My 2024 Jeep Wagoneer Series 2 frequently stalls while coming out of idle, such as at traffic lights. This is not the auto stop-start feature and happens whether or not auto stop-start is deactivated. ... to park, and activates my e-brake. It happens before I press the accelerator so the car is not moving more than a mile or two an hour. This problem is dangerous because it creates a risk of accidents with other vehicles. When the car stalls in this way, I must confirm the car is in park, press the brake, restart the engine, deactivate the e-brake, and shift the car into drive before proceeding through the intersection. This takes a few seconds and if the driver in the car behind me isn’t paying attention and think I am starting to move, he or she could rear-end me. This problem has happened more than a dozen times (so not every time I drive but frequent enough to be a pattern). It can happen when I have been driving for a while and the engine is warm. There is no way for me to predict in advance when it will happen. It can go weeks without happening or happen twice in the same day. It does not activate any dash warnings (such as service engine light or an error code) that I can see. I have taken my car into the dealership twice for idle related issues including once for this exact problem. The last time, the dealership found misfires on all cylinders, both catalytic converters coming apart from the inside and 02 sensors that had melted from overheating. The dealership replaced all of this. My vehicle still stalled on the way home from the dealership. This time, I detected a strong rubber or plastic burning odor when I got home. I was provided a **gas-powered loaner** and was explicitly told that fuel expenses would be covered through **GM Executive Concierge**. Unfortunately, my experience with GM Concierge has been unacceptable. I was assigned a representative but have **never spoken to her live**, despite numerous calls and clear communication of my availability. I have spent **hours** attempting to obtain reimbursement and assistance, without resolution. My vehicle is now **back in the shop**, and this matter remains unresolved. Additionally, although I have paid my vehicle payment to remain current, I am requesting **reimbursement of this payment**. This expense was incurred as a direct result of GM’s failure to provide timely service, a comparable loaner, and effective concierge assistance during a documented safety-related vehicle failure. I was traveling about 45-50 mph and the car abruptly stopped. I sustained multiple bruises from the seat belt shoulder strap and lap belt. I have previous chronic back issues that were aggrevated by this incident. I am still under a physicians care for my back issues (unrelated) but I do believe this occurrence aggrevated these issues even more. I did not want to make a huge deal out of this however the vehicle continues to slam on the brakes without notice and I am fearful that I will injure myself, my grandson, or someone else as a result of a defective vehicle. I took my car to Honda today 1/14/2026 and they were absolutely no help. There was no consistency when I was told how they could diagnose the problem & no time frame was given. The inspection also noted indications consistent with diagnostic codes having been cleared prior to purchase, and the battery at inspection could not hold a charge aiding the clearing of codes. The vehicle had no functional exhaust system (mufflers cut off), creating a carbon monoxide exposure risk that was only mitigated because the driver had the windows down unknowingly to the leak. The service center also reported tires beyond safe wear limits that were not readily visible without lifting the vehicle. Fire department took 12 minutes to arrive on scene and extinguish the Jeep fire and accompanying tree that had caught on fire. All of my belongings inside the vehicle were destroyed and not covered under the vehicle insurance policy. I am grateful I managed to get my kids out of the car and to safety and that we are all okay, but this was an extremely dangerous situation and we are lucky we pulled over where we did. I reached out to Stellantis, and they sent out an investigator, but he was bound by privacy rules with them, and nobody ever told me what they found other than Stellantis sending a letter saying "they are not led to believe it was a manufacturing responsibility." Additionally, there was a police report filed with Napa, CA California Highway Patrol Office, as another car was melted a bit during the incident. There were ZERO warnings that anything was wrong with the vehicle while driving. Nothing to indicate that something catastrophic was about to happen or that anything was wrong at all. Acura TSB 25-033 details how dealerships or independent shops should update the infotainment unit (a11). When followed correctly, the update causes the infotainment unit to fail. This leaves the vehicle with no hands-free safety and GPS functions, in addition to no radio. Acura cannot replace the radio unit, rendering hands-free safety features useless.

... escribed in the recall, it has a different but significant defect: visible distortion when sunlight hits the glass. This distortion creates a warped, uneven visual field that interferes with my ability to see clearly through the windshield during normal daytime driving and is a distraction. The problem is consistent and repeatable under direct sunlight. The dealership inspected the vehicle but refused to replace the windshield because it does not match the exact bubble-related condition described in the recall. However, FMVSS 205 prohibits any glazing defect that impairs driver visibility, not only bubbles. The distortion I am experiencing clearly affects visibility and therefore presents a safety concern under the same federal standard cited in the recall. Based on the recall description and the nature of my defect, it appears possible that my windshield was produced using the same manufacturing process or materials that led to the recalled windshields. My issue may represent an additional manifestation of the same underlying defect. I am requesting that NHTSA review this issue as a potential related safety defect and consider whether the recall population should be expanded to include windshields exhibiting distortion rather than only those with visible bubbles. The paint, there was a recall in the last but my vehicle isn’t apart of it but I have a silver 2018 Hyundai Elantra and my paint is just peeling like crazy! ... ted me to bring my vehicle to an authorized Ford dealership for recall inspection and repair. I complied fully and delivered my vehicle as directed. The vehicle remains at the dealership and has not been returned to me in a repaired or operable condition. After the vehicle was brought to the dealership, Ford Customer Service opened Case # [XXX]. I was advised in writing by a Ford representative that the matter would be escalated and that a supervisor would contact me on or about December 30, 2025. No supervisor ever contacted me. I waited almost two weeks beyond the promised date and followed up by email with no response. When I later contacted Ford Customer Service by phone, I was informed that my case had been closed. I was not notified in advance of the closure, was not provided any written explanation, and the promised supervisory review never occurred. At the time the case was closed, my vehicle remained at the dealership and the recall issue had not been resolved. I am requesting that NHTSA review Ford Motor Company’s handling of this matter to determine whether Ford is complying with its own published recall bulletin and service guidance for this specific recall number, including required inspection, escalation, and resolution procedures. I relied on Ford’s recall bulletin and representations when bringing my vehicle to the dealership. I respectfully request that NHTSA evaluate whether Ford’s actions comply with federal recall obligations and whether recall-related cases are being closed without proper review, notice, or completion of required repairs.
