Despite this, the manufacturer has stated that no further repairs will be approved, and the vehicle was returned with the defect still present. The vehicle has been out of service for more than 100 days for attempts to diagnose and repair this issue. The unresolved noise at highway speeds creates a safety concern because it may indicate an underlying drivetrain problem that could worsen or fail while driving. I immediately applied the brakes, and the unintended acceleration stopped right away. At that point, I called Thompson GMC in Springfield, Missouri, at 4:17 PM to report the incident. This was the second time this has occurred. The first incident happened several months ago on [XXX] north of Strafford, Missouri. While navigating a curve, I lifted my foot off the accelerator to coast, and the truck again experienced sudden, hard acceleration. I quickly applied the brakes, and the acceleration stopped immediately. I called Thompson GMC at that time as well. They advised me that I could bring the vehicle in for inspection, but without a check engine light or warning light illuminated, and without the issue occurring while a technician was driving, it might be difficult to diagnose. I did not bring the vehicle in after the first incident. Yesterday, a Thompson GMC employee scheduled an appointment for me to have the truck inspected. Why This Is a Concern: The system does not account for vehicle state (e.g., parked, engine off, zero speed). A more appropriate design would allow the tailgate to open when the vehicle is stationary or automatically raise the rear window when the tailgate is activated. Instead, the current behavior enforces a strict lockout regardless of context, which can delay access in situations where timely access is important for safety. ... urchased the vehicle new. On that date, it had approximately 34,000 miles on it. The service adviser stated the corrective work would take about 4 hours, but later I received a call from him saying there was a problem downloading the software update and they would need to keep my vehicle overnight. Thereafter, the dealer made repeated attempts to download the update with no success. I was informed they had contacted the Audi technical group, but their response was slow and their recommended fixes had not worked. The dealer says they then contacted more senior members of the Audi technical group, but that has not resulted in resolution of the problem. I have communicated with the southern regional manager of Audi's customer care division to no avail. He only sends polite emails basically just saying "we're working on it." I have now been without my vehicle for over a month with no end in sight. I understand this upgrade download problem has occurred with other Audis subject to the recall, but the fix has never taken this unreasonable amount of time I have experienced. In my opinion Audi USA has totally failed to provide the necessary technical support to the local dealer or provided the necessary resources, e.g., sending qualified technicians to the dealership or taking my vehicle where it can be fixed. This is the fifth new vehicle I have purchased from Audi Richmond, and up to now the quality of the vehicles and servicing by the dealer has been first rate. Many vehicles functions are controlled by the Uconnect screen, climate controls, stereo, navigation and hands free phone operation. The 12” screen for the Uconnect system has a know issue where it goes blank, screen dances around and renders the hands free function useless along with the other critical functions. After purchasing this car used, I signed up for MyBMW remote services. My account portal stated Emergency SOS call button and crash detection services were active on my car. I decided to test, and it turns out it's not, due to the issue in SIB 84 09 22. The car will just receive a call failed message, since it's trying to do voice calls in 3G, due to the improperly programmed 4G telematics unit.

An employee at Thor acknowledged to me that the sticker was placed in error. I know that it was placed on at least one other (and possible many other) Ford based RVs. There has been nothing sent out to owners to warn them of this issue. In the event of a fire or accident this could delay or prevent a passenger from being able to exit the vehicle. Got a tow truck to tow it to Hyundai dealership they told me they will not see it unless I pay the diagnostic fee of $200 and even then they think it’s the engine with everything I described to them. They said since there are no recalls on the Tucson that Hyundai will not do anything for me I would have to pay out of pocket for everything. Had to pay the tow truck again to tow it to my house ($250). My car has all the symptoms all the other cars have that they have recalled. I am deeply concerned about my safety and the safety of other drivers due to a serious and worsening infotainment system malfunction in my 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid. The system malfunctions spontaneously and repeatedly while I am driving, causing significant distraction and creating a serious risk of accident. ... off without any input, and the screen responding as if phantom touches are occurring. I cannot predict when this will happen and have been constantly distracted while driving. The problem first appeared approximately one year ago and has become significantly worse in recent weeks, occurring more frequently and more severely. The escalating nature of this defect is alarming and I believe it poses an imminent danger to myself, my passengers, and other drivers. This is a known defect. Honda has issued Technical Service Bulletins on this infotainment system and faced class action litigation covering 2020–2022 Honda models with this same system. This failure affects safe operation of the vehicle because it limits access to vehicle controls and creates distraction while driving due to the malfunctioning display. It also impacts visibility and usability of integrated systems that are expected to function reliably. The problem has been reproduced consistently and was evaluated by a Kia dealership. The dealership was unable to determine a clear cause for the failure but recommended full replacement of the infotainment system at a cost of approximately $6,700. There were no clear warning messages prior to failure. The issue has persisted despite attempts to reset the system and power cycle the vehicle. The horn stops working when it’s cold and the horn installed does not match the amperage need for the vehicle. It has failed multiple times. I rarely use my horn. It failed for the first time around 20,000 miles. Separately, I have an oil leak that is also covered under warranty. This car has been serviced countless times and it has been in the shop for three weeks.
