The dealership I bought it from (Vineland Hyundai) I have had trouble with before where they say they fix things and they don’t. Last year there was a recall for the back camera not working. I took it in and supposedly they fixed it. Well, a few months later, the camera does not work at all and the problem issues with it is exactly what the recall says. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and
... the dealership and even though they have it in the system as completed clearly it was not done or it would not done correctly and right now I have no back camera. They refuse to help. I seriously doubt this was done at all being I’ve had issues with service said they did things before and did not. I even asked Hyundai if I could get this done at a different dealership that is more trustworthy and they refuse to help. I’m hoping you may be able to intervene and have them actually do this recall correctly.Read more

I owned a 2021 Hyundai Elantra N Line that experienced a recurring transmission issue. In warm weather conditions the transmission would intermittently slip and stutter, causing a jerky engagement when attempting to accelerate. In cold weather the vehicle operated normally without these symptoms. When the issue occurred, the vehicle would sometimes hesitate or fail to move forward smoothly when p
... ressing the accelerator. This created unsafe driving situations, particularly when pulling into traffic or accelerating from a stop. On multiple occasions this behavior nearly resulted in rear-end collisions because the vehicle did not respond reliably to throttle input. The issue appeared to be temperature related, as the problem consistently occurred during warmer weather while the vehicle operated normally in colder conditions. Because the vehicle could fail to accelerate predictably, this created a safety hazard for myself and other drivers. I believe this may indicate a potential defect in the transmission system.Read more

The infotainment touchscreen in my 2018 Subaru Outback has developed severe screen delamination and now generates persistent “ghost touch” inputs. The screen registers touches without any driver interaction. While the vehicle is in motion, the system frequently activates functions on its own, including changing audio sources, adjusting settings, and opening menus. This occurs repeatedly and u
... npredictably. Because many vehicle functions are controlled through the touchscreen interface, the malfunction creates a significant driver distraction. The system may rapidly change screens or activate controls while I am driving, which forces me to divert my attention from the road to attempt to correct or override the inputs. The problem appears to be related to failure of the touchscreen hardware rather than normal wear. Numerous other Subaru owners have reported similar issues with delamination and ghost inputs in vehicles equipped with the Starlink infotainment system. Given that this malfunction results in unintended electronic inputs affecting vehicle controls and creates a driver distraction while the vehicle is in motion, I believe it represents a potential safety concern that warrants investigation. The manufacturer has been contacted but declined goodwill repair assistance for the defective infotainment unit. I am submitting this report so the issue can be documented and evaluated as a potential safety defect affecting Subaru vehicles equipped with this infotainment system.Read more

After a curb impact, the vehicle immediately experienced a no‑start condition. The failure appears to be collision‑related electrical damage in wiring routed through the lowered‑floor mobility‑conversion area installed by BraunAbility. The vehicle was fully operational before the impact and became completely inoperable immediately afterward, with no warning lights or prior symptoms, creati
... ng a safety risk for mobility access. United Access (BraunAbility dealer) performed no diagnostic scan, no wiring inspection, and produced no documentation. They stated they could not identify the cause or access the wiring. Houston Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram produced no diagnostic findings. Their only record, a Multi‑Point Inspection, showed no codes, no scan results, and no wiring notes, and incorrectly marked the visibly damaged left front tire as “OK.” The technician who completed the MPI left shortly afterward, and no further diagnostic work was done. The General Manager, Ben Nash, confirmed in writing that no repairs were performed and the diagnostic fee was waived. United Access reported that the dealership told them there were “two shorts in the wiring harness,” but this was only a verbal statement with no documentation, scan report, or technician notes, and no facility has been able to confirm it. An independent repair facility replaced the battery, but the vehicle still would not start. They reported that the wiring is extensive and non‑standard due to the BraunAbility conversion and reached a wiring‑complexity impasse. BraunAbility stated they conducted a “thorough review,” but provided no diagnostic evidence and relied entirely on undocumented verbal statements. The precise failure point cannot be confirmed because no facility could access or trace the conversion‑zone wiring, but the sequence of events clearly indicates collision‑related electrical damage. The vehicle remains in a no‑start condition.Read more

Engine failure due to coolant intrusion. Ford has issued a technical bulletin to its technicians regarding this issue. Shortly afterward, the warning escalated to a red alert stating that the transmission was blocked. My wife immediately turned off the engine to prevent further d
... amage. The vehicle was then towed to a Ford dealership for inspection. After evaluating the vehicle, the dealership informed us that the engine had suffered severe damage and would need to be replaced due to coolant intrusion into the engine. We have maintained the vehicle responsibly and have documentation of regular oil changes and other maintenance and repairs. When we contacted Ford Motor Company, we were informed that the vehicle was outside the warranty period. We opened a case with Ford’s customer relationship department requesting assistance; however, the case was denied. Although the vehicle is outside the warranty period, Ford has acknowledged this issue in a technical service bulletin, indicating that coolant intrusion is a known problem affecting this engine design in the Ford Escape 2017.Read more

I bought my 2024 Kia Telluride new and have been trying to get Kia to update the navigation system maps since I bought it. The maps and driving/turning instructions provided by their navigation systems are currently (and have been) out-of-date causing a significant safety risk for anyone driving Kia vehicles with these an non-updated maps. A prime example which is becoming more and more prevalent
... is where cities have completed changed major intersections (many adjacent to interstate highways) whereby they reversed the flow of traffic completely opposite of normal traffic flow. Although I have found these changes to be many places along the east coast, 2 local examples for me are the intersections of 1) [XXX] where is crosses [XXX] and 2) [XXX] where it crosses [XXX] Sarasota. Since both of these [XXX] exits in FL now have reversed traffic flows immediately after exiting this major highway (which is counter-intuitive to begin with), Kia's nav system is warning you that you are going in the wrong direction and telling you to turn head-on into oncoming traffic. For 2 years since I've been attempting to get Kia's attention on this matter, their response has consistently been (from their customer service dept, dealer and website which provides the updates) that the updates are currently unavailable and to continue to check back for updates. Please look into this issue and assist in getting Kia to recognize the risk they have created so they can provide a fix for the affected vehicles. Thank You. I am reporting a safety concern involving my 2018 Honda CR-V. Vehicle history reports indicate that the VIN had a prior theft record before I purchased the vehicle. This information was not disclosed to me at the time of sale. After purchasing the vehicle, it became the target of multiple theft attempts. During one incident in November 2025, I was violently assaulted during an attempted carjacking
... involving the vehicle. I suffered injuries and lost approximately three weeks of work. I submitted vehicle history reports documenting the prior theft record to the California Department of Motor Vehicles during a complaint investigation. However, I was informed that this information was considered insignificant because it was not part of the CARFAX report used by the dealership or recognized by the DMV. I am submitting this report to document the safety risks associated with this vehicle and the lack of consideration given to theft history information contained in VIN reporting databases. This information would have impacted my decision to purchase the vehicle and could have prevented the physical and financial hardship I experienced. As a result of these circumstances, the vehicle was ultimately repossessed. I lost the vehicle and nearly lost my life due to the lack of transparency regarding the vehicle’s history at the time of sale. This report is not a car accident it was an attempted car jacking and YES I was injured severely. The system did not let me upload the most import part of my compliant the report of the theft. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally complain about an ongoing issue with my 2024 Kia Telluride, which has experienced four separate windshield cracks in a little over two years of ownership. This frequency is excessive and well beyond what I would consider normal wear and tear for a vehicle of this class and price point. Each incident occurred during routine driving conditions, such a
... s normal highway or city travel. In all cases, the impacts involved very small rocks or road debris, not large objects, construction hazards, or extreme driving situations. These are conditions that most vehicles encounter regularly without sustaining immediate windshield damage. The repeated cracking raises serious concerns about the durability, thickness, or overall quality of the windshield glass used in the Telluride. Having to repair or replace a windshield this often is both inconvenient and costly, and it undermines confidence in the vehicle’s design and materials. A windshield should be able to withstand minor impacts from small debris without cracking so easily. I chose the Kia Telluride based on its reputation for safety, quality, and reliability. However, this recurring issue has been frustrating and disappointing, especially given the relatively short ownership period and normal driving conditions involved. I respectfully request that Kia review this matter and consider whether there is a known defect or design issue with the windshield on the Telluride. I would also appreciate assistance, goodwill consideration, or guidance on how Kia plans to address this concern for customers experiencing similar problems. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response and a resolution that reflects Kia’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.Read more

Mac advised me to contact Nissan's Manufacturing department for assistance. I subsequently contacted Nissan's Compliance Department and opened a case with case number #[XXX]. They indicated that someone would contact me within 10 days to discuss a potential solution. Given that we have only had the vehicle for three weeks, I am disappointed that we are still experiencing this issue and that no resolution has been found.
