My low beam headlights for the past year burn out every 4 to 6 weeks. In the past 3 months, they began to burn out every 2 to 3 weeks. Recently I went to have my headlight changed once again and they told me that the headlight assembly kits were actually burnt/melted and would need replaced on both sides. The cost of those was quoted to be over $2000 each. I was also told that certain Ford Esc
... apes had a previous recall for this very problem but I cannot locate that recall for my vehicle. Could you please help me in this matter? I truly cannot offered to pay to have that repaired and I don't feel that this is an issue that is from routine use. If it was just a burnt out light I would understand and take care of it myself. The mechanic feels that I should reach out and see what Ford can do. Thank you so much.Read more

I am reporting a recurring and dangerous failure of the infotainment system and electrical control in my vehicle. The following issues occur intermittently but frequently: Safety Camera Failure: The center display screen often goes black, causing the backup camera and side-view cameras to fail completely. This occurs while the vehicle is in reverse, creating a significant blind-spot hazard and ri
... sk of collision. I specifically visited the dealership in early June 2025 to inquire about this issue—and I have video evidence to prove it—yet the electronic fault "magically disappeared" (an intermittent issue) when the vehicle was inspected on-site. Despite this, the dealership still charged me a $300 diagnostic fee. Total System Freeze: The GPS navigation, audio system, and all center console controls frequently stop responding or shut down entirely while driving, causing significant driver distraction. Power Management Defect: Most critically, the infotainment system and audio often fail to shut off even after the engine is turned off and the vehicle is locked. This parasitic draw continues until the 12V battery is completely drained, leaving the vehicle stranded and potentially creating an electrical fire hazard. On 03/20/2026, the infotainment system failed to shut down after the engine was turned off, which completely drained the battery. I had to call AAA for roadside assistance to tow/jump-start the vehicle to the dealership. I have a video recording of the system staying powered on while the vehicle was off. Furthermore, I just replaced the 12V battery with a brand new one in February 2026, confirming that this is a parasitic draw caused by a vehicle defect and not a faulty battery. I am unable to upload videos here, but I reserve the right to present them.Read more

While driving on Sam Houston tollway going 65 mph, I heard a loud explosion scared me and caused me to swerve into the lane next to me narrowly missing the car next to me. I thought I had a blowout I pulled over to the side of the freeway and found it was the sunroof that exploded. This created a serious situation that could have been catastrophic.

I am reporting a serious and ongoing safety issue involving my 2023 Hyundai Palisade that is currently unresolved and directly impacts the safety of my children and passengers. My vehicle is subject to an open safety recall (Recall 292 – ejection mitigation) for which there is currently no available remedy. In addition to this unresolved recall, I am experiencing an active failure of the seatbe
... lt system. The seatbelts do not consistently latch and/or will not remain securely latched, creating an immediate risk to occupants. Replacement seatbelt components were ordered in January, and I have been informed they are on backorder with no estimated timeline for repair. As of today, the issue remains unresolved. This situation presents a severe safety concern. The vehicle has compromised occupant protection systems, including both restraint failure (seatbelts) and an open recall involving ejection mitigation. I regularly transport children in this vehicle and cannot rely on the safety systems to function properly. I have contacted Hyundai Motor America and opened a case to resolve this issue. However, Hyundai has not provided a repair, has not provided a safe alternative vehicle, and has not offered a viable solution. I was offered rental reimbursement, but I am unable to pay out of pocket for a rental vehicle upfront, and the reimbursement limit does not cover a comparable vehicle suitable for transporting my family. As a result, I am being left with no reasonable or safe option: either continue operating a vehicle with known safety defects or assume financial burden that I cannot afford in order to obtain temporary transportation. I am requesting that this issue be investigated, including: * The delay in remedy for Recall 292 * The failure and parts shortage related to seatbelt systems * The lack of manufacturer support for consumers facing active safety risks This vehicle is not safe for normal use under current conditions.Read more

Incident date: May 24, 2025
My sunroof glass randomly exploded! Yes, my safety and others safety was threatened! Glass shards would have hit my face had my sunshade not been closed! Glass shards flew off the back of my vehicles and there was another vehicle driving in the same lane behind me. The road was smooth and there were no potholes present. My car was driving smoothly, no warnings of any sort alerted me to any issue
... s. As I was driving, I suddenly heard a VERY LOUD “pow!” kind of noise from the top of my car. It was incredibly loud, and sounded like a gunshot or a firework on the roof of my vehicle. I was able to pull over to inspect my car, and I immediately saw the damage to my sunroof. The rest of my car stayed perfectly intact, and there was no rock present, no foreign debris, and no mark on my interior sliding sunshade (indicating nothing hit my sunroof glass to shatter it). My interior sliding sunshade was closed at the time this incident occurred, as I am positive I would have experienced an injury to my face had it been open! The explosion from my glass was violent, as it did not simply crack my glass, but instead it blew up leaving shards of glass on top of the interior sliding sunshade – those shards would have hit my face and body when the explosion happened. I have photos of the damage and I also have two dash cams in my car – one of the cams records video footage of the front view of my vehicle, and the other camera records video footage of the back view from my vehicle. The video footage I have recorded also supports my claim fully, and demonstrates that no objects were “kicked up” and hit my car, and the back view shows the shards of glass flying off of my car during the explosion. You can also hear the loud “POP!” in the video footage I have, and it is very clear when this happened. A certified Honda dealership has my car at their shop right now. Honda Corporate has been slow to respond and they are falsely claiming they have never heard of this happening!Read more

I chose the engine and fuel questions as I believe these would be the issue. While driving on the I 10 east towards [XXX] there are areas on the freeway that you drive upward from a flat freeway service to (up hill). Today 04/22/2026, my bronco sport lost drive power from 65 mph to 45 mph which caused the warning lights of the engine and wrench notifications to come on. It was a little difficu
... lt and scary but I was able to get off the freeway safely and park. I looked under the hood and under the car for leaks but there were non found and after about 30 minuets, I got back on the freeway and went back home. Back in July of 2025, I believe their was a recall for the fuel injector system and I think this issue of today is based on that recall. I have not been able to confirm with Ford if this has anything to do with the 2025 recall and I have not seen any repair options. I have however, seen other's reporting the same issue. Description: Subject: Formal Warranty Claim – Spontaneous Glass Breakage and Request for Immediate Assistance Serious and unexpected failure involving my vehicle, a 2025 Honda Odyssey Elite (VIN: [XXX] ), currently with approximately 26,000 miles. On April 19, 2026, I submitted an initial complaint to Honda concerning what appears to be a spontaneous breakage of the rear side (fixed quarter) gl
... ass. The vehicle was parked overnight in driveway when the glass shattered without any known impact, external force, or evidence of vandalism. The fracture pattern is consistent with spontaneous tempered glass failure originating from the edge, which raises concerns of a potential manufacturing defect or internal stress within the material. On April 20, 2026, I presented the vehicle in person at my local Honda dealership for inspection and assistance. To date, no action has been taken, nor has any resolution been provided. This lack of response is unacceptable given the safety implications. Due to safety concerns, the vehicle is currently not in use and remains parked. I am unwilling to operate the vehicle in its present condition out of concern for further damage or risk. As a result, I am experiencing a significant disruption to my daily activities and mobility. Accordingly, I respectfully request the following: 1. Immediate review and approval of this issue under Honda’s warranty as a case of spontaneous glass breakage. 2. Prompt authorization for repair or replacement of the damaged glass at no cost to me. I have photographic documentation available. After a recall repair was performed on my vehicle at Central Ford on 3/5/2026, the check engine light came on right afterward. The dealership has been unable to provide a permanent fix or clear explanation for the ongoing problem. I am concerned that the recall repair was either performed improperly or has resulted in a new defect affecting the vehicle’s reliability and potentially its safety. At this point, my vehicle remains unreliable and may not be safe to operate. I am requesting that this issue be investigated, as the recall remedy appears to be ineffective in my case. The vehicle in question is a 2022 Tesla Model Y with approximately 60,000 miles. Tesla has advised that four bushings on the rear transfer case require replacement. Given the relatively low mileage and age of the vehicle, this level of wear is highly concerning and suggests a potential manufacturing defect. Bushings in comparable vehicles are generally expected to last well beyond 100,000 miles,

Tesla should promptly investigate this issue and consider issuing a recall or service campaign to address the defect. I don’t know how I made it to the side w cars doing 80. I was shaking. I really want to sell this car, but I don’t want some other person to be in danger either. If I knew Hyundais in certain yrs had these issues, I certainly never would have purchased that particular year/model. The vehicle was returned with the hold-down bracket unsecured and retaining bolts missing which was only discovered when my car was assessed by a second Hyundai dealership after I had driven a significant distance. Hyundai's own shop manuals state: "Never allow technician to work on high voltage systems who are not wearing personal protective equipment." Hyundai TSBs for hybrid repairs require insulating gloves rated at 1000V AC/1500V DC. HMA's CPO form (HMACPO0601) requires an "EV/HEV Inspection certified technician" for hybrid-specific work. The ASE xEV Safety Standards state employers "SHALL verify" technician ability to work on HV systems. The dealership's website also claims its service department includes "Master technicians." The HMA training report shows no staff at that level. The Ioniq PHEV boot area contains HV wiring (DC 240V-360V). It originally state, engine repair needed. It said absolutely nothing about the reason I was there, which was what I am now describing. The description in section 3, has been worded incorrectly. It states I said, when coming to a stop, but it is not only when coming to a stop, but even if I am in flowing traffic and have to touch my brakes to slow down at any given time, there is a loud thump sound and a jolt, all of the dash lights come on, all the gauges go to the left, the warning lights are on and it has to sit there, not for a few seconds, but until those lights go back off and then it will move very slowly, until it decides to gain power. The frame of my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has rusted through to the point of failing Maine state safety inspection at only 41,000 miles. A Chevrolet dealer confirmed the frame rust and stated the truck must have rusted sections cut out and welded to be made roadworthy. The
... vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Safety risk: A rusted-through frame on a pickup truck is a serious structural defect. Frame failure while driving could cause loss of vehicle control, separation of suspension or drivetrain components, or catastrophic structural collapse, particularly at highway speeds or under load. The vehicle is currently unregisterable in Maine due to this safety failure. The failure has been confirmed by both an independent licensed inspection station and by a Chevrolet dealership service department. This failure is consistent with a known manufacturing defect documented in GM Technical Service Bulletin 19-NA-255, which acknowledges that the wax coating applied to the frames of 2011–2024 Silverado and Sierra trucks was improperly applied by a third-party frame supplier, causing the coating to peel and exposing bare steel to premature corrosion. GM has issued this TSB but has not issued a recall, and Chevrolet dealers are not consistently performing the repair. I contacted GM Customer Assistance to request goodwill repair and was refused; the representative also declined to open a case. There were no warning lamps or dashboard messages prior to discovery, as frame corrosion is not monitored by vehicle systems. The defect was identified visually during state safety inspection. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this defect pattern and consider a recall, as was ultimately ordered for the similar frame corrosion defect on Toyota Tacoma trucks.Read more

I purchased this vehicle from a private owner. I see that there was a recall on the transmission and since there are no recalls at the moment I believe the original owner must have had it repaired. I am having the same problem as the original recall with the transmission. Since it was a safety recall, I would think that this is also a safety issue. Can a car be recalled again if the problem still

I purchased the car Feb. 2026 from [XXX] in Seagirt. There were no problems with it. In Saturday April 18 , 2026 I was driving on Parkway north. I exited the car right away and starting walking away from it a

Issues with the sunroof frame. I've notice popping from the car roof Acura is aware of this issue they've put out a bulletin but only covering cars that have less than 50k miles and are under 4 years old. After researching I see a lot of people are having similar issues where the screws come lose and the sunroof frame breaks causing some sunroof to shatter.

While traveling at normal highway speeds (55 MPH), the vehicle's battery capacity rapidly dropped from 80-90% down to 10% in less than 30 seconds, resulting in activation of the vehicle's "turtle mode" and power throttling, which made it impossible to maintain posted highway speed of 55 MPH. A warning appeared on the dashboard, which stated, "Warning Power Reduced". The vehicle traveled at approxi
... mately 40 MPH creating a serious hazard to others on the roadway who were traveling at the posted speed limit of 55 MPH. Upon pulling over to the side of the freeway, the battery charge rebounded back up to 75%, but maintained power throttle, making it unsafe to reenter the roadway, as the vehicle was incapable of accelerating to the posted speed limit of 55 MPH. It was extremely slow to accelerate at all, making it from 0 - 40 in about a minute, which again, was extremely hazardous to others on the roadway. Nissan has since acknowledged that this was due to a factory defect, and covered under their factory warranty. I have attached photos of the warning message displayed, and have videos of the rapid battery loss, but those files are too large to attach.Read more

Driving and lost all power to truck annd lost control. Was able to coast truck with no accidents. all lights turned on dash board. Engine stating to make horrible noise. Cylinder 1 had a collapsed lifter which cause the failure. They replaced all lifters on the left side. They stated that batch of lifters were faulty. Requested to have the lifters on the right side replaced since they are t
... he same batch but they refused. They would fix once or if they collapse but since they working they would not change them. Called GMC, reported it to them. The three people I spoke with had no idea about lifter problems and it was the first they had heard of it. Multiple complaints have been reported by customers. They did not want to give permission to replace the right side or extend the warranty. When the right side give out, if I am going at high speeds on the freeway, an accident could occur causing injury or death. I know they have a recall on prior GMC but my truck is not included.Read more
