The Apple cellular device has a damaged back glass and it is bent midway down the back of the phone (due to accidentally shutting the device in between a car door in 2023). As time passes when this rare event occurs, the vapor is known to cause respiratory issues (breathing issues) cardiovascular issues (irregular heart rate) and mental distress is all associated with inhalation of these toxic vapors. With the windows rolled up in a vehicle, with a damaged apple device having no ventilation to exit the cabin of the vehicle, this rare event can very easily knock an individual unconscious. There has been multiple occasions where I had to pull off to the side of the road, just to rehabilitate myself and allow the vehicle to air out. On 3/05/2026, I was admitted into a hospital in Madison County Kentucky to be checked out for symptoms I was experiencing, symptoms that occurred directly after an apple device malfunctioned. The vapors are near odorless and are not visible to the naked eye, this rare incident has occurred multiple occasions in the past resulting in sustainable injuries. The Apple device has no warning light, No warning message and no warning at all regarding this issue. The manufacturer’s packaging/introduction booklet has no warning or instruction on what to do nor what to expect from a damaged device. This sudden steering input put myself and other motorists at extreme risk of a high-speed collision or roadway departure. I was forced to physically overpower the steering wheel to maintain lane integrity and prevent a crash at highway speeds. The failure appeared to be a total loss of the vehicle’s primary visualization and automated steering systems, leaving me with no digital feedback regarding speed or surrounding traffic while the car was still in motion. Prior to this event, there were no warning lamps or symptoms such as GPS drifting or screen lag. I have since attempted a hard reset and a full power cycle, but the critical nature of this uncommanded steering at 80 mph suggests a systemic defect in how FSD manages hardware or software failures. Evidence of Falsification: The dealership's claim that I left in the vehicle is physically impossible and contradicts their own actions. I have a written email from the Service Manager acknowledging that a dealership employee personally drove me home on April 9th because the vehicle was grounded. Motivation and Impact: This falsification appears to be a bad-faith attempt to manipulate the "days out of service" count required for eligibility under the Washington State Lemon Law. By documenting a departure that never occurred, the dealer is attempting to "stop the clock" on a safety-related grounding. I parked the car at the repair shop, but while adjusting the parking to fit better between the painted lines, I saw and heard a large puff of smoke from the hood area. I immediately put the car into Park, shut off the engine and ran from the car. After exiting, I saw that the car ignited with visible fire under the engine compartment. I called 911 to request fire department help. No damage to any structures or other cars occurred. Q1 Above: No the car is totaled and unavailable for inspection as far as I know. The inability to rely on the Google maps navigation within Volvo, or within CarPlay, results in my having to use my phone to input and view directions, taking my eyes off the road. It also disables to cameras when I need them. On 3/31 I emailed my sales rep asking if he'd heard of others having this complaint, he did not appear to be aware and asked me to make an appt with service center. I brought the car to Volvo on 4/2 where the service check-in employees did mention they were seeing many cars coming in with the same concerns. The technician was not able to confirm the issue but said they would contact Corporate and let me know of a response, which was 15 days ago. According to online searches, multiple other Volvo drivers are experiencing the same. Since we have become so dependent on the driver assistance features, and this issue is now occurring, I have become a nervous driver in a brand of car that is marketed as one of the safest vehicles in the world. I get worried that my BLISS or lane assistance or other driver assisted features will malfunction as well. No notifications from Volvo have been received thus far. On Tuesday, April 14, 2026 I was looking for something in my rear seat and noticed the seat was damp. I couldn't figure out the cause so I goggled it and found out that Toyota had a limited service campaign called LSC21TD03 on my 2017 Tacoma because of the third brake light having a gasket issue causing water to enter the vehicle. ... ehicle had expired in 2025. This water intrusion from the high third brake light can cause mold, interior damage, or electrical issues. This is an issue that Toyota previously acknowledged but has now stopped covering it. I called Toyota Corporate and was again told yes the repair fix was expired. I asked why wasn't I notified and was told that Toyota sent out letters. I told the representative that I never received a letter and was told the mailing was done by an outside company. I asked what could Toyota do to help me and was told to go back to the dealer and maybe they "would give me a discount or reduced price on the fix". The dealer offered nothing. Upon further research I found that several Toyota Tacoma owners state they were not aware of the service campaign and ended up changing the light themselves or paying out of pocket to have it repaired. I feel that this is an issue that Toyota is aware of and they should take care of it. This should have been a recall issue rather than just a service campaign that the public was not fully aware of. I still don't know the extent of damage to my vehicle because the dealer gave me a quote of $690 to repair. I questioned why so much to change a light and gasket and was told they have to take the panels down and clean the vehicle to make sure no mold was there. They have failed to provide an update to the recall and when its potential remedy will be available in a timely manner allowing the continued use of these vehicles, knowing the potential for sudden loss of drive power could lead to accidents with the potential for catastrophic outcomes such as loss of life. ... es will not operate the lock unlock function. It is suspected the park problem makes the vehicle think the vehicle is being operated. It will also not let the remote start function work either. The dealer cleared a code and the problem is temporarily solved. They will not cover it under CPO because they cannot duplicate the problem despite the lock unlock not working at their facility. They ordered a new Gear Shift Mechanism for $800 and I am waiting for it to come in. It has been a few weeks of waiting thus far. It is theoretically possible to have the key get stuck and the doors staying locked thereby trapping all the occupants in the truck. I now carry the spare key if I must use the truck. I can turn the truck back on, lower the window, turn the key till it gets stuck, unlock the door by leaning out the window and then escaping but all the other occupants are still stuck inside till you can get the key out.Read more

The radio/audio system has twice stopped working completely during travel--without warning--which is a safety issue since no emergency alerts can be received. The outage cannot be fixed by turning off the radio or any known practical intervention while the vehicle is moving. Audio reading of incoming text messages also fails.
