I drove the car to work with no issues. I left work a little over 9 hours later. I was able to enter car without issues. Turned on car and didn’t notice any issues. My phone connected as usual via CarPlay and I navigated home. Leaving the work area is low speed, so I never exceeded 20 mph and just went by feeling, but once I was on a more open stretch of road, I noticed that the instrument clu

After closer examination (mind you I was driving while figuring this stuff out), I noticed that the instrument cluster would update once in say 10seconds or so (but it was variable). I tried to set cruise control to initiate blue cruise, but I couldn’t tell what speed cruise control was being set to due to this enormous lag. I also wasn’t sure if the system would also exhibit this lag. Finally, I noticed that even the lights indicator for the blinker would refresh very slowly but the audible “click” associated with the blinker was normal. There is an active parts recall for some Gladiators, Recall 26A, for the right rear axle shaft. This part on my vehicle has been failing for over 6 months. The ABS system, Traction Control, and 4WD system have active fault codes, preventing these systems from working as intended. ... during normal driving conditions, causing the vehicle to become inoperable. In each of these incidents, I was travelling in a straight line, on dry roads, when the traction control system activated, preventing all acceleration to occur. In the first occurrence I was in a tunnel, and unable to pull over as there was no shoulder. This was driving in a straight line, accelerating up to about 15 mph before the traction control kicked in and disabled the drive train. Traffic was able to safely pass me while I coasted through the tunnel with my hazards on. Turning the vehicle off, then back on was the only way to cure this condition. The next 2 times were both at unprotected stop signs, meaning cross traffic did not have a stop sign. When I pulled out into the middle of the road, the traction control activated, causing the vehicle to lose forward momentum and power. One of these incidents, traffic did have to slow and alter course to account for my vehicles failure in the road. During the 6 months of the axle going out, the ABS system triggers at intermittent times during normal driving/braking conditions. I have tried working with the dealership where I purchased the vehicle, and with Chrysler directly. Both parties deflect responsibility to the other, stating there is no way to help escalate these problems because they are a recall item. I have been directed to wait for parts and to continue driving the vehicle, despite it seeming like a safety risk.Read more

My New 2023 Nissan Rogue encountered a warning "Engine Malfunction Power reduced Service Now" after the car was driven 4600 miles in July 28th 2023. Reached out to Nissan Motors Customer Service and they did'nt give any solution and asked me to report the issue to the dealer if the issue resurfaces again. My family of 3 have a single car and I feel unsafe to drive this car with a 22 month old infant. When the issue occurs it becomes very risky and unsafe to even change lanes as the car does not move more than 15 miles an hour. Both the times when this issue occurred, huge traffic jam is caused on the road, at the back of my car since the car doe not accelerate and I am subjected to frequent honking. I followed up with R&H Spring and Truck repair, 4806 W Hurley Pond Rd, Wall Township, NJ 07719. R&H is familiar with the issue and the Vehicle is currently scheduled to be diagnosed. The recommendation is to change most of the front end because no one issues causes this to happen. The vehicle has less that 44, 000 miles on it and clearly a design issue. I have been In law enforcement for 30 years and have never experienced anything like this. I have been trained in all types of advanced driving course throughout those years. On the flip side, once on I-81, it thought the speed limit was 35mph and quickly slammed on the brakes to slow to 35mph from 70mph. Both are quickly overridden by the driver tapping the brake and cancelling the cruise control. However, both could lead to hazards to other drivers potentially resulting in a wreck, especially the sudden slow to 35mph on the interestate. The dealership says "Yea, it happens and people complain". I have no idea why the speed changes, there are no road signs or other indications to even cause the system to re-evaluate its settings. Ford says Intelli-Cruise uses road signage and other ways to also determine speed (whatever that means). This is a safety issue that needs to be remedied by Ford. I purchased a new 2018 Ram Truck with an ECO Diesel engine. The engine has undergone multiple recall repairs including one for the EGR that could cause a potential fire hazard. The truck has been in service for multiple engine related issues since I purchased the vehicle. It has continuously had a rampant smell of antifreeze inside the cab of the vehicle which has made me feel sick on occasions
... and I must open the windows even in the winter months. After only 66,000 miles my truck suffered a catastrophic engine failure. Although Stellantis replaced the engine under warranty, the new engine only had a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty. 2 years has passed and the warranty is now no longer active and I am personally responsible for any repairs. My truck with the new engine has just over 60,000 miles and is suffering the same issues as the original engine even though it was just fixed for these issues 4,000 miles ago. It again has the smell of coolant and diesel in the cab. The vehicle is dangerous to drive due to throttle control and temporary engine stalls. I have to rely on my children to drive me around, rent a car or use Uber. I have also complained multiple times to Ram service departments that this vehicle loses power and stalls while normal functioning. They keep telling me this is normal function of the engine. There is now a “Loss of Crankshaft Position” recall which also causes a catastrophic engine failure. The fix issued does not save the engine from this catastrophic failure but only allows the vehicle not to stop abruptly at the time of failure. Basically, I am driving a time bomb waiting for a catastrophic engine failure. I understand this engine is being discontinued and I wont even by able to repair this vehicle if something happens again in the future. Currently the vehicle is unoperable.Read more

I bought this car brand new, and it currently has 90,000 miles on it. I'm just reporting the failure of my HRU as many RAM owners have experienced. The dealer ship replaced the part with the new model. When this fails it happened at highway speeds disabling the cruise control while towing a trailer. Becuase of busy traffic and under heavy weight when the truck fell on its face. I was almost rear-ended due to the sudden loss of speed. Very dangerous when towing.

The front wiper blades get stuck when in use. This most often occurs when they are at their upper most point, but happens in a lower position as well. I had a previous issue where the left blade components had to be replaced because of stripped nuts/gears. This does not appear to be the same issue. Trying to accelerate from 0mph was hit or miss, and any time I went over 10 mph it would shift back and forth from neutral to a lower gear than it should have for the speed I was going, then back to neutral. It loses power or shifts into neutral driving down the interstate sometimes, or going up hills. I almost slid down a hill backwards the other day because I was in neutral (even tho my gear shift was in Drive). Sometimes when trying to stop, the car lunges forward while my foot is on the brake. It felt like I was driving a standard again - not safe at all. My check engine light has been on for a month or two due to an O2 sensor issue, but otherwise I had no warning lights displayed. I had a mechanic hook up a code reader a few days ago and the code that popped up is P07A3. I have yet to take it in for repairs, as I cannot afford to pay thousands of dollars for Ford's intentional manufacture of faulty machinery. I still owe $11,000 on this car, there is no way I can afford to buy another one, or to fix this piece of junk. Happy 2024.Read more

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my new Tesla Model Y RWD, which I received on December 3, 2023. I have encountered two major issues with the vehicle and the customer service. First, I was promised by Tesla representatives that I would receive six months of free Supercharging after delivery, as part of a referral program. However, this offer has not been activated yet. This is unacceptable, as I was assured multiple times by Tesla agents that they would honor the offer and match it before delivery. I also offered to take back my self-driving capability which is available to me for free for the first 3 months. Second, I have experienced serious problems with the auto-pilot feature of the vehicle. I have used it four times briefly in the last month, and every time the car slowed down significantly when it was supposed to cruise at 50 mph. Twice, I had to avoid rear collisions by pressing the accelerator or the brakes. I reported these incidents to Tesla through the app, but I have not received any response or explanation. The most alarming event occurred on December 26, when I was with my family on a return trip from IKEA in Woodbridge, VA. The weather was bad and the Tesla suddenly stopped on the road. I suspect that the front camera falsely detected an obstacle and caused the car to brake abruptly. These issues are not only frustrating, but also dangerous and potentially life-threatening. I am very disappointed with the quality and performance of the Tesla Model Y, as well as the lack of customer support and accountability. I request that Tesla either provide me with a satisfactory solution or compensate me for the inconvenience and risk that I have endured. I had to ask a UPS truck driver to push it to the curb. It was towed to the dealer 12/26/2023. That was the earliest appointment because it was the Christmas Holiday weekend. this is my only form of transportation. I am so glad I was not on a main street. UNKNOWN because I am waiting for the diagnostic test results. I am requesting a manufacturer's warranty because I am under 100,000 miles. 2023 Nissan Versa S has manual transmission. Car will intermittently lose acceleration. ... o 30mph or lower without any warning and will not accelerate. Problem is not fixed by restarting the engine. Car was taken to Premier Nissan of Fremont, California on 10/20/23. They reported: 2560 did not verify customer concern. Road tested with additional technician, drove vehicle in every gear from 1-5 5mph to 65 mph. Also down shifted from there and no hesitation or loss of power was felt. Vehicle moves fine in all gears. All ok at this time. Car was returned to me on 10/24/23. GPS locator on car indicates that car was always parked at dealership for the 4 days and not driven. I connected a OBD code reader to the car's port and it reports Camshaft Position Error but Premier Nissan of Fremont, California refused to take that input saying they did not want to influence their technician. After the "no-problem" diagnosis they stated that they do not see any history of issues on their NISSAN supplied OBD reader. Hence the car has no problem. I am fearful of driving it on the freeway and loosing acceleration which will result in me getting rear ended and killed!!!Read more

The problem has not been satisfactorily reproduced or diagnosed. The Ford service department simply stated that I needed a new transmission. The dashboard goes blank.
