The car was purchased on 8/15/2026. On November 6th 2026 with 3051 miles on all the gauges, electronic dashboard, gps , climate controls, heads up display failed while car was in driving. The GMC service department at the dealership confirmed the failure and said it needed to replace the radio control module. It took 70 calendar days for a replacement module to be provided, and a new software patch was uploaded after several attempts. The vehicle went over the concrete parking stopper, tore it off, and then crashed into a concrete column at AutoZone. If anyone had been walking in front of the vehicle, the outcome could have been catastrophic. Despite the impact, the airbags did not deploy and none of the vehicle’s safety systems activated. After the incident, I went to the ER due to pain in both hands, shoulder pain, back pain, and pain in my feet. I was evaluated for these injuries as a precaution. A police incident was done. We have a number. Because it was on private. property there is not a report, but they gave us a police incident number. No warnings, symptoms prior to the incident. It was a dry day, not rain. This issue has occurred multiple times while driving on highways at speeds where surrounding traffic is traveling approximately 55 mph or higher. This has also happened while pulling out into traffic, causing near misses of an accident. When the malfunction occurs, the vehicle rapidly loses acceleration capability and slows down to approximately 20 mph. This creates a dangerous speed differential between my vehicle and surrounding traffic. It becomes extremely difficult to safely maneuver into the breakdown lane due to the inability to accelerate. This situation creates a significant risk of rear-end collision or multi-vehicle accident. The dealership has been unable to reproduce the issue during service visits. However, the vehicle has been brought in multiple times for this same concern. The dealership has stated that no diagnostic trouble codes are stored, and therefore they cannot identify or repair the root cause. This was a terrifying and dangerous event. The vehicle accelerated against brake input and created an immediate collision risk. I reported this incident to my local Lexus dealership (Lexus of Fife, WA). However, the dealership minimized the event in their service documentation and did not accurately record my description of unintended acceleration while braking. At that time, I was informed that Lexus had issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) related to this issue but has not issued a recall or broadly notified owners. If the manufacturer is aware of this defect and has not initiated a recall, I believe this poses a significant public safety risk. This issue presents a serious safety concern involving unintended acceleration despite brake application. I am concerned that other drivers could experience similar incidents, potentially resulting in injury or fatal accidents. I suspect that accidents have already resulted from this. This incident was extremely frightening and posed a serious risk to myself, my passengers, and other motorists. Based on my research, similar incidents involving spontaneous sunroof shattering have been reported by other drivers, suggesting a possible systemic defect rather than an isolated incident. The delayed acceleration creates a serious safety hazard, particularly when starting from a complete stop while attempting to make a turn into traffic. On multiple occasions, the vehicle failed to respond promptly when the accelerator was pressed, placing the vehicle at risk of being struck by oncoming traffic. On February 17, 2026, Oakbrook Toyota diagnosed the vehicle with a failed/bad transmission after charging a $200 diagnostic fee to investigate the whirring noise and power delay. This failure occurred on a vehicle that has been properly maintained and has not been modified. Upon searching the Internet, there are many, many complaints regarding the UA80 transmissions failing between 60,000 and 70,000 miles. ... ential fire risk due to oil exposure to electrical components. Despite knowledge of this issue, Honda did not notify vehicle owners and did not initiate a recall. Before the first breakdown occurred, I experienced a frightening and dangerous incident while in traffic. Without any human interference and without my pressing the accelerator, the vehicle suddenly accelerated and moved forward on its own, nearly striking the vehicle in front of me. I had to react immediately to prevent a collision. This unexpected surge was extremely disturbing and appeared to involve an electrical malfunction. Shortly thereafter, the vehicle broke down. After the first breakdown, I replaced the battery. Within approximately one hour of driving again, the vehicle failed again due to alternator failure. I was stranded at night, in darkness, alone, and exposed to active traffic. This created an immediate and foreseeable risk of collision, serious bodily injury, or death. Another car in that area around that time broke down on the highway I was expected to use and was hit by a semi on 95 and the driver of the stopped car was killed. That could have easily been me. A defect that can cause sudden electrical malfunction, unintended vehicle movement, loss of charging capability, vehicle disablement in traffic, and potential fire hazard constitutes a safety-related defect under federal motor vehicle safety standards. I purchased a 2019 Mazda CX-5 (As is) on July 20, 2015. On September 11, 2025, as I was traveling on a three lane highway. I attempted to pass another vehicle. As I was attempting to go around the vehicle, my Mazda suddenly began braking and quickly losing acceleration. The speed limit on the highway was 70 mph. I estimated my speed at the time was between 70 and 75 mph as I attempted to pass
... . Pressing on the accelerator pedal did nothing. I had to try and very carefully steer the car to the right hand side of the road while trying to avoid oncoming traffic approaching from behind. When I finally got the car off the road, this is when I noticed that the car had stalled. The car started right back up and I continued to my appointment. The "radar cruise control" was activated at the time of the incident. On September 15, 2025, I contacted the dealer where the car was purchased and explained what happened. I was asked to bring the car in that same day. The car was supposedly looked over and connected to the Service Dept.'s computer to see if any error sign appeared. Nothing showed up. I service technician was then asked to ride with me to see if the car would replicated the same stalling as it has previously done. We could not get the car to stall as it had previously done. Before leaving, a salesman asked me if I wanted him to explain the "radar cruise control" to me some more. I agreed. The salesman then proceeded to tell me that "the car did not stall, it was simply braking from the activation of the radar cruise control". Being an experienced driver, I told the salesman that the car had stalled as evidenced by the fact that I had to restart it. The situation was not resolved to my satisfaction, but no other offers were made by the dealer. I requested additional diagnostic work to be done, but the dealer refused to cooperate. Vehicle will suddenly apply brakes while using standard cruise control for no apparent reason. This is extremely dangerous as it has almost caused several accidents on the highway. I have almost been rear-ended several times. This is a very common problem and well documented problem referred to as "phantom braking" on Teslas and something needs to be done immediately.

The ABS module failed in June of 2025. Ram originally told me the part was on back order 6-8 months. In December they said there were 100 ABS modules on order for our area. In January 2026 they informed the mechanic that is doing the work that there is still parts on back order and it could be another 1-2 months. I have been waiting for 7 months for this part and there are no alternatives on the market. If Ram does not get a part available for me I will either have to find a used one that hopefully isn't going to fail or be out of a $50,000 truck. The newer Lincoln Nautilus starting model year 2024 has an issue of moving seat positions while in motion. When it is completely booted it will decide to default to the position 1 setting even if you are driving and on the move on the road. So what has happened is from the garage my wife gets in the car, starts it, clicks the number 2 position, is driving down the road while the car is in motion the radio completes its boot up and moves to position 1 where my wife now struggles to reach the steering wheel and the pedals. I was unable to safely pull over because the steering wheel would not respond properly, which placed me and other drivers at risk. I had to continue driving slowly until I found a side road where I could safely stop. I turned the vehicle off. When restarting, the warning messages reappeared. After several minutes, the warning lights cleared, and the steering wheel was no longer locked but felt loose and unstable ("wobbly"). I cautiously resumed driving. After several minutes, the steering began to feel normal again. The following warnings were displayed: Hill Start Assist problem, Trailer Stability Assist problem, Hill Descent Control problem, Adaptive Cruise Control problem, Lane Keeping Assist problem, Collision Mitigation Braking System problem, Road Departure Mitigation problem, Low Speed Braking Control problem, Auto High-Beam problem, Electric Power Steering system problem – Steering Assist Not Available, and "Stop. Steering assist reduced. Stop driving when safe." The failed component appears to be the Electric Power Steering system and related driver-assistance systems. The vehicle is available for inspection. ... immediately upon every startup. Mid-Drive Danger: Systems have deactivated multiple times while in motion, causing sudden, unpredictable loss of driver-assist features at highway speeds. Total Loss of Control: Both Adaptive and Standard Cruise Control are completely disabled, forcing manual-only operation. Infrastructure Failure: The failure prevents the vehicle from recognizing lane markings (RDM/LKAS), leaving the car unable to assist in steering corrections. Safety Risk: The vehicle can no longer perform emergency braking or provide collision alerts, significantly increasing the risk of high-speed crashes. This is a premature failure of a non-wear safety electronic at 91k miles. It is a severe safety defect that leaves the vehicle unequipped with the crash-prevention technology it was designed to have. Manufacturer Response: American Honda (Case #16167889) and NCDS (Case #XXX) denied assistance, citing the expired 3yr/36k warranty. I contend this is an extension of the known electrical architecture defects in this model year (e.g., Recall 23V-431), and a component intended for the life of the vehicle should not fail such that it disables multiple safety systems simultaneously.
