8L90 Transmission failed. The transmission was inspected by a chevrolet Technician at a Chevrolet dealership and found to be defective, thus rendering the vehicle not drivable. Went back to truck open the driver door and the dash was reading vehicle was still in neutral tow. Called a tow truck. The F250 truck was towed to the Moss Ford dealership. Ford dealership never neutral towed the F250 so they were unable to recreate the situation. However we had computer data on the F250 dating back to before the truck was delivered after manufacturing relating to brake issues. The Emergency brakes engages when we are driving it and comes on after stopping on a hill or after we tow a trailer. We have had this F250 into the dealership for brake warranty issues before we started to neutral tow the F250. We had neutral tow this truck over 1500 miles before this incident. We continued on our trip and currently in Chula Vista CA. Neutral tow the F250 all the way. However the Ford instructions on how to set up neutral tow does not tell you disable automated emergency braking system or disable the front collision warning system.Read more

The main infotainment screen does not function. The car reboots itself every 5-6 minutes while driving. This temporarily disables all the seat sensors, signals or anything that requires electrical. The regenerative braking is also disabled. Furthermore, I can not control any Heat, AC, defrosters, which is extremely dangerous during the winter season.

The engine was unresponsive and made it difficult to pull into the oncoming traffic. We found out the head gasket was blown and it finally just shut down. Then after we fixed that the lifters and heads were gone even after we had the heads milled and got new gaskets and other parts amounting to $11000.00 so far. We have this car for two years and we have put less that 5000 miles on the car.

When I arrived at the dealership the service department told me they did not have parts but would change my oil and do other service for a fee. All I wanted was the recall fixed. In total I've been to the dealer 3 times and been always told that they have not received parts from the manufacturer. Today I called Infinity Consumer Affairs Department at 1-800-662-6200 and spoke to "Dennis". He did little but talk in circles and did nothing to provide information and when the recall would be fixed. Since I was getting no information and he was not listening or helping I told him I was ending the call and calling the NHTSA, which I did and spoke with Tyronda. Confirmation number for call she gave me is [XXX] for our call. After my repeated efforts and complaints, Infinity appears to have no interest on fixing the vehicle recall they first advised me of in August, only seemingly "going through the motions" as slow as possible. If that step doesn't work we we would submit a warranty pa again, to see if they would cover a new engine." Around 12:30 pm Sysco driver [XXX] illegally parked on the San Diego California street blocking off traffic. I made a note of the drivers identification because of the awkward closeness to my vehicle. I went to an appointment about an hour away and upon my return I immediately noticed tension and pulling with my suspension that was not there before. I contact Sysco corporate office to report the
... incident and they said they will take care of it and to make a police report. I call immediately and am put on hold for nearly 90 minutes then am disconnected. I go to make an in person report and the police department is closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I notify the department of transportation and the California attorney general of my situation and how my car is not working like before. This should be investigated. My car shuts off going down the road happens randomly it happened in July of 2024 and in November 2024 no warning lights came on it just shuts off I have not had my car looked at yet but I do plan on taking it to a dealer
