There is another issue with the settings of the vehicle randomly changing to Euro type metric settings. The clock changing to 24 hour, tire pressure changing to kpa? mph changing to kph, all the different unit of measurements changing over. Randomly, not at the same time but consistently every few weeks. At first it seemed like it was connected to a monthly software update, but now its random. The vehicle has been taken to a Jeep dealership in Sherman, tx about the issue of the Forward collision system and they fixed it. Then the problem reappeared a month afterward. I've called and they confirm that the correct US software is installed. I am the only driver of the vehicle, so no one else is changing the settings. I work a full time 9-5 job and do not work close to a dealership, which has become an issue for these matters. All the issues I have had with the vehicle seem to be related to them updating the software without my approval. Currently my vehicle has 71k miles on it and won't be covered by the 50k warranty. ... a semi truck right behind my vehicle in moderate traffic! The semi slammed brakes on and after initial shock, I was able to accelerate the vehicle somewhat to avoid a collision. The dealership claims that "ALL" new vehicles do this when operated in wintery weather, snow, or mud kicked up from the road, or when sensors get iced over. They claim that there is NO reprogramming that can be done to fix this HUGE safety issue. I have NEVER heard of this or experienced this in any other vehicle other than this Hyundai Santa Fe! As a disabled veteran, this honestly scared the hell out of me and makes me very leery to operate the vehicle in the wintertime time and I am the primary driver for the family! At the time of the incident, it was not snowing, the temperature was approximately 36 degrees, and the roadways were clear of snow or ice! The only thing that could be noted was that the roadway was wet, and after stopping, there was sand or salt film in the front of the vehicle. As a disabled veteran with a lower back injury and radicular pain down both legs, I rely on a vehicle's cruise control when driving more than short distances, in order to not cause lower back or leg pain while driving! This issue with the cruise control stopping operation and not allowing the cruise to be restarted is both a HUGE safety issue for both the operator and all vehicles around/near the vehicle on/at highway speeds, and a violation of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). With no way to reprogram or reset this awful feature, the Hyundai Santa Fe is unsafe for disabled individuals.Read more

After 2 days in the shop, the service advisor just called me and stated that it's the clutch pedal push rod that snapped and the entire pedal assembly need to be replaced, which would not be covered. I asked him and he confirmed it's not a common thing to break at the low miles (14741 miles on the vehicle) but I need to reach out to Dodge Customer Service to see if it would fall under "defective parts" claim. Please help me open a case and take care of this issue. It is a very serious safety issue if the rod would just snap like that during normal vehicle operation. This could have needed very badly. ... rk/stumble. 8/28/25 to 9/15/25: Car jerking and flashing check engine light back on. Took to Autozone. A Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Code was detected (P0300). Took to dealership and confirmed P0300 Code stored. GM TAC engineers involved. Told they were unable to figure out why car was having multiple misfires. Returned car to me because no active code/light. 9/29/25: Car jerking and flashing check engine light back on. Got a warning of "reduced acceleration and drive with care." Car lost power. I have video of this and contacted On Star with report generated and P0300 code. On 10/1/25 on way to dealer, car making audible ticking noise. I have video of this. Took to dealer, the ECM was replaced and oil changed because it was "very dark" (in vehicle with 4,600 miles). Car continued to jerk/stumble. Told by dealer that problem would have to get worse before diagnosis could be made. 10/31/25: Jerking and another flashing check engine light with "reduced acceleration drive with care warning." Turned car off and engine light off. On Star report P0300. Took to dealer. The dealership was given the videos of check engine lights/reduced acceleration warnings and ticking noise video. All show problem happening around 1,200 rpms. Told by dealer on 11/11/25 that GM rep said they will not pay dealer for any work because no active engine light/codes. Told to pick up car. Asked dealer today for reason in writing, but no response. Very concerned about vehicle safety when repeatedly going into limp mode and flashing check engine lights with GM offering no solution.Read more

It had been serviced at Autopark Honda Service Center on September 19, 2025, including a transmission service, and nothing abnormal (such as debris or metal) was noted or communicated to me. After the incident and I had my car towed to Autopark Honda, I was informed that the transmission had failed. I later learned of Honda Service Bulletin #21-047 (April 27, 2021) concerning premature CVT belt deterioration in 2016–2020 HR-V models. Despite this known issue, Honda has refused responsibility because my vehicle is about 10 months beyond the 7-year warranty extension. This sudden failure caused complete loss of power, steering, braking, and hazard functions, representing a serious safety risk that warrants investigation.Read more

I was at a traffic light, car stopped and auto hold when suddenly the car accelerated on its own. I pumped the break several times and the car eventually stopped. I was terrified. I called the dealer and brought the car there the next morning. Dropped it of Saturday morning. I call Monday afternoon and spoke with the service person and he told me they could not replicate what happened and that there were no bulletins from Cadillac. I asked how they tested it and he told me they took it for a ride and also looked for any errors recorded in the cars memory. I said it happened to me once in 2 days so taking it for a short ride will not necessarily repeat what happened. He said they will hold the car and look at a few more things today. I just spoke to the dealer and they told me they drove the car for 15 minutes and found no issues. They also said they are looking for any bulletins on the car. Ford has confirmed that only ten (10) parts are currently on order nationwide and that no loaners will be available until February 2026. The dealership reported that another EcoSport affected by the same recall has been on their lot since July with no repair parts available. We live approximately 68 miles away and have no transportation. The registered owner is a disabled individual with a pacemaker, creating an extreme hardship due to limited financial flexibility and dependence on disability income. We have repeatedly requested permission to pick up a loaner vehicle from another Ford dealership closer to home or to receive a third-party rental (Enterprise, Avis, etc.) at Ford’s expense, consistent with public recall guidance. Ford has refused all such accommodations and has declined to confirm that the delay is due to back-ordered parts.Read more

However, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, while I was driving with my family, the vehicle suddenly stopped, started jerking violently, showed a “battery overheating” error, and then accelerated by itself. I immediately called the dealership and took the car there. It is currently in their possession. This vehicle is extremely dangerous for me and my family. ... eaded for a major lane of traffic. I rode the brake as hard as I could and it continued to accelerate. I threw it in neutral and finally got control of it, just short of the road. I turned the vehicle off and back on and drove out of the field, the truck behaving normally. I finished the trip and returned home without incident. In reviewing the experience in my mind, I can't make mistaking the accelerator for the brake pedal make sense. You can't turn the vehicle on without pressing the brake pedal. You can't put it in gear without pressing the break pedal. And the fact that it continued to accelerate after hitting the charger doesn't sound like a pedal mistake. I have never found the human factors of the F150 to be challenging - it is very straight forward to drive. I also don't think I could have accidentally hit the cruise control. Typically I remove my foot from the break, the car starts and then I put my foot on the gas pedal and the car moves forward. In the situations described above the car just stopped.It just flat out stopped. There’s never been any indication or signal to indicate the car is not going to restart The retailer replaced my battery and said it should help. I called the Subaru factory rep who was of no help. She said she is not a trained technician and all that she could offer to do was to contact the retailer. The dealer was not able to reproduce the problem. The retailer replaced the battery without any response about the safety issue. I asked if Subaru had a safety board I could report this too and the factory rep said no, but she will document it and they’ll do an internal review to see if we have any other similar issues reported, however, they will not contact me because they don’t talk to the public about these issues. I told her there are hundreds of these if not, thousands concerns online stating the same issue. The rep said she would document my concern. The contact replaced the sensor. The contact stated that the failure recurred intermittently. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, while the vehicle was being serviced, the contact was informed that the power steering hose was leaking. The contact was informed that the steering fluid had entered other unknown components of the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The contact was topping off the power steering fluid reservoir every third day. The contact stated that the VSA warning light and air bag light remained illuminated. Upon investigation, the contact related the failures to NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 19V182000 (AIR BAGS), 19E068000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL), and 08V091000 (STEERING). However, the VIN was not included. After reaching safety, I drove the car to an authorized Porsche dealership, where technicians found an active water-pump leak with coolant entering the vacuum system, which may have caused turbocharger and engine-power failure. This is after I replaced the water pump last year at another porsche dealership. A photo taken during the incident shows the dashboard warning message as it appeared. This incident created a serious safety hazard, as the vehicle displayed “driving permitted” even though it was at risk of a sudden loss of propulsion at highway speeds. I have read numerous complaints, safety concerns, bulletins, etc. I am devastated & lost on what's going on with the car & what can be done. I purchased my '05 TL in 2022 & haven't been able to drive it but for one & a half years. I've put so much money into the repairs & maintenance. I replaced the rear & front motor mounts, transmission speed sensor, transmission position sensor, etc. I am now disabled & don't have the means to put into it anymore.
