The forward collision detection system failed first. Then the car suddenly would not move and gave a pull over immediately warning on the dash and also flashed a battery light. My 2021 Yukon Denali has roughly 70k miles and this is now the SECOND time that my engine shut off while driving >55mph on the interstate in the past 3 months. That episode turned out to be a bad fuel pump control module, and after roughly $400 at the local Firestone auto repair shop, I was on my way (FYI, they didn't diagnose it; I learned that was the likely problem by reading online forums and basically demanded they replace the FPCM). Now, here I am about 3 months later, and it happened again, just two days after I had the vehicle serviced at the GMC dealership for a check engine light that was intermittently coming on. The technicians said I needed an update to the Engine Control Module which was completed. The main difference was that this time, I had zero warning. There was no sensation of running out of fuel or funny noises from the engine. I just went to give it gas and noticed it wasn't working. There was a warning on the dash saying push button to start the vehicle (once again, the electronics stayed on when the engine shut off). Ford has MANY previous ABS MODULE recalls on several of their MODELS, but the CMax Energi isn’t due to it not being a popular car. I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sport that only has 24k miles on it (all oem stock components with zero modification) and I have been experiencing death wobble issues when traveling at highway speeds and driving over seam transitions where the road meets bridge crossings. ... edal, apply the brakes and come to a near stop. I took it to the dealership and all suspension parts are in good condition with no wear and bolts are tightened to oem torques. The dealership is recommending a steering stabilizer be installed, which is going to cost me $400 with no guarantee it will fix the issue. Many Jeep forums state the steering stabilzer is a band aid fix that does not resolve this serious safety defect long term. We'll see what happens, but quite honestly I'm scared to even drive it anymore. If it continues to experience death wobble after this supposed fix, I'm getting rid of it and trading it in on a more reliable brand, but am concerned about the next person who ends up buying it. It's an obvious design flaw that has been going on with Jeeps for 2 decades and Jeep needs to go back to the drawing board and figure out a permanent long term fix. I have owned many vehicles in my life and I have never experienced this problem with other brands. It seems to be synonymous with the Jeep brand.Read more

So a few months after installing the pedal commander chip my Camry out of nowhere began flashing warning symbols and messages and the engine was reduced to about 5% power. Pre-collision braking was down, ABS was down, lane assistance was down, cruise control was down and it also said “Engine Reduced Power”, please see dealership! So I parked, turned off the car and disconnected the battery for
... about 10-15 mins. When I reconnected the battery and started the car everything was fine and there were no codes/warning lights. So I thought it was a glitch. Then like 3-4 days later it did it again immobilizing me outside of a clients house to where I had to get it towed. I then thought to unplug the chip and see if that did anything and of course once I did it started up and drove fine with no codes, for about a month or so. Then it gave me all the same codes as before but now without the chip installed. Did an oil change with new filter, replaced the starter cause now it wouldn’t start at all or turn over. Once I replaced the starter, I was able to get it started and drive it a few times over the course of 3-4 weeks at the time I wasn’t driving it that much. But then all of a sudden it stops starting again and now gives me all those codes again and now my Camry has been immobilized for the past year, basically all cause of the accelerator chip.Read more

This causes the radar to give a "RADAR OBSTRUCTED" warning, which disables all Advanced Driver Assistance Systems in the car (Automatic Emergency B

Honda has acted in bad-faith towards their customers since this defect impacts the vehicle's advanced safety features for which buyers incur additional expenses, endangering the lives of passengers. 6. Honda has acted in bad-faith towards their customers by designing a system that requires continuous and substantial expenditures without resolution because it is an engineering problem, i.e., the placement of the radar behind the large, thick plastic H emblem obstructs the radar. 7. ... ine. That extreme of an instance hasn't occurred since, but the infotainment display does still go black, freeze or reset from time to time. Every time, I schedule an appointment to fix the recall, the VW Service cancels my appointment, saying updates keep crashing for other customers. I also receive VW app notifications that my AC is on when I'm not even in the car. Same with the door locks, I constantly receive notifications that my car is unclocked when I know I've locked it and am inside my house. The other main issues with the door handles is the passenger doors often only open after multiple lock and unlock attempts via button the inside the car, bc the fob doesn't always work. Even with new batteries. Again, I've scheduled service appointments to fix the recall, and they cancel it saying they don't have the parts. It's been almost a year, I've been dealing with both of these issues.Read more

While driving, the truck began to violently shake when downshifting. As I was exiting the highway and braking, the shaking intensified, and the truck stalled while I was traveling around 30 MPH, causing a complete power loss. Applying the brakes only made it accelerate further, causing the truck to lunge forward uncontrollably. I managed to slow it down by putting it in neutral, regaining full brake control. I was able to get the truck to my driveway, but as soon as I turned into the driveway, it stalled again. I had to repeat this process to make it home as I didn't have cell service and was unable to call for a tow. This issue is extremely concerning, a complete power loss while driving, especially one that forces you off the road to avoid an accident, poses a grave safety hazard.
