June 2, 2025 –Started slowing for stoplight and left turn. Car again was not slowing down as expected when braking so I pressed harder on the brake pedal. Just over 1 week ago, I was leaving a parking lot and driving back to my home when my car wouldn't accelerate past about ~10-15 miles per hour and wasn't shifting gears. ... no engine light or other warnings. I quickly pulled into the turn lane where there wasn't traffic and turned the car off and back on. It was the same but luckily I was in eyes view of my apartment, so I drove under 10 mph and made it home. I took the vehicle to a transmission service center and the error code that came up on the computer was (P0500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor A), which the service center said is an issue with the "valve body" inside the transmission, specifically the "TCM - Transmission Control Module" that sits on top of the valve body. I contacted multiple Infiniti service centers and they all confirmed that the valve body for my vehicle (part# 31705-x133a) is back ordered by over a month and could be longer until they have it. They do not sell the Transmission Control Module separately. The valve body was quoted to me for $2200 for the part alone. I attempted to install an aftermarket valve body and a new error code came up on the computer (PO720 - Output Speed Sensor Circuit). I kept the original valve body and will hold onto it. Doing some more research, this appears to be a common issue with the Infiniti Q50 - [XXX] In addition to the reddit thread above, a quick google search for Infiniti Error codes P0500 and PO720 point to multiple sources indicating the same common experience and outcome. My vehicle has 110k miles and users in the reddit comments are also reporting the same issue with the TCM Transmission Control Module occurring between 85k - 100k miles in all cases. the VCM motor has a "coupler" that operates intake manifold runner, this coupler brakes apart , causing vehicle to loose engine power, engine light comes on, code P200. kia dealer recommends to replace the intake manifold that comes with new VCM motor, if you replace it you're self then you need to take vehicle to kia dealer to have them update software for the new VCM.

Following completion of the Y78 (high-pressure fuel pump) and XQ1 (emissions) recall repairs in April 2024, our 2019 Ram 2500 immediately began experiencing misfires, fuel system issues, and ongoing performance problems. These symptoms have persisted for over a year and have never been resolved despite repeated service visits and escalations. The vehicle suffered multiple HPFP failures, including
... one that caused fuel to leak into the crankcase, resulting in approximately 19 quarts of fuel-contaminated engine oil. Despite technical service bulletins calling for specific system flushes and tests post-repair, the original dealership did not follow these protocols or provide documentation confirming that the required inspections (fuel pressure, contamination checks, EGR/DPF/DEF system functionality) were ever completed. A new dealership confirmed the presence of metal debris after the fuel filter, suggesting the system was still contaminated even after the prior recall-related flush and HPFP replacements. They also found non-functional emissions components covered under XQ1, including a failed DPF urea pump and a faulty NASA pressure sensor. These failures were not documented or addressed by the original repair facility. Despite these clear safety risks, the recall is considered “completed,” leaving us with a vehicle that is still experiencing symptoms consistent with the original recall condition. The failure to properly inspect, document, and address these defects has placed our safety at risk and caused prolonged loss of vehicle use. Thank you for a chance to file this information. The cruise speed control and lane keeping systems are not working consistently and properly. They fail every week when tested. So far - the dealer-warranty fixes have not been the remedy needed. The cruise control system on steeper slopes doesn't provide braking to stay at the set speed - and at times it doesn't provide any braking resistance -

I had a A1 service completed on 5.23.25 with Mercedes Benz dealership in Sourh San Francisco. 2233 Gellert Blvd. On [XXX] 48 hrs later as I was leaving working- 4-5 blocks before entering the freeway, my car suddenly struggled to drive over 20MPH and the check engine light came on. I was told it needed a software update and there was a bulletin that came out in 2024 recommending to have the update and I needed to pay to have it repaired by performing a hard/soft upgrade . No empathy was evident . I said I knew nothing about it - dealership said they weren’t obligated to advise. I could have been in a collision or caused and accident and seriously injured had it occured while on freeway . This should be a recall as my life was at risk and so are others driving this year, make and model. The Mercedes Rep. told me she tested the car and was surprised by how it struggled to get past 20 mph, she thought maybe the mechanic had made an error a few days before. I feel very lucky I wasn’t in an accident- or a worst seriously injured! This bulletin warning should be a recall and looked into for a future recall that could save life’s. Knowing, this is a risk for a possible accident , it’s unacceptable that it is only a bulletin and not mandatory to share with owners of the this car. This was very scary and stressful situation. I was stuck in an area in Oakland, Ca known for high crime. In the end Mercedes waived the repair fee, they said under the circumstances and how my life was put as risk . I bought a 2025 Hyundai Tucson with adaptive cruise control. The first time I used the cruise control I was on the highway with a lot of traffic. I was in pace with the traffic then the all of a sudden the cruise control shut off. The car suddenly started to slow down and I had to do some quick maneuvering not to get into an accident. I reset it again and after a half minute or so it shut down
... again. There was a warning message on the dash that said it couldn't see the driver's face. I was perplexed. It happened a few more times. I noticed a camera on the steering column aimed toward me. I was wearing sunglasses and thought that maybe it couldn't see my eyes. I took the sunglasses off and it stayed on. I took them off and it worked again. I reported it to the dealer. They said there was nothing wrong and that it was a safety issue. I talked to Hyundai corporate. They said to talk to the dealer who then told me to talk to Hyundai. Back and forth it went for months. They say you can shut off the feature but when you do it still happens. I was told not to wear sunglasses while driving (on the highway in Arizona!). I am now told it's a safety feature and can't be shut off. I was told not to wear polarized sunglasses (which I don't have). I've tried several pairs and types. Nothing works. Hyundai has clearly designed what they thought would be a safety feature that is a hazard. You can't drive in glaring sun without eye protection. You can't trust the cruise to remain on if you wear eye protection including prescription sun glasses. There are a lot of complaints online and in their forum about this. Please help me.
