As slowing down to park in parking space, the automatic braking applies hard and throws you forward. All three times, the vehicle was just entering the parking space and automatically slammed on brakes causing all passengers to lunge forward and seat belt to apply hard, hurting passengers chest. This is a safety hazard as it could cause harm to the passengers and if it happens at higher speeds t

On or about October 21–22, 2025, I brought my 2020 Acura TLX (brown, 99,000 miles, VIN [XXX] ) to Goodson Acura of Dallas for a recall repair related to engine concerns. The vehicle was returned to me on October 24, 2025. Shortly afterward, the car began to lag and hesitate while accelerating. On November 3, 2025, while driving to a doctor’s appointment on the Bypass Bridge in morning traffic
... , the vehicle suddenly stalled and lost power completely. This created a dangerous situation in active traffic. I recently underwent surgery following a serious burn injury, so limited mobility made this stall especially hazardous. After restarting the engine, multiple ADAS and system-fault warnings appeared. I contacted Goodson Acura and was advised to bring the vehicle in. Upon arrival, the service advisor confirmed the warning lights but required a $205 diagnostic fee despite the recall work. Acura Client Relations opened Case No. XXX and advised the charge should not apply if related to the recall. After waiting several hours, I was told the battery had died and that front camera/ADAS systems were returning codes. This stall occurred less than two weeks after recall repair and could easily have caused a serious crash or injury. I am requesting a full investigation into the recall repair, the stalling issue, and any related safety defects. I have a 2018 Ford F-150 with a 3.5L Ecoboost engine. In October 2021, I received a Customer Satisfaction Program 21B10, 21N03, and 21N08 notice of a software upgrade to reduce the engine cam phasor rattle on engine start up. This was a limited time repair notice. Unfortunately, I thought it was a recall notice and did not act on this upgrade until a few weeks after it had expired on July 31, 2
... 022. When I called the local dealer a few weeks after this date, they stated they would not perform the upgrade free and instead would charge me. I also had a mechanic state that this issue was not required and recommended I not pay for this upgrade. Even if I had performed the upgrade, it doesn't sound like it would have necessarily fixed the cam phasor issue because thousands on Ford customers have complained. Over the years, the engine "rattle" noise has gotten worse, the engine has been harder to start, and the engine surges at highway speeds which is a "safety concern" since I no longer feel safe driving the truck because it feels like it will "stall" at any moment. When I took the truck into the dealer on September 3, 2025, they stated there was not warranty recall for the cam phasor issue even though this was documented by Ford Motor in the October 2021 Customer Satisfaction Program stated above. They told me it would cost ~ $5,600 to fix the issue. I do not understand how there is not a recall on this since Ford Motor knew they had a defective cam phasor design in their 3.5L Ecoboost engines. I am sure there are quite a few complaints posted with NHTSA. Any help you can provide with this issue would be greatly appreciated by me and all the Ford owners. Thank you.Read more

In early 2025, while reversing the vehicle, the backup camera proximity alert system failed to provide audible warnings of an obstacle. ... failure happened on 10/23/25 as I backed out of a parking space. I no longer live in the local area, but reported the safety issue in person during a visit on August 27, 2025. The acting service manager told me to expect a response in 10-14 days. After not hearing back, I followed up via the app on September 28, 2025. When I received a response on October 2, 2025, I was told my request is beyond the timeframe of when this could be inspected (30 days). The vehicle is covered under Tesla's 4-year/50,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which covers defects in materials and workmanship. A failed backup camera system is precisely such a defect. California Song-Beverly Act: California's lemon law (Civ. Code § 1790 et seq.) requires manufacturers to repair defects covered by warranty. There is no 30-day reporting requirement under CA law. Federal Safety Standards: The backup camera is required safety equipment under 49 CFR 571.111. A malfunctioning backup camera renders the vehicle non-compliant with federal safety standards. Presumption of Manufacturing Defect: Under California law, defects occurring within 18 months/18,000 miles are presumed to be manufacturing defects (Civ. Code § 1793.2(d)(2)). This accident was well within that window. When I reported this defect to Tesla, they initially refused to: Conduct a safety inspection of the proximity alert/parking sensor system Retrieve diagnostic data or video footage to verify the system failure Test or repair the defective equipment under warranty As of 10/30/25, the local dealer agreed to a vehicle inspectionRead more

My backup camera continues to not work and says I need to contact the dealership. When I contact the place that I got it from it says it's not covered under their warranty in the contact Ford. When I contact Ford they said there was some rear backup camera thing going on and that the recall had not been issued yet? Also I've been having issues with it connecting to any kind of device, it will say
... connecting phone and load and load and load and never connect or the phone will be connected and say it's not connected so calls and stuff won't come through and when calls you come through it switches to aux and then you can't hear the person who's speaking which I find dangerous because then you have to touch your phone while driving. Another issue that I'm having is when I fill up my tank it is saying for example if I put $40 in and it's the same price it was the day before and I have to fill up my tank I would get different readings so sometimes I might get like 370 in other days I might get like 205 which makes it difficult to really gauge how much gas you have. Have had multiple times where I've had to completely reset the infotainment system because it does not work and you can't push any buttons on it including the buttons that are below that infotainment system that control tuning seeking and temperatures of the car and do you think that there's some electrical problems somewhere that could be causing all of these issues.Read more

My truck currently has 16k miles. The brakes should last 40k-60k miles with no problem. Engine/fuel system - Since new, my truck has never met the window sticker EPA ratings listed. 22-23 models being recalled due to engine failure leads me to believe my engine is not performing at peak performance, thus, affecting fuel economy. I am afraid my model (built in 2023) is slowly experiencing the same main bearing failure as the 22-23 models suffered, having catastrophic results and was recalled to have a full engine replacement. I am submitting this report regarding an ongoing issue with my Kia vehicle related to the recall for code P1326 (Knock Sensor Detection System / Engine Bearing Wear). The first time this issue occurred, Kia documented the problem and kept my vehicle overnight to perform what they referred to as an “engine soak.” I was informed that this procedure might resolve the engine performance and oil co
... nsumption problems. I was also advised that if the issue reoccurred within 15 years of vehicle ownership or before reaching 150,000 miles, Kia would replace the engine under the recall warranty. Recently, the same issue has reappeared, but Kia is now refusing to replace the engine, citing “gaps in maintenance” from the early years of my ownership. I explained that, at that time, my father performed all oil changes and maintenance at home to reduce costs, as I was a young driver living with my parents. Kia is requesting proof of oil or tool purchases from over ten years ago, which I no longer possess. Additionally, all vehicle-related documentation was left inside the car when it was stolen and broken into twice—incidents connected to the nationwide Kia theft issue that has been subject to another class-action lawsuit. As a result, I no longer have access to those records. During my initial visit, the Kia service representative, Jake, assured me that if the engine failed again and I maintained the vehicle properly, I would be covered for a full engine replacement. The fuel injectors failed on my Hyundai Sonata in two instances. Once on 5/23/24 and once on 9/7/25. During the first instance, I was driving on a local road when the accelerator stopped working and the engine started sputtering. We were fortunately able to stop at a nearby parking lot before the engine completely stopped working. During the second instance, I was also driving through a local road
... when the accelerator stopped and the engine started sputtering again. This time, we weren't able to reach a safe stopping point and the engine died on the road. My family was with me at the time, so we had to push the car in neutral to the closest safe space. In both cases, our safety and the safety was others was put at risk as the car become unable to accelerate, and the car stops moving. We had to get out on the road and push the car with oncoming traffic. The problem was confirmed by the dealer in both cases, and they replaced the fuel injectors in both cases. So far, they've replaced 3 out of the 4 fuel injectors so I still drive in fear of another fuel injector causing a breakdown while I'm driving. There were no warnings or symptoms prior to the failure so there was no way to know to stop driving and to stop in a safe spot. We were fortunate to be able to move the car to a safe place for both instances, but if this had happened on the highway or secluded location, our lives could've been at risk. I've requested Hyundai to replace the last fuel injector but they're refusing to do so. I only feel safe driving in local roads or short highway trips as I fear for the reliability of my car, my safety, and the safety of others.Read more

Camera is failing - reportedly due to a bad internal ground-wire. Acura is charging $900 for the part and $1600 for the installation and calibration of a new unit !! Acura should be using white colors inside the space, limit the un-used volume, and recalling the units (or at least providing a

NHTSA should NOT be requiring ADAS technology if it is so fragile and expensive to fix/replace, as in the long-run owners will not maintain it (e..g $2,400 repair bills for a small camera part nad 5 minute change). GMC customer care representative & local GMC service department supervisor unable to help. 2017 Acadia Shift to Park message. It’s Difficult to turn the car off. The vehicle refuses to acknowledge the park position. Potential rollaway hazard. You may inspect. Took it to GMC service & confirmed it is a prevalent issue: Transmission control 13534320 = gearshift assembly & Jumper harness 84733196.
... This problem has been recurring for several years and I have problem solved how to shut the car off. GMC customer care rep said it’s an issue with all 2017 Acadias and tried to help. The system deemed it complicated case & escalated it to a Supervisor. She read a “customer care” script. After talking, she admitted that realistically GMC would not help. Yesterday, she advised me to file a complaint with NHTSA. I read that 2 other states Ohio & Tennessee won class action lawsuits because of the hazardous shift to park issue. If GMC issued recalls for 2017 Acadia shift to park then my 2017 GMC Acadia should have been included. I have been waiting for the recall for several years. GMC admits the problem is prevalent in 2017 GMC Acadias. Would you please issue a recall associated with this issue and link it to my VIN. Thank you.Read more

Car engine sometimes does not restart when the auto start-stop feature is engaged. Car engine is also sluggish to restart when it does work. My local Acura dealer evaluated the car on 10/15/25, found battery was low. Battery was replaced that day, and things seemed okay for about a week. Today (10/21) when I was stopped at a traffic light, the issue returned and my car would not restart after goin

Fortunately, this has only happened thus far for me at stoplights, but safety could definitely be impacted if the engine does not turn back on and the car needs to be maneuvered quickly. No warning lights or messages appeared prior to the issue. This started for me about 3 weeks ago. No accidents or known issues with the car prior to the issue. There does not seem to be a predictable pattern to the auto start-stop feature failing.Read more

There are many people on the Audi Etron forum complaining of

Safety was compromised by drivetrain instability and a federal recall involving a starter motor defect that poses a fire risk. Despite this, BMW of Arlington has refused to authorize repairs or allow BMW of Austin to complete the necessary work—even after a $13,565 drivetrain failure diagnosis. On October 4, 2025, our 2022 BMW 840i became inoperable due to worn splines in the rear differential a
... nd drive shaft. BMW of Austin confirmed the failure was consistent with prior service-induced damage. The component is available for inspection. The issue followed a July 24 oil change at BMW of Arlington, after which the vehicle became undriveable. Staff verbally admitted damaging a plastic part but provided no technician report. A loaner vehicle was issued, implying acknowledgment of faultThe problem was confirmed by BMW of Austin. BMW of Arlington has not inspected the failed component and stated they “do not know what caused it.” No inspection has been performed by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives. Prior symptoms included persistent tire pressure issues, a visibly bent rim, and a failed emissions test dated October 28, 2022—before our purchase. The vehicle was titled at 21,248 miles but listed days later at 41,418 and 48,290 miles, triggering a NMVTIS “possible odometer rollback” alert. Following our escalation to BMW Group CEO [XXX] , our BMW app was restricted and warranty data—including federally protected emissions coverage—was removed. This suggests retaliatory suppression of coverage visibility. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more
