awakwardly steering to avoid slower moving vehicles. I eventually ended up coming to a complete stop in the middle lane of I-15 north bound 9/10ths (nine tenths) of mile north of my intended exit (mile post #278 Pioneer Crossing). Because of faulty controls I was afraid to try to move the vehicle to the side — I immediately put on emergency flashing lights and called 911 on my cell phone. While nervously waiting for emergency services approaching vehicles slowed and made their way around me — per instruction I stayed in my vehicle with seatbelt on. One large pickup truck struck my vehicle driverside rear as he passed by and failed to stop. Utah Highway Patrol and Fire Department Ambulance arrived within approximatley ten minutes. Two highway patrol officers stopped traffic and assisted in me slowing driving my vehicle to the center emergency lane. One office stayed with me until tow. He commented the right rear wheel appeared not aligned correctly suggested the rear axle was possibly broken. I was not injured beyond being extremely frightened. No passengers.Read more

Had software update performed by dealer for 23S27 recall. Two weeks later sitting at a light amber box appeared that said check manual and had a picture of a wrench clicked ok to dismiss. Light changed and proceeded to make my left turn with no power. Looked back at dash and now MIL lamp (check engine) is lit. Pulled over, shut the car off and went to use rest room hoping car would reset itself. N
... o joy car is in full blown limp mode 30 mph max. Called dealer and they said they would have to charge me a diagnostic fee. I said your are not supposed to charge a fee for a recall. Went home read the code with my own reader. P1061 was set. Googled the code and it said this code was setting on Escape hybrids after recall software update. On 9/5/24 took car to dealer said nothing was in the knock pid and reset the code and limo mode, tech noted it was likely to reappear. Sure enough two day later same code, same limo mode. I have a SAFETY concern with this recall leaving me powerless. Fortunately for me both times this happened was on city streets! I do a lot of freeway driving and if this happened on the freeway I would experience a high speed rear collision. Car is now having the long block replaced 23N06 and hopefully I never see this or experience this behavior again. I have my doubts!Read more

This is a design flaw with All Infiniti cars and SUV's and it should be a Recall or at a minimum fixed for free by Infiniti. My 2015 Chevy Colorado had a repaired recall for the Power Steering assist system. This repair shows as being completed on 2/19/2016, however I have had the Stability Trak system error come on, which in turn restricts the power steering and thus completely unsafe to drive as it has happened in the middle of turns and straightens the wheel out immediately.

On occasion the car moves backward when I have it in Drive, and forward when I have it in Reverse. It commonly happens when doing a tight, 3 point turn. I noticed the issue shortly after I purchased the car in Mar '23 and first brought the car to the dealer for inspection after the 2nd time it happened in Jan '24. I've brought the car in many times for this and they cannot duplicate it or fix it (
... 4 service records attached). There's no warning lights or error messages. I can visually see the gear shifter is in Drive, but when I put my foot on the accelerator the car moves backwards. It's the same when I visually see the gear shifter in Reverse, but the car moves forward. This has put my safety, the safety of my passengers, and the safety of people standing nearby at risk on multiple occasions. On one occasion, I was navigating a tight, multipoint u-turn, as I was trying to turn around between 2 large trees. My nephew stood outside the car waiting to get in. When I had enough clearance between the tree in back of me, and the back of my car, I put the car in Reverse to backup a few feet so that my nephew had enough space to open the passenger side door and get in. However, even though I had put the car in Reverse, it unexpectedly moved forward nearly pinning my nephew between the front of my car and the tree in front of me. I shouted at my nephew to step away from the car. I looked at the gear shifter again to ensure that I was in fact in Reverse, and then I tapped the accelerator gently to see if I could inch back away from the tree in front of me, but the car continued to move forward nearly hitting the tree. I had to put the car in Park, remove my seat belt, open the driver's side door, and step out of the car to get the car to "turn off" and "restart". When I got back in the car, and attempted to Reverse again, it worked as expected. I didn't log exact dates each time it happened, but I did first bring it to dealer for this problem on 1/4/24, with 8070 miles.Read more

Voltage instability, particularly with the Engine Stop/Start (ESS) system, has also been widely discussed, further pointing to potential flaws in Jeep’s electrical design. I researched this issue and noticed a widespread problem with the light detection of the 2017 modes and the 2018 Audi Q7 left front-side marker light. I've had an ADAS fail indication on my instrument cluster for over a month now. Along with this happening, I've lost my automatic emergency braking, my blind spot warnings, my forward collision warnings, and my rear cross-traffic warnings.

1.) I have had repeated, on-going issues with the fuel propulsion system since the day I bought the car. When I step on the accelerator it randomly (lately more constant than random) does not respond, then it will shoot me out into traffic. For example when I am entering the highway from an onramp, I see my opportunity to merge into traffic and I step on the gas - nothing - no response, then it su
... ddenly accelerates and shoots me into oncoming traffic. This is SO BAD that I am afraid to drive the vehicle. It is DEADLY. I have reported the issue every time I have had the car serviced (always dealer serviced, from same dealer where I bought it.) 2.) The vehicle will randomly decide that I am going to hit a car in another lane, and will forcefully apply the brakes (when there is no issue, no danger, no possible way I am going to even be close to hitting another car) causing the cars behind me to come extremely close to rear-ending me! Or the car will decide I am going off the road when I am taking a soft curve, and it will sound a warning and try to turn the wheel. 3.) The display panel will go black for no reason. I then cannot use the navigation screen. It will randomly return after a few hours or after a day or two. 4.) The camera/display will get stuck on the reverse camera causing a visual disconnect as I drive forward, but can only see what is in reverse. (like seasickness). No idea what causes it or how to fix it. Eventually it corrects itself after a few hours/day+. 5.) Car will occasionally make a strange squealing noise after it has been turned off - no idea what that is, or what causes it. As a salesperson who spends many, many hours in her car, this vehicle has become a constant danger to both my livelihood and my life.
