While driving on the highway my navagation, internet, gps stopped working. An error came up on the dash saying "SOS emergency call system fault" We were not sure what was happening with the vehicle or if was safe to drive. We made an appointment with a Volvo service center. Volvo service center stated we would need to pay to have this diagnosed because the vehicle has a rebuilt title. The dea

I went to have my car make/model Dodge Charger serviced and when I went to the dealership I told them the problem before they even got to look at it, because it’s a known problem with Dodge Charger SRT models. Stellantis hasn't put a recall out on the part called Mopar Exhaust Valve Actuator - Mopar (68505881AA). There is a detachable spring that can break over time and its a known common proble
... m. The dealership told me that they can't just order the spring like they use to and customers have to buy the entire part which they told me is $700 and $100 to install it. We should be able to order just the spring which is detachable and not the entire part which is not the issue for my car. There should be a recall put out from Stellantis about this known common issue. I've called Stellantis and they said on the phone that they’ve created a case and that was it. I truly believe Stellantis is running a scam and just trying to rake in more money and having customers order $700 parts when they may just need a $30 spring replaced. This rattling noise with the active exhaust for SRT Dodge Chargers is a very common issue and can easily be searched online, but no recalls or warnings have been put out from Stellantis about it. I could see if the spring was not detachable. Its detachable, because it’s designed to be replaced. There are no warning lamps for my car and this issue can increase air pollution.Read more

Vehicle: 2023 Ford Explorer Recall Number 25S49 (NHTSA:25V315) I am filing this complaint regarding a failed recall remedy & my Ford dealership's refusal to re-repair my vehicle. I am reporting an issue with Supervised FSD regarding school zones in Ohio. In my area, active school zones are indicated by flashing lights. The FSD system successfully recognizes these lights and reduces the vehicle's speed to the legal limit of 20 mph. However, if there is a traffic light within the school zone, the vehicle loses track of the school zone speed limit after stopping or cycling t

After the newest software update, the Tesla Model Y FSD now shows a pop-up menu every time you disengage full self-driving. The pop up menu is black, so it contrasts with the white screen and causes a visual distraction. Additionally, the pop up menu requires you to make a selection in order to make it disappear - there’s no way to swipe it away (which would still be problematic while driving).
... Because it’s mandatory, and it is located on top of the volume controls for music/podcasts/etc, you are unable to pause auditory stimulation such as music/podcasts. This happens at the exact moment you need to focus most: when a traffic situation is so dicey, disabling FSD is required to ensure safe driving. This is an absolute safety concern. I tried to disable the feature through Tesla’s support services, but that option is not available. This is a serious safety concern, and it’s frankly egregious that Tesla is allowed to do this. The pop-up menu does not benefit drivers in any way - it’s clearly there for Tesla to collect data to improve their FSD product. They need to find a way to collect that data without impacting the safety of the driver and other vehicles on the road. Furthermore, it’s not even good quality data collection - the variables they provide in the pop-up menu are vague and do not come with definitions. Their quality system needs tighter review.Read more

This model lacks a well-tested turn signal lever, replacing it with arrows on the steering wheel. This method of activating turns signals is fundamentally unreliable and consequently dangerous. As an owner of the subject Tesla for just over one year, I find that I regularly fail to achieve correct activation, even with repeated attempts to do so. The steering wheel control may: Not activate at
... all, even with multiple attempts to activate the signal. I find no consistent patter as to why pressing the arrow or vicinity of the arrow fails to achieve activation. Worse, may activate in the opposite direction to the pending movement. This is the most dangerous situation, misleading other drivers with regard to the intended movement. It’s also not apparent to me that the opposite direction has been activated. The problem is made worse by: Lack of tactile feedback from the controls. The switches do not move perceptibly, nor is there any other feedback, such as a click. The ridge between left and right arrows doesn’t provide sufficient indication of correct or incorrect placement of the thumb on the controls. Pressing on the controls within the vicinity of the arrows may or may not result in activation at all or activate the opposite one. The position of the control varies depending on the steering wheel angle. The control may be very difficult to access, particularly where a sequence of turns in opposite directions must be executed. Specifically, it is essentially impossible to activate for the second movement while making the preceding turn. I understand that Tesla recognizes the problem and owner dissatisfaction in that it offers a retrofit with a conventional and well-tested turn signal lever for $600. Tesla must be compelled to recall these vehicles and retrofit them with a conventional turn signal lever or other effective control at no charge to owners.Read more

I am writing to request assistance regarding a recurring issue with Recall SC276. Approximately two years ago, I had the hydraulic clutch actuator (HCA) replaced by a dealership as part of this recall. 2022 GMC Canyon AT4 Crew Cab. After the vehicle is shifted into Park and the engine is shut off, the ignition key cannot be removed from the cylinder. The key is physically locked, the steering wheel will not lock, and the vehicle cannot be reliably secured. The only workaround is to restart the engine and cycle the shifter repeatedly until the interlock releases the key. Recurring. Safety implic
... ations: operator cannot reliably power the vehicle off in an emergency, cannot lock the steering column, and may be forced to leave an unattended vehicle in accessory mode — fire, electrical, and theft risk. The defect is documented in GM's own literature. GM Bulletin PI1429 and GM TSB 19-NA-206 address this exact symptom on the Canyon/Colorado platform. NHTSA-archived GM TSB MC-10113734 (March 2015), "Ignition Key Cannot Be Removed and/or Does Not Rotate to the 'Off' Position," names the 2015 GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado. The 2022 Canyon uses the same shifter and ignition-interlock architecture. Documented cause: failure of the transmission control lever microswitch that signals "Park" to the interlock solenoid. Documented fix: replace the shifter assembly. Reported to an authorized GMC dealer while still under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Dealer recorded the concern verbatim — "key stays locked in ignition when shifting to Park" — and closed it "unable to duplicate," no repair, despite the open bulletins. A second GMC dealer later refused to inspect, with the service advisor stating on the service drive that there is no fix, that they see this on Canyons and Colorados all the time, and that he had seen another such vehicle the day before. No diagnostic, no repair order. GM's Technical Assistance Center has since taken the position that the bulletins above do not apply to this vehicle, which is inconsistent with the bulletins themselves. No crash, no injury, no fire. Reporting a manufacturer-documented ignition-interlock defect GM is refusing to repair.Read more

I am filing a vehicle safety complaint regarding a 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy due to repeated safety-related mechanical failures and ongoing defects that create dangerous and unpredictable driving conditions. Since purchase in August 2024, the vehicle has experienced multiple serious issues, including steering rack problems causing sticking, resistance, abnormal noises, and inconsistent st
... eering response while driving. The vehicle has also experienced rear automatic braking/sensor malfunctions causing sudden stopping and grinding during operation, creating unsafe driving conditions and concerns about unintended braking behavior. Additional issues include transmission and gear engagement concerns, engine replacement under recall, infotainment system replacement, ongoing recall-related concerns, and excessive tire wear requiring replacement of all four tires at approximately 29,000 miles. The premature tire wear raises concerns regarding possible steering, suspension, alignment, or drivetrain defects. There are also concerns involving unusually fragile windshield and window glass, which appears to be a commonly reported issue among Hyundai Palisade owners. Despite repeated dealership visits, diagnostic evaluations, repairs, and major component replacements, the problems continue. The vehicle has spent an estimated total of approximately five months in repair facilities or undergoing service evaluations since purchase. The steering issues and rear automatic braking/sensor malfunctions are the most serious concerns because they directly impact the safe operation of the vehicle. The vehicle has demonstrated unpredictable behavior, including grinding, sticking steering response, and sudden stopping. These ongoing defects have caused significant safety concerns and loss of confidence in the reliability and safe operation of the vehicle. I believe these issues warrant further investigation due to the potential risk to drivers, passengers, and others on the roadRead more

The air conditioning system in my 2022 Genesis GV70 appears to have a recurring evaporator core failure that results in loss of cold air and unsafe driving conditions. The first failure occurred in March 2026 at approximately 60,541 miles. Prior to failure, the vehicle produced a whirring noise and inconsistent temperatures from different vents, eventually stopping the production of cold air entir
... ely. The vehicle was taken to a dealership/service center, where no visible leak was found after a dye test was conducted. The refrigerant was evacuated and recharged, temporarily restoring operation. During that visit, a service representative stated the issue could be related to the evaporator core. The same issue returned only a few months later at approximately 61,500 miles, requiring the vehicle to be brought back to the dealership for service in May 2026. At drop-off, dealership staff again indicated the evaporator core was likely the cause. This defect creates a significant safety concern in hot and humid weather conditions because the air conditioning system is unable to properly dehumidify the cabin and defog the windshield. My visibility while driving was impaired because the windshield fogged during rainy and humid conditions. Opening the windows to reduce fogging was not a practical solution due to heavy rain. No warning lights or messages appeared prior to either failure. Based on my own research, other 2022 Genesis GV70 owners appear to be reporting similar recurring air conditioning and evaporator core failures involving repeated refrigerant loss and temporary recharge repairs that do not permanently resolve the issue.Read more

This complaint documents a recurring automatic transmission failure resulting in three complete vehicle shutdowns during active operation — two at highway speed and one in an active turning lane. The vehicle was towed to the dealership, where the transmission was confirmed defective and repaired under warranty. The second failure occurred in January 2026, again on a highway with no warning. The dealership held the vehicle from January through May 2026 — four months — with no updates despite multiple owner inquiries. In April 2026 the dealership confirmed the transmission had failed again and was seeking Hyundai corporate authorization for the warranty repair. On May 21, 2026 I was told the vehicle was ready and the transmission had been fully repaired under warranty. This was false. On [XXX], within 15 minutes of leaving the dealership, the transmission failed a third time, completely shutting the vehicle down in an active turning lane with no warning.
