I am writing concerning the Driver Attention Warning system and how it seems to be way too sensitive and when it keeps going off, trying to see what is causing this issue. This seems to be creating more distractions than it is designed to solve. From my understanding Kia through a software update removed any sensitivity adjustments which makes this problematic.

The article below appears online, 4/13/2026. I have the exact same problem with my 2020 GMC Terrain Denali and I would like other GM vehicles added to their Chevy recall. They use the same parts within GM's product lines. As background info, I went to the dealer, Matick Buick GMC, 29300 Telegraph Rd, Southfield, MI 48034 on Jan. 14, 2026 for repair. I was told water infiltrated my backup camer

This is the fifth time the auto engine shutoff failed to restart after I stopped my car at a stoplight or traffic. This results in potential rear ended accident as one time it stopped in the middle of traffic on the freeway, another time the car behind me at a right turn light that turned from red to green almost rear ended me. No, I brought the car to Honda dealership and they said no problems. B
... ut this auto engine shutoff that failed to restart has occurred fifth times. Vehicle has been inspected by dealer and unable to reproduce because they didn’t drive it and step on the brake and have it stopped in middle of traffic. There was an engine warning light that occurred twice but disappeared after 1-2 days before my scheduled dealership appointment. I mention this to dealer. The failure happens suddenly without warning once I step on brake without turning off the auto engine shutoff which I sometimes forget because it is every single time I turn the engine off the auto shutoff would reset. I called Honda America back in January 2026 when I had this problem. I changed my car battery already and so it is not a car battery issue.Read more

Following a professional suspension repair at a Tesla Service Center, critical underbody fasteners (bolts) became loose, causing the aero shield to sag and creating a potential road hazard. Upon inspection, the service technician confirmed the bolts were unsecured. I own a 2021 Kia Niro. The rear backup camera intermittently fails to operate. When shifting into reverse, the display screen will either go completely black or the camera will not activate at all. This issue occurs unpredictably and without warning. As a result, I am unable to see behind the vehicle when reversing, which creates a significant safety concern. The lack of rear visibility increases
... the risk of a collision, especially in areas with pedestrians, children, or low-visibility obstacles. I am aware that similar rearview camera failures have led to recalls for certain Kia Niro EV models; however, my vehicle is not included in those recalls. Despite this, my vehicle is experiencing the same or a very similar issue. The problem has occurred multiple times from 2023-now and does not appear to be related to specific weather, lighting, or driving conditions. This defect poses a serious safety risk and should be investigated for potential inclusion in a broader recall.Read more

I am reporting suspected odometer fraud on my 2018 Audi Q7 3.0T Prestige (VIN: [XXX] ). The vehicle was serviced at two Penske-owned dealerships: Audi of Arlington (3200 Columbia Pike, Arlington, VA 22204) and Audi of Chantilly (14839 Stonecroft Center Ct, Chantilly, VA 20151). Only authorized dealer diagnostic equipment can alter odometer values. This manipulation resulted in the wrongful denial of my extended warranty coverage and a $37,567.16 out-of-pocket engine replacement. The Trooper explained to us that he could not do a wreck report because, there was no collision. He did however do something different and provided us with a copy of it. Due to this, the insurance company totaled the vehicle and forced us to find a different vehicle. I am unsure if this vehicle was inspected afterwards by anyone other than the insurance company. The vehicle is experiencing engine-related excessive oil consumption, which has led to failure of the catalytic converter and emissions system. ... engine damage or sudden engine failure while driving, which could lead to loss of power in traffic. Additionally, a failing catalytic converter can cause reduced engine performance, stalling, or overheating, increasing the risk of unsafe driving conditions, especially on highways or in heavy traffic. Yes, the issue was previously reported to a dealership, including concerns about excessive oil consumption. The problem has continued and worsened over time, now resulting in a check engine light and catalytic converter-related fault codes, confirming the ongoing condition. The vehicle has been inspected by a dealership service department in the past regarding oil consumption concerns. At this time, it has not been inspected by police or insurance representatives. Further inspection by the manufacturer or authorized dealership can be conducted upon request. I am reporting a safety defect involving my 2022 Nissan Rogue related to NHTSA Recall 25V437 (engine bearing failure). Prior to complete engine failure, I experienced multiple instances of sudden loss of power while driving at highway speeds, creating a serious safety hazard. In one instance, this nearly resulted in a multi-vehicle accident in heavy traffic. The vehicle also exhibited additional
... symptoms consistent with the recall, including engine shaking, knocking noises, rough riding and hard shifting, burning smell, and warning lights. Nissan performed the recall service, which consisted of reprogramming the Engine Control Module (ECM). However, this software update did not repair or replace the defective engine components. The vehicle’s condition worsened after the recall service. The engine ultimately failed completely at approximately 122,000 miles, shortly after the recall repair was completed. This indicates that the recall remedy is ineffective and does not adequately address the safety risk, as a software update cannot prevent or correct pre-existing mechanical failure of engine bearings. I am concerned that other vehicles with this defect remain at risk of sudden power loss and potential crashes despite having the recall performed.Read more

The factory‑applied exterior paint on the roof panel of my 2016 Acura MDX has experienced clear‑coat and base‑coat delamination, resulting in complete separation of paint layers and exposure of bare metal. This is not a cosmetic blemish or paint discoloration. The failure involves loss of adhesion between factory coating layers, causing large sections of paint to peel away unexpectedly. The
... exposed metal surface is at risk of corrosion, which may compromise the long‑term structural integrity of the vehicle’s roof panel. In addition, peeling paint has detached in rigid fragments that could become roadway debris, creating a hazard to other motorists if detachment occurs while driving. This condition matches a known manufacturing defect previously acknowledged by the manufacturer in a technical service bulletin addressing paint delamination on similarly built vehicles. However, the manufacturer has declined to correct the defect based solely on VIN exclusion, despite identical failure characteristics. The issue involves the engine/powertrain system as identified in Recall 78C for my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. The recall states there is a risk of catastrophic engine failure, vehicle fire, and unexpected loss of propulsion. At this time, the manufacturer has indicated that no repair remedy is available. This defect creates a safety concern because sudden loss of propulsion or engine failure could o
... ccur without warning while driving, increasing the risk of a crash, especially at highway speeds or in traffic. Prior to the recall, I experienced an incident where the vehicle began sputtering and would not respond properly to acceleration, significantly limiting vehicle movement. The issue was evaluated by a dealership, but the condition could not be replicated at that time. Based on the current recall involving engine contamination and propulsion failure, I am concerned that this prior incident may be related. The problem has not been resolved because there is currently no available repair. The manufacturer has acknowledged the defect through the recall but has not provided a timeline for a fix. I have contacted the manufacturer regarding this safety issue; however, my concerns about the risk associated with this defect have not been addressed, and no resolution has been provided.
