While driving on a very busy highway going downhill when suddenly the vehicle started feeling abnormal like it was going to turn off automatically, heard an abnormal grinding noise coming from the engine the vehicle dropped speed drastically and the check engine light turned on , luckily we were on a part of the road where I merged quickly to the side of the road followed by a sudden engine shut
... down, the safety of myself and 3 other passengers was very compromised due to nearly being hit by other vehicles coming at a high speed on a main highway when my vehicle suddenly slowed down coming to a shut down due to the engine failure, I attempted to turn the car on again but would not turn on, was not getting any response at all, had to get the car towed, the vehicle did not have other warning lights before the failure, the check engine light came on after the engine failed, the vehicle was taken to an authorized Cadillac dealer where the engine was diagnosed as Engine seized, locked up and will not turn over. I received a Recall regarding Momentary Wheel Lock-Up which leads me to believe that might be related to what happened to my vehicle but did not have 8K dollars for a teardown to further inspect the root cause of my engine failure and definitely did not have over 11K dollars for a new engine/labor cost. The Cadillac dealer was quick to deny the possibility to be related to the recall without even doing a teardown of engine also the dealer denied the option to work on the recall repair due to the vehicle being inoperable.Read more

The air conditioning system failed due to recurring evaporator leaks in my 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback. The evaporator is available for inspection upon request.AC failure causes interior fogging in humid/rainy conditions, reducing visibility and increasing crash risk. In extreme heat (e.g., over 100°F), it leads to driver fatigue, discomfort, distraction, and potential heat-related health issues,
... endangering occupants and other road users.Yes, confirmed twice: First in 2021 by an Honda service center (evaporator leak at 41,000 miles, repaired for $2,000). Second in early 2026 by a Honda dealer (recurrent evaporator leak at 100,000 miles, repaired for $2,500).Inspected by Honda via Customer Service Case, which was denied. No inspections by police, insurance, or others. No warning lamps or messages. Symptoms included gradually weakening cold air output and unusual odors from vents. First appeared ~2 weeks before full failure in 2021; similar in 2026, starting ~1 month prior. This is a known defect in 2016-2021 Civics with hundreds of similar complaints. Honda's extensions cover related parts but not evaporators. Total costs: $4,500. Please investigate for recall. Contact for receipts.Read more

When I purchased the vehicle I was told I could use Apple CarPlay, or Toyota's Drive Connect. Apple works better so I've always used that. I am used to having to clear Toyota's pop up ads for Drive Connect several times per week, even once per day. Recently Toyota's Drive Connect ads pops up on screen every few minutes regardless of what hands free app I'm trying to use (navigation, phone call,
... audiobook, etc.). It's distracting which is dangerous and keeps me from being able to use the hands free feature through Apple Car Play in my car. After calling Toyota corporate and Toyota brand engagement, both entities told me the only way to get the pop up ads to stop is to subscribe. The pop ups are dangerous and not what I agreed to when buying the car, so it feels like blackmail to be told it will only stop if I pay them $15 per month for a subscription to something that I won't use that was not a required feature when I purchased the vehicle.Read more

I am filing a complaint regarding my 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV (VIN: [XXX] ) due to an unresolved defect and repeated unsuccessful repair attempts. My vehicle has been presented to the dealership on four separate occasions for the same recurring mechanical noise issue. Despite these repair attempts, the defect has not been corrected. In total, the vehicle has been out of service for approximately
... thirty cumulative days. After the most recent repair, the same issue has again returned. I now have video documentation of the recurring defect. Additionally, during one of the repair visits, I was provided a gas-powered rental vehicle and incurred out-of-pocket fuel expenses, despite owning an electric vehicle. General Motors has declined to offer reimbursement for these expenses. Due to repeated unsuccessful repair attempts and the amount of time the vehicle has been out of service, I have formally placed General Motors on notice under Michigan’s Lemon Law and am pursuing review for repurchase or replacement eligibility. I am requesting assistance from the Attorney General’s office in obtaining a fair resolution, including reimbursement for expenses incurred and proper resolution of the ongoing defect. The vehicle whose VIN and other identifying details are stated above was sold on May 27 by [XXX] , owner of Koza Transportation LLC, to my company, Skyturk Transportation LLC, which I established in the United States. At the time of sale, the vehicle’s mileage was represented as 395,204 miles and supported by video and photographic evidence. However, subsequent investigations revealed that the s
... ame vehicle had been listed and sold on April 29 through BidCars with a recorded mileage of 843,194 miles. This clearly shows the odometer was rolled back by the seller or individuals acting with his knowledge. The vehicle, with reduced mileage, was sold to me at a grossly inflated price. It was also later discovered to be a severely damaged/salvage vehicle, a material fact not disclosed at the time of sale. After I brought this to the seller, he initially stated he would repurchase the vehicle but later claimed he could not contact the person he bought it from and gave inconsistent statements. Information obtained thereafter confirmed these actions constitute a federal offense. Official reports have been filed with the District Attorney’s Office and the DMV through my attorney, and legal and criminal proceedings are ongoing. Due to the investigation, mileage irregularities, and the vehicle’s damaged status, it cannot be sold at this time. My authorized stay in the United States is nearing expiration. As a result of the seller’s actions, my company has been unable to operate and suffered serious financial losses, and I have personally incurred significant damages. I respectfully request necessary actions to protect my legal rights and address the damages suffered.I learned on September 18 that the odometer had been tampered with and that the vehicle I also respectfully request that necessary measures be taken to prevent the seller or any individuals acting similarly from engaging in such vehicle sales to others in the future, and that stricter penalties be applied. COMPONENT: Battery and Charging System SUMMARY: 2023 Tesla Model 3 Long Range lost 15% battery capacity (345→300 miles) in 2 months at 9,816 miles. Comparison vehicle shows this is a defect, not normal wear. DESCRIPTION: Vehicle: 2023 Tesla Model 3 Long Range, VIN: [insert VIN], 9,816 miles Defect: Between September 2025 and November 2025, displayed range at 100% charge dropped from 345 miles to
... 300 miles—a 15% loss in just 2 months. Evidence This Is A Defect: I own a second 2023 Model 3 (base model) with 66,680 miles that only dropped from 272→260 miles (4.4% loss). The Long Range with 7x FEWER miles has 3x MORE degradation, indicating a battery pack defect. Service Refusal: Tesla Service ran “range analysis” but refuses to test battery capacity or check for dead cells. Only provided scripted responses about EPA vs real-world driving, which doesn’t explain why my high-mileage vehicle has healthier batteries. Safety Concern: Rapid cell degradation may indicate failing cells, thermal management defect, or fire risk. Unpredictable range loss creates stranding risk. Request: Investigate 2023 Model 3 LR battery packs for systemic defects. Require Tesla to perform cell-level diagnostics and replace defective packs. Documentation available upon request.Read more

On February 11, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a.m., I picked up my Tesla vehicle from the Tesla Service Center located at 16955 Chesterfield Airport Road, Chesterfield, Missouri following battery repair. After paying for the service and being told the vehicle was ready, I discovered in the parking lot that the hood was not latched and was misaligned. The hood had been opened during service. Prior
... to drop-off, the hood latched properly and securely. Releasing the vehicle in this condition created a significant highway safety hazard. At highway speeds, an unlatched hood can deploy and completely obstruct forward visibility, potentially resulting in a catastrophic collision. When I immediately reported the issue to service management, responsibility was dismissed and attributed to a prior front collision history, despite the hood functioning normally before service. The service center did not promptly correct the unsafe condition. I was forced to leave the premises, purchase mechanical tools across the street, and physically resecure/realign hinge hardware myself in order to safely operate the vehicle. I have preserved video documentation of the hood condition at the time of release, along with service records and receipts. This represents unsafe post-repair vehicle release and failure of final safety verification. I have video evidence of my vehicle after I paid $1170 service fee and inspected the hood not latching. It was too big to attach but I am more than willing to put on a flash drive and send. please call me and instruct where to send it. Thank you. The vehicle is producing an extremely loud squealing/whining noise while driving and turning. The sound occurs at both low and high speeds. It is not subtle — it is loud enough to be heard across a large parking lot. For example, if the vehicle is at the back of a parking lot, someone standing at the front can clearly hear it. It can also be heard as I enter my neighborhood, before I am even clo
... se to my home, and my neighbors have noticed it as well. The sound resembles something rubbing or grinding against something else. It does not sound normal or consistent with typical hybrid system operation. The dealership has stated that this is simply the hybrid system; however, I also own a 2025 Camry Hybrid, and it does not make this noise. Additionally, the loaner Camry I was provided does not produce this sound either. This strongly suggests that the noise is not a normal characteristic of the vehicle. I am very concerned that there may be a mechanical issue that has not been properly diagnosed. At this point, I have been unable to receive meaningful assistance or resolution from the dealership. I am requesting a thorough inspection and clear explanation of the cause of this noise, as well as appropriate corrective action. Please advise on the next steps to resolve this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention to this issue. The system will not allow me to add a file attachment. Please reach out for copies and I will be happy to provide them.Read more

My check engine light came on, I took my vehicle to Ken Ganley Chevrolet because that is where I purchased it. They claim they have no record I bought it there and at first refused service. I provided my loan documents that state I purchased it. Tim was in the service department, I brought the car in and he had it looked at. He said the issue is the turbocharger, which is a known issue with this y
... ear/make/model that GM knows about. The repair was under warranty, completed and the car returned to me. Less than 2 weeks later the check engine light came on and the diagnostic gave the same error. I took it back to the dealership and I got 3 different answers. One person told me it was an exhaust issue that was causing the turbo to overheat (the car is kicking out excessive amounts of carbon monoxide), the second person told me there was no issue and they weren't sure why the check engine light went off, the third person said it seemed like the exhaust and the overheating was a safety issue and it shouldn't be driven. They ultimately refused the repair and said bring it back if it gets worse. I called GM corporate to report the dealership and ask for an actual repair. They told me to take it to another dealership to be looked at. Multiple other dealerships have refused because the case is open with the original dealership. That Ken Ganley Chevrolet dealer is refusing to acknowledge a repair is needed. The car is continuing to kick out excessive carbon monoxide and smells like burning when driving. The engine chugs and doesn't get up to full speed. I requested goodwill reimbursement for part of the car from GM for failure to service and an unsafe vehicle and they have offered no solution because other dealers won't give a second opinion. Vehicle Information 2025 Tesla Model Y Approx. 30,000 miles Purchased new ~11 months ago Incident Description While driving at highway speed, the front trunk (frunk/hood) of my 2025 Tesla Model Y unexpectedly opened. The hood immediately flew upward, flipped backward over the windshield, and shattered the windshield. The frunk had not been opened in approximately two weeks prior to the incident
... . The vehicle had not undergone recent service or repair involving the hood or latch assembly. There were no prior warnings or alerts indicating that the frunk was unlatched or not latched properly before driving. The hood appeared fully closed prior to the trip. However, after the incident once we pulled over, a bolt was completely out of place, as shown in my video. Even if the primary latch was faulty, the secondary latch / catch should have prevented the hood from opening all the way and slamming the windshield. This failure to notify improper latching created an immediate and total obstruction of forward visibility at highway speed and posed a serious crash risk. The vehicle has approximately 30,000 miles and is less than one year old. Given Tesla’s prior recall related to hood latch detection issues, I am concerned that either: •The latch system failed mechanically, and/or •The vehicle failed to properly detect and warn of an unlatched hood. This is a significant safety event and could result in serious injury or death if it occurs in traffic.Read more

This vehicle is subject to NHTSA Recall 25V467 involving potential fuel injector cracking and risk of fuel leaking onto the engine, creating a fire hazard. The recall status shows “Remedy Not Yet Available,” leaving the defect unresolved. While driving, the vehicle suddenly displayed an engine overheating warning and immediately entered limp mode, causing abrupt loss of power. The vehicle dec
... elerated unexpectedly and was not able to maintain normal driving speed. This created a dangerous situation in active traffic and required a safety tow. The sudden power reduction could have resulted in a rear-end collision or loss of vehicle control. There were no prior overheating warnings immediately before this incident. The failure occurred abruptly. A warning message appeared at the time of the event, followed by limp mode activation. The vehicle had to be towed to a dealership for inspection. Given that the open recall involves fuel injector cracking and potential fuel accumulation near hot engine components, there is concern that the unresolved recall condition may be related to engine overheating and loss of power. The vehicle remains under an active fire-risk recall, yet no repair remedy is available. Owners are left operating vehicles with a known safety defect and no corrective action timeline. The defect has not been remedied because parts are not available. The vehicle was inspected by a dealership after the overheating event. The primary safety concern is the combination of an open fire-risk recall and a sudden overheating/limp mode event causing abrupt power loss in traffic, creating a serious risk of injury. Due to this open recall with no available remedy, the vehicle cannot be listed or rented on a peer-to-peer vehicle sharing platform, resulting in loss of legitimate income. The vehicle was previously eligible for use, but is now restricted solely because the safety recall remains unresolved without a repair solution. Owners are financially impacted.Read more

I am the owner of a 2017 Range Rover Evoque (VIN: [XXX] ) purchased from Star Auto Works in March 2025 with approximately 56,000 miles. Within months of purchase, the vehicle suffered a catastrophic turbocharger failure, a critical powertrain component that renders the vehicle unreliable and potentially unsafe to operate. A turbocharger is engineered to last significantly longer than the mileage
... at failure. This type of premature breakdown strongly indicates a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear. As such, the circumstances raise substantial concerns regarding: Breach of the Implied Warranty of Merchantability — The vehicle was not reasonably fit for its ordinary purpose at the time of sale. Breach of Manufacturer Warranty Obligations — A failure of this magnitude warrants immediate manufacturer participation. Sale of a Vehicle Containing a Likely Pre-Existing Defect — The timing of the failure supports the conclusion that the condition existed prior to my purchase. I have made good-faith efforts to resolve this matter cooperatively. However, the financial burden of a major engine repair resulting from a premature failure is not one I am willing to absorb. On November 8, 2025, at approximately 8:23 p.m., the rear liftgate of my Rivian R1S activated via the Rivian mobile app without my intentional command. The vehicle was stationary at the time. The liftgate opened and struck an overhead obstruction. Rivian has stated that the liftgate was initiated through the mobile app and that the system operated as designed. However, this suggests that the app
... or vehicle may permit unintended remote activation without adequate safeguards to confirm user intent or prevent activation in confined environments. If the liftgate can be triggered inadvertently (for example, through unintended screen interaction or background app state), this presents a foreseeable safety hazard. In garages, parking structures, or tight spaces, unintended activation could cause bodily injury to a person standing behind the vehicle, including a child, or result in property damage. Remote vehicle functions should include appropriate confirmation, or other safeguards to reduce the risk of unintended activation. I am submitting this complaint to document a potential safety design concern involving unintended remote liftgate activation.Read more

Horn did not work. At about 67,000 miles on my vehicle my horn stopped working. I took it to the dealership to be replaced and paid for it. Then again at about 100,000 miles it stopped working. I took it back to the dealership and asked if there’s been any recalls they stated not at this time but there’s been a lot of people complaining about their horns and they told me to save my receipt rec
... eipts because I might be able to get reimbursed later. On two different occasions. I’ve been driving and had a car changing lanes into my lane and when I went to honk the horn to alert them, it didn’t work. Now I’m also concerned that I’ve got the same horn put on my vehicle for a third time and that I’m going to have to go back in and pay for a third one. I did reach out to Hyundai USA first and ask them to make this right but they stated they do not have an extended warranty for the 2023 vehicles even though they do have bills for 2020 through 2022. I can get copies of the receipts if they’re neededRead more

Vehicle purchased August 2022. July 13, 2023: Vehicle experienced sudden loss of acceleration while driving. The vehicle would not properly accelerate with traffic flow and another vehicle nearly struck me due to the unexpected loss of propulsion. Vehicle was towed to Kia dealership in Duluth, GA. I was told the issue was repaired and an electrical recall was completed. December 8, 2025: Acceler
... ation failure reoccurred while driving. Vehicle drifted and would not accelerate. A vehicle behind me nearly collided with my car because I could not accelerate normally. After restarting the vehicle multiple times, I was able to reach home. December 11, 2025: Vehicle again failed to accelerate while stopped on an incline. The vehicle would not move forward properly and created a rollback hazard. A vehicle approached from behind and I was placed in a dangerous position due to inability to accelerate. Vehicle was towed by insurance. Dealership diagnostics reportedly cannot detect an issue. I have been instructed to operate the vehicle with a monitoring device installed to capture driving data. Repeated loss of acceleration and multiple near-collision events present a significant safety hazard and risk of serious accident. The issue remains unresolved.Read more

POST-RECALL 25V274 ( & EA25007, EA25001) EXHAUST INTRUSION WITH CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING HAZARD Following the complete engine replacement under GM recall N252494000, my vehicle has developed a severe and persistent exhaust intrusion that allows toxic exhaust fumes, including carbon monoxide (CO), to enter the passenger cabin. CO levels have measured a peak of 83 PPM and consistent reading between
... 20-37 over multiple tests. PATTERN OF POST-RECALL EXHAUST SYSTEM FAILURES Vehicle has been in for service 6 times, over 100 days, as part of the engine replacement plus (metal found in the oil pan). Since recall, the vehicle has had an exhaust smell and noise rattle issue with the following exhaust system components deemed failed and been replaced: 1. Radiator cap (leaking onto exhaust) 2. Exhaust muffler (replaced TWICE - June 2025 and August 2025) 3. Exhaust clamps (leaking) 4. Left exhaust manifold (warped) Critical Finding: Despite replacement of virtually the entire exhaust system, the defect persists. This suggests a fundamental design or installation defect related to the engine replacement procedure, NOT isolated component failures. Documented Carbon Monoxide Levels: Between January 30 and February 3, 2026, I conducted 15+ tests using a professional-grade Klein Tools ET180 Carbon Monoxide Meter. Results: • Peak reading: 83 PPM • Multiple readings: 40-72 PPM sustained for 6+ minutes directly at my [XXX] daughter's car seat position • Testing method: Vehicle started via remote start, CO meter placed in cabin, readings recorded over 10-15 minute periods Health Impacts to Family: • Wife and [XXX] daughter consistently experience dizziness, headaches, and nausea when riding in vehicle • Daughter now refuses to ride in vehicle because it makes her feel sick • Symptoms consistent with carbon monoxide poisoning Independent service station verification on January 30th confirmed "vehicle is dangerous to operate with children inside and needs immediate service." Idle engine restart failed. The vehicle went in idle mode at stop light, whe I got green and moved feet off brake to acceleration the engine failed to restart. It happened on 2/3/2026. I turned on hazard light to alert other drivers I was in trouble. I kept getting message on dashboard to put car in park, press the brake and push engine start. It did not work for a while I stepped out of vehicle u
... nlocked stepped back in then I could start the engine. The second occurrence was 2/7/2026. This was a major intersection. Same thing happened, situation lasted longer, traffic built up behind me I had to call 911, I step out the vehicle to open the hood in addition to having hazard light on for my safety. I tow truck came along. When he open vehicle and got in, the engine started. I was at dealership today 2/11/2026 they indicated no fault was found. While waiting for my appointment today I have been turning off the automatic idle feature every time I get in the car.Read more

On the morning of December 10, 2025, I left my home for an appointment. I traveled for about 15 minutes before entering onto the highway. As I entered the highway, I traveled about half a mile and was scared by a very loud explosion! I pulled over to assess my vehicle and the surrounding area. The sunroof had SHATTERED to pieces, fortunately I didn’t have it open at the time. It was just a mirac
... le I didn’t have an accident from being startled, or receive any cuts or injuries due to this unforeseen event. As I was driving, there was very little to no traffic and I never heard anything like hit the car or window or anything. I called my insurance company and filed a claim. They eventually had me to take it to a Collision Center 12/22/2025. They removed all glass from sunroof, and determined that there was an issue with the glass rack, and it would end up being very costly. My Insurance Provider contacted me to say they would not be able to provide coverage due to the cost and findings of the Collision Center. So they backed out and informed me that I needed to file a claim with Hyundai. So I picked the vehicle up 1/19/2026 from the Collision Center. Then I filed a claim with Hyundai, and was told to schedule an appointment for inspection. I took the vehicle for inspection 1/22/2026, after about a week I was told that the vehicle had been inspected there was nothing they could do. I’m confused as to how the inspection went since there was no glass present in order to check the opening and closing of the car rack. Plus the plastic that the Collision Center placed on it was barely removed. So I picked the vehicle up 1/30/2026. and it’s been sitting in my driveway covered every since. The vehicle has been inspected by a Collision Center, and the Dealership without any success. There were no warning lights of any indication of trouble on the dashboard at any given time, not even when the explosion occurred. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. On February 9, 2026, our 2023 Mazda CX‑9 experienced a sudden and complete system malfunction while being driven. Multiple system failures began approximately six minutes before the crash. During this time, the driver reported: • Total loss of steering • Complete brake failure • No response to acceleration or driver input • No ability to slow, stop, or maneuver the vehicle • No meaning
... ful warnings that allowed corrective action The vehicle became completely uncontrollable. At the crash site, there were no skid marks, no braking evidence, and no signs of evasive action, consistent with a full loss of vehicle control. The vehicle only stopped after entering approximately two feet of water and striking a tree. The vehicle was declared a total loss. This incident represents a severe safety defect involving critical electronic and mechanical systems. A modern vehicle should not lose all steering, braking, and control functions under any circumstances. We are requesting a full investigation into the cause of this failure and whether similar incidents have occurred in other Mazda vehicles. We can provide photos, crash documentation, diagnostic information, and driver statements upon request.Read more

My 2022 BMW 530e is producing a loud, high-pitched noise whenever the heating or air conditioning system is operating, or when the engine reaches higher temperatures. Upon having the vehicle inspected, I was informed that the air conditioning compressor is failing, a known and documented issue with this model. The AC compressor in this vehicle is responsible not only for cooling the cabin, but al
... so for regulating the temperature of the high-voltage battery. I was advised that immediate replacement is necessary to prevent potential battery overheating and to avoid further damage that could result from internal metal debris circulating through the system. The vehicle is available for inspection and has already been evaluated by two independent repair facilities, both of which provided repair estimates of approximately $5,000. Given the compressor’s critical role in maintaining proper battery and engine temperature, this defect presents a significant risk of further mechanical damage and raises legitimate safety concerns. Notably, there were no warning indicators prior to this issue, and although the heating and air conditioning systems continue to function, the underlying risk remains present. Because this is a known issue affecting this model and involves a component integral to both vehicle safety and battery protection, it should be addressed through a recall or manufacturer-supported repair program. The financial burden for correcting a known defect of this nature should not fall on the vehicle owner, and I am requesting that BMW assume full responsibility for the cost of repair.Read more
