the backup camera has had a flicker/black screen issue since the car was purchased. after recall 24V480000 was applied to the vehicle, the flickering, black screen and no image issues persisted with the backup camera. dealership says software is up to date and this site shows the recall was applied to the vehicle.

The transmission in my 2019 Toyota Camry failed prematurely at approximately 99,854 miles and causes the vehicle to fail to engage properly when shifting into drive. The dealership confirmed the transmission requires replacement. Because this defect affects the vehicle’s ability to move safely from a stopped position, it represents a potential safety hazard.

The Kia has an active recall sc347a because the side pieces can fall off. Two of ours already have, one of which flew off of our car and was definitely a hazard when it happened. Unknown. The transmission is kicking really bad. There are recalls on other vehicles similar to ours that are having the same issue. It has been doing this for a while now. It shifts hard from 1st to 2nd gear and when coming to a complete stop it also jerks. Also at times the check engine light comes on and it will not shift at all.
