The panoramic sunroof shade disconnected from the clips that holds it in place to allow it to be opened and closed. It is now rolled up in the car so the sunroof is always exposed and cannot be reconnected without a full replacement according to the dealership. It can impact visibility in bright sunlight.

The panoramic moonroof on the 2025 Toyota Sequoia spontaneously shattered while the vehicle was stationary. Nothing hit the moonroof. Was told by the dealership that it was caused by a pressure imbalance and although this is a know issue Toyota will not cover it as corporate doesn't see it as a issue. Was lucky the screen as deployed as it caught the glass from hitting the driver.

There was a failure of a rear camera to detect the proximity of a closed garage door when in reverse in a driveway. The result was hitting the garage door and damaging the garage door as a result. This could be dangerous as there was no warning on the backup camera screen and no audible warning. This was a very expensive repair given the garage door was a unique color and design.

... en to the dealership three times for this specific issue and has been out of service for a cumulative total of 36 days. Despite a "repair" attempt by the dealership, the nonconformity persists. The dealership initially attempted to attribute this mechanical binding to the Lane Keep Assist (LKA) system; however, I have personally conducted road tests with the LKA system fully disabled, and the physical "stickiness" remains present. I am aware of NHTSA’s 2026 Recall Query (RQ26) regarding the effectiveness of Mazda’s steering remedies for this model. Even though my vehicle does not fall under the recall for this issue, my vehicle is currently exhibiting the exact failure symptoms that the federal government is investigating as a potential safety risk. The sudden increase in steering effort is unpredictable and poses a significant risk of over-correction or loss of control, especially in highway traffic. During the most recent repair attempt by the dealership, they were unable to duplicate the issue; however, it is very prominent and concerning. There is no warning of when it will occur. If the vehicle veers over the line on either the right or left, the lane keep assist (LKA) will engage to correct the vehicle. In some instances, the resistance is too strong for the LKA to correct the vehicle, and it requires driver correction.Read more

The next day I took my car to a car wash to clean it to make sure that there was nothing messing with the sensor. As soon as I exited the car wash, I got the same quote, driver, warning, assist quote, warning on my dashboard and lost the ability to gas my car. I immediately took my car to the dealer where it stayed for 18 days. They said that they replaced the sensor which was causing the issue. I had my car back for a total of 10 days when the same thing happened to me. This time I was driving on a 55 mph road. Luckily, again I was able to pull over safely. I took my car straight to the dealer where they had it for 28 days. They got the corporate Kia mechanics involved. They tried a bunch of things to fix my car, and eventually said that the sensor malfunctioning was due to the oil being too high. This is on a car now with less than 38,000 miles which has never had service on it. My car has been in the shop for a total of 46 days of the last two months. The sensor just going out abruptly can cause a major accident. Since I have had this problem, I have heard of at least two other cars doing the exact same thing.Read more

I'm not sure the history on my vehicle neither or where it was registered last. I wish I knew when and where the repairs have been done for the recalls that my vehicle may have had. Shortly after purchase, the vehicle became undrivable and has since required repeated repairs without resolution. Despite being unable to use the vehicle, I have continued to make monthly payments, resulting in considerable financial hardship. In an effort to resolve this matter, I consulted with a Maryland MVA investigator, who advised me to contact Kia directly and report that the vehicle appears to have been sold with a pre-existing defect. I have also communicated with the selling dealership, Eastern Motors; however, I was informed that due to changes in management, they are unable to provide further assistance and consider the matter outside of their control. Additionally, I have previously reached out regarding this issue and have not received a response. Given the timing of the failure, the repeated unsuccessful repair attempts, and the extended period the vehicle has been out of service, I respectfully request that Kia conduct a thorough review of this matter. I am respectfully requesting Kia’s assistance in resolving this matter. Specifically, I would like to explore options such as a replacement vehicle, repurchase (buyback), reimbursement of payments made, or other goodwill support. Thank god nothing has happened but almost. I bought my car brand new and 2 weeks into having it I have been having issues with the infotainment system. Its very distracting. Sometimes it distracts me so much that I swerve while driving trying to stop it. It also is interfering with my experience listening to music. Something needs to be done as im not the only one having this experience.

The rear bunk end door on this 2017 Jayco Jay Feather X17Z hybrid travel trailer does not fully latch or lock while traveling at highway speeds due to a known widespread manufacturing defect. Jayco factory installed canvas retainer strips with no pre-drilled holes and no washers causing the plastic retainer strip to crack and fail. ... nt making it impossible for the door latch to fully engage while towing at highway speeds. This is a documented defect affecting hundreds of identical units. Jayco was already replacing these under warranty proving they knew about the defect. Jayco subsequently redesigned the attachment system eliminating screws through plastic entirely — part numbers 0858182 and 0858183 — proving the original design was inadequate and dangerous. The bunk door not fully latching at highway speed poses a direct safety hazard to other drivers on the road.Read more

All of my braking/abs lights intermittently go on and off. My 2019 Honda HRV runs fine but when dealer looked at it they said it was the VSA and to replace would be over $4k. Dealer said eventually my vehicle may shut down if not taken care of. I am wondering if this is a common problem and if will be a recall?
