The vehicle has experienced repeated mechanical failures involving the engine, cooling system, drivetrain, and electronic systems. Documented failures include the navigation/APIM module, transmission jerking and drivability issues, transmission valve body concerns, cam phaser failure, driveshaft repair, front wheel bearing/IWE failure, coolant leaks from heater core hoses, and engine vibration req
... uiring extensive diagnostic work including a short block engine repair. The vehicle has also experienced multiple overheating incidents despite prior repairs. Overheating occurred in May 2025, December 2025, and February 2026. During these events the engine temperature rose abnormally and coolant had to be added to the reservoir. Drivetrain problems including transmission jerking, vibration, and driveshaft repair also created drivability concerns while operating the vehicle at highway speeds. These issues have been inspected and confirmed by an authorized Lincoln dealership service department. Numerous repairs and diagnostics have been performed including APIM replacement, cam phaser repair, heater hose replacement, wheel bearing/IWE replacement, driveshaft repair, and engine diagnostic work approved through warranty processes. Symptoms prior to failures included overheating, vibration, excessive fan noise, whining while driving, and transmission jerking. The vehicle and components are available for inspection upon request. The repeated overheating events combined with drivetrain and engine failures raise concern that this vehicle may have an underlying safety-related defect that could result in sudden loss of power or engine failure while operating in traffic.Read more

Vehicle: Dodge Charger GT Recall: SABIC Side Airbag Inflator Replacement Dealer: ourisman chrysler dodge jeep ram of clarksville, maryland Date of Recall Repair: feb 27, 2026 Complaint Description: After the dealer performed the SABIC inflator recall on my Dodge Charger GT, the vehicle immediately developed new electrical failures that were not present before the repair. As soon as I picked up th

These failures occurred directly after the recall repair, indicating the dealer likely damaged or disconnected wiring inside the A‑pillar/B‑pillar or roof harness while accessing the inflator. This creates a safety hazard, especially at night, because the right exterior lighting is inoperative and interior lighting does not function. How do i know where my next turn is when i am driving to a destination with my children and this is the first time i have ever seen, much less been on this road? It sucks!! And my android auto is no longer an option... music?? The safety i could put myself and others in by having to look at and use my phone to change songs, artists, podcasts, make a call or change a gps route... not cool! Also the "fog light" running light on my passenger side does not work at times despite having changed the bulb, wiring, even though the fog light works just fine? And i have often felt like my transmission was slipping when accelerating from stop signs or at other times and that is insane considering the vehicle had less that 50k miles at the time. I want to love my Jeep like i once did yet all this has me questioning whether i would even ever purchase another Jeep. I also feel like my front end is loose and there is a wobbling and have had the mechanic check several times. It doesn't sound safe or feel safe. Yet what is truly most important is that i want and need my current Jeep to last me but all these issues kinda scare me to be honest. I want my screen back!!! I want my light to work at all times! On March 5, 2026 my son and I were sitting parked in my 2019 RDX A-Spec SUV when we heard a loud cracking sound and my rear windshield shattered. We got out of the car and did not see anyone or anything nearby that could have impacted the windshield. There were no objects on the ground or inside of the car that could have caused the break. I called 911 to get emergency assistance because at the
... time we weren't sure whether it was possible that someone had thrown or shot something at our car. I also called my insurance company while onsite to file a claim. The police arrived and could not find any sign of foul play but noted a comment report to document the incident. We had to drive the car home with shattered glass falling into our car as we drove very slowly home. We were shaken and very confused as to why and how this could have happened. When I got home I Googled, "RDX" and before I could type in anything else, HUNDREDS of customer complaints including news coverage of the very same incident I experienced showed up. Acura/Honda KNEW about this and had issued Service Bulletin (22-014) on 10/28/2022 but never directly informed customers that this could happen. There is no recall, no light indicators, no warning. I was in the car with my son. We could have been on the highway or anywhere when our windshield shattered. I contacted an Acura Dealership and they indicated that I was responsible as the customer. Now, I am having to pay $500 out of pocket in order for my insurance to cover the damages. This may also cause my insurance rate to increase. This is a terrible safety issue and Honda/Acura failed to inform customers and take responsibility for a known, well-documented safety issue.Read more

I was driving on Interstate 20 in the third lane from the right of four total lanes when my truck suddenly lost all propulsion while attempting to pass another vehicle. The engine did not shut off, but it immediately dropped to very low RPM and the accelerator pedal no longer controlled the vehicle’s power. Multiple engine warning lights illuminated at the same time. I immediately activated my
... hazard lights and attempted to maneuver the vehicle across traffic to reach the shoulder. Because the vehicle had no propulsion, this created a dangerous situation in active interstate traffic. Several vehicles had to take evasive action and I experienced multiple near-collisions while trying to reach the shoulder. After safely stopping, I had the vehicle towed to my home and later towed again to the dealership at my own expense. The day before this incident, I received a recall notice in the mail related to this issue: Safety Recall 66A/23V-411. However, the dealership has informed me that my vehicle is only covered under recall 66A (a software update) and not recall 73A, which involves replacement of the tone wheel component. Based on the symptoms experienced and the dealership’s diagnosis, the tone wheel requires replacement. However, the dealership states that this repair is not covered under the recall currently assigned to my vehicle. Given that this failure caused a sudden and complete loss of propulsion at highway speed, I believe this issue is directly related to the safety concern described in the recall and poses a serious safety risk. I am requesting that NHTSA review whether the recall coverage for this issue is adequate and whether vehicles experiencing this failure should also be covered for tone wheel replacement.Read more

The 10 speed transmission is this truck shifts horribly. It will stall in intersections as it works its way thru 3 or 4 gears shifting away while refusing to move faster than a crawl. It has occasionally jerked harshly into 2nd gear at ONE(1) mile per hour. When you are coasting towards a traffic light it will jerk violently downshifting from 4th to 3rd. That downshift feels like the rear brak
... es are dragging. All of these behaviors occur at any point in city driving, making it risky to make a left turn in traffic and making passengers uncomfortable when riding, at any time they can be jerked any which way while riding in the truck. To make matters worse, the traffic warning lights on the mirrors will lite and alert occasionally when there is no traffic anywhere near the truck. This has happened on remote roads where there are no other vehicles, plants, shrubs or signs anywhere near the roadway. This truck is uncomfortable to drive and feels unsafe. I believe it is all related to the poorly made and engineered transmission.Read more

During a winter freeze event, the vehicle was unable to climb a slight incline despite being equipped with all-wheel drive. The rear wheels did not appear to be receiving power, and the vehicle experienced significant wheel slip under light throttle input. This occurred in normal driving conditions and was unexpected given the vehicle’s AWD system. There were no warning lights, diagnostic messa
... ges, or fault indicators displayed on the instrument cluster at the time of the incident. The lack of any driver notification made it difficult to identify that the AWD system was not functioning properly. After experiencing the issue, the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealership for inspection. The initial assessment did not identify a problem. However, after further review and comparison with a properly functioning vehicle, the dealership confirmed a failure within the SH-AWD system. The affected components were replaced under warranty. The failed components should be available for inspection upon request. The safety concern stems from the absence of warning indicators combined with the loss of intended AWD functionality. In low-traction conditions, the inability of the system to properly distribute power can increase the risk of loss of control, reduced acceleration capability, or inability to safely merge or climb inclines. No prior warning lamps or alerts were presented before the incident.Read more
