Anytime I put it it in hands-free control on the highway. Even on the small highway normal strip the car swings left and right. And also when I'm getting off from the highway hello, Francis smells so close and there's a small bump the back of the car is sliding most of the time.

We were driving on highway, approximately 2 miles from home, when we suddenly lost power to the drive train. Eventually it started moving again but after a short distance we again lost power to the drive train. It appeared that whenever it transferred from gasoline to hybrid or electric, we would loose power. We were in traffic and this was not a desirable situation. We applied hazard flashers
... and were able to limp home. We had no way to lock the hybrid into gasoline mode so every time it switch to electric we stalled out and had to wait several minutes before it would transfer back to gasoline mode. Vehicle is currently at dealership for repair but at this time they have not run any diagnosis on the vehicle.Read more

Five days after I bought my vehicle, I was driving down the freeway that was very empty. A small rock hit my windshield, I think… I never saw anything. It caused an explosion on the right side of my windshield and glass shattered inside the vehicle. I made a claim with my insurance and pay the $500 deductible and got the windshield replaced. Two days after I replaced the windshield, a small some
... thing hit my windshield and made a tiny rock chip. A few days later, I went to get the rock chip repaired, and as soon as the technician put the device and started to fill the rock chip, the wind shield cracked halfway across. I have been driving for almost 40 years and I have replaced one windshield and repaired maybe three rock chips. To have had a car for five weeks (two of which I couldn't drive because the windshield "exploded" crack was too deep), and already have paid TWO $500 deductibles and made two windshield claims is absolutely unbelievable. There has to be a flaw in the glass. The auto glass professionals said that they have replaced three windshields on Palisades in the past week.Read more

The closest vehicle was some 500 feet in front of us. Because it was such a violent explosion I believe it was a pressure explosion. I am also very surprised that the glass is tempered and not laminated. I have insurance so I’m not concerned with getting it repaired. I just want you to know I think it a very serious issue. We bought the new 2026 Tesla Model 3 and picked it up on 5/3/2026. The next date 5/4/2026, I was trying to drive it to work. It supposedly backed up a little after the stop, but it didn’t detect the car parked on the sidewalk and still moved forward and hit the parked car. I had pulled the vehicle into my garage. When I tried to shut the car off the car it would not shut off. In fact many components of the car seem to be completely out of sync. The car would not go into any gear. I could not shut the car off. No matter what I did the car just kept running. I finally more or less gave up and just let it keep running for a couple of hours. When I went back into the ga
... rage to check what was happening the car had finally stopped running. At that point I had call a towing service and arranged to have the vehicle taken to Autonation Jeep Chrysler the next morning where I had purchased the vehicle. This was a newly purchased vehicle and only had a total of 78 miles on it. Surprisingly the next morning I went into the garage to check on what was happening with the vehicle and to my surprise the vehicle had stopped running. I then disconnected The 12 Volt battery and left it disconnected for an hour or two. After this time I reconnected the battery. I again attempted to start the vehicle and surprisingly the vehicle started up and all functions in the car seem to be performing normally. At this point I drove the car about a mile to the Autonation Jeep Chrysler dealership and had conversation with service technician. Surprisingly he told me that Jeep has had this problem with other vehicles and the solution is to disconnect the 12 Volt battery for 20 or 30 minutes and then reconnect the battery. At that point the car seems to reset itself and it will run normally. End This car of mine only had 78 miles on it This is totally unacceptable. Furthermore this seems to be a problem with other Jeep vehicles. It is my opinion that Jeep Needs to correct this problem so I will not be stuck with a car that's running in my garage and I can't shut it off. All in all it seems to me this is a software problem that needs to be reworked and corrected.Read more

Vehicle: 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe RST The backup camera and HD Surround Vision system on my 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe have experienced repeated failures despite multiple repair attempts by an authorized Chevrolet dealership. The failure presents as a black screen displaying a red warning triangle and a crossed-out camera icon when the vehicle is placed in reverse or when camera views are selected. The pa
... rking sensors continue to function, but no camera image is available. The vehicle was first repaired in July 2025 (6705 miles) after the dealership diagnosed heat damage to the rear camera coaxial cable located in the liftgate area. The cable was replaced, and the vehicle was returned to service. The camera system failed again the same day. The vehicle was subsequently returned to the dealership, where the liftgate harness was replaced in Aug 2025. Following the repair, the camera system operated normally for a period of time before the same failure condition returned. At approximately 16,500 miles (May 2026), the backup camera and HD Surround Vision system have again become inoperative. This represents at least the third occurrence of the same issue despite prior repairs involving replacement of camera-related wiring components. The loss of the backup camera and surround vision system significantly reduces rearward visibility while backing, parking, and maneuvering the vehicle. Because the condition is intermittent and recurring, the driver cannot reliably depend on the camera system to function when needed. I am submitting this complaint because the issue has recurred multiple times after repair attempts and may indicate a broader defect affecting the vehicle's camera system.Read more

2023 Volkswagen ID.4 (VIN [XXX] ), purchased new [XXX]; now ~20,000 miles. Since the first months of ownership it has had recurring, intermittent electrical/software/capacitive-control and safety failures: the center infotainment screen and instrument cluster go blank while driving (loss of speedometer); the power windows operate opposite to the control input or fail to respond (about 1 in 4 drive
... s); the vehicle intermittently fails to detect occupants and enters standby while people are inside, including while charging; door handles malfunction; and the high-voltage battery has recently been overheating. It is subject to recalls 919A/24V-344 (display software), 57J9/24V-651 (door handles), and 93EA/26V-030 & 26V-028 (battery fire risk), yet the defects persist after these remedies. Dealers repeatedly recorded "could not duplicate" - at times despite video I provided - but a second dealer verified the display and window faults and replaced the J685 display unit and the driver's-door master window switch ([XXX], May 2025). VW's own recall filing (24V-344) states a "definitive root cause could not be established." Dealers also clear the CAN bus / fault memory during recall service, erasing the intermittent codes and making the defects hard to document. These failures create genuine crash and fire risk. No crash or injury to date. Dated video and repair-order documentation available - some provided in packet below. While operating my 2024 Toyota bZ4X at very low speed on the road , I observed a stationary shipping container directly ahead and applied the brake pedal with maximum force approximately 4 seconds before contact. I held the brake pedal at full pressure continuously. I never touched the accelerator. The vehicle came to what appeared to be a complete stop then continued to advance and made physical
... contact with the container despite my maintained maximum brake input. The vehicle's own ECU-recorded Freeze Frame Data (retrieved by an authorized Toyota dealer using PCS Data Viewer) confirms the following at the time of the event: Driver brake pedal torque was at sensor saturation (4,048 Nm — the maximum value the sensor can record) for approximately 1.75 seconds prior to impact. Brake hydraulic line pressure peaked at 12.144 MPa and remained above 7.8 MPa throughout that period. Throttle position was 0.0% for the entire recorded interval. All four wheel-speed sensors recorded 0.00 km/h for approximately 2.95 seconds prior to impact. Steering input was effectively neutral; no skid or loss of directional control occurred. The longitudinal accelerometer recorded a peak deceleration spike of -8.97 m/s² at the moment of impact — a value that requires forward velocity and is physically inconsistent with the wheel-speed data showing the vehicle stopped. The Pre-Collision System (PCS) main switch was ON throughout, with no faults, no obstruction flags, and no warning, pre-brake, brake-assist, or auto-brake activation recorded. The Parking Support Brake (PKSB) did not activate. No diagnostic trouble codes were set. In plain terms: with maximum brake pressure applied and zero throttle input, my vehicle continued to move forward into a clearly visible stationary obstacle. The brakes did not maintain authority over the powertrain's creep torque, and no advanced safety system intervened. This indicates a potential defect in the vehicle's brake-override / creep-suppressionRead more

I am submitting this complaint regarding a serious mechanical and safety issue involving my 2019 BMW X3. On or around January 21, 2024, while driving from my home, a warning signal suddenly appeared on my dashboard related to the vehicle’s cooling system/engine. Due to safety concerns, I pulled into a nearby Wawa parking lot, which was the safest available place to stop at the time. I turned the
... vehicle off and waited approximately 15 minutes before carefully driving the vehicle back home. After inspection and diagnosis, I was informed that the vehicle required extensive repairs, including an engine replacement and cooling system repairs. At the time the coolant warning appeared, the replacement engine reportedly had approximately 59 miles on it. I believe a sudden engine or cooling system malfunction while operating a vehicle presents a serious safety concern for drivers, passengers, and others on the roadway. In addition, I experienced issues involving the shark fin antenna on the vehicle, which I understand may be connected to broader complaints involving BMW vehicles. I am requesting that NHTSA review this matter to determine whether these issues may indicate a broader defect or safety-related concern affecting other consumers. I am willing to provide supporting documentation including repair invoices, dealership records, photographs, and any additional information requested. The frame of my 2021 Vanleigh Beacon 39FFB fifth wheel trailer has experienced a catastrophic structural failure in the primary load-bearing area near the king pin. The frame has fractured on both sides between the king pin structure and upper deck riser in a non-welded section of the frame. This failure has allowed the king pin to displace upward more than 2 inches into the front structure of th
... e RV. Additional structural damage includes: -Shearing of a structural fastener/bolt -Visible separation and movement of frame members under hitch load -Bent and misaligned I-beam near the suspension/equalizer area The failure directly affects the towing connection and structural integrity of the vehicle and creates a serious roadway safety hazard, including potential towing instability or possible hitch/detachment risk. The RV has not been involved in an accident and has not been knowingly overloaded. The failure appears related to a structural/load path defect involving the frame design, material integrity, and/or structural fatigue in a critical towing area. The unit is currently unsafe to tow. Manufacturers involved: -Vanleigh RV -Lippert Components Photos and supporting documentation are available showing frame fracture, structural displacement, sheared fasteners, and frame movement under load. The RV is currently located at The Resort At Canopy Oaks, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more
