Bought the KIA 4/192021 from Camelback KIA - Phoenix, AZ. Drove the car home to Green Valley. Approximately 2 months later checked the tires air pressure and discovered that 3 of the tires were at 52 PSI and 1 was at 51 PSI. After checking with a neighbor who owns 2 KIA Fortes with KUMHO tires about the PSI (which is the max PSI located on the sidewall) he said he thought that was wrong. I called

After 3 failed attempts getting a call back from Camelback and 3 contacts with KIA via their website (no return contacts). I finally contacted KUMHO who emailed me that I should follow the recommendations listed on the car door - 33PSI. My concern is are the tires now dangerous after nearly 3000 miles at 51 - 52 PSI? I have been told that driving with the tires at that max PSI causes excessive wear in the center especially in the Arizona heat. Neither Camelback or KIA has ever contacted me - 6 total attempts. ST225/75/R15. This happen on our new Jayco Ridgeline Light 5th wheel. We ourmaiden voyage with only 50 miles on trailer. We drove home from General Rv to our Brighton home and on our first trip only 20 miles from on home on US 23 total blow out. If you go on Fb and search group Michigan RV camping. Here is another story of the castle rock tires. We traveled to the UP, then to Grayling over a 10
... day period. Our 4 hr trip to the UP turned into 7 1/2 when a tire on the passenger side of our 2016 Sandpiper blew, taking out the tire & the paneling above the tires. We called a tow truck, they quickly came & put on our spare. We got back in our truck & on our way, & no more than 5 mins later the 2nd tire on the passenger side blew. Called another tow (luckily found one considering it was 5 PM on a Friday night). He brought a tire & rim, & we smartly followed him back to his store to also replace our spare just in case. Fast forward 6 days & we began our journey to Grayling. 27 mins from St Ignace, a tire on our DRIVER'S side blew. Total disbelief. Managed to find correct tools after awhile & changed to our spare we had, thank God we'd replaced it! Hubs checked the 2nd tire on the driver's side, only one that hadn't blown, and after looking on the inside of the tire, found it was ready to blow also (bulges etc.). Seriously. So we drove extraordinarily slow into Saint Ignace & replaced the last tire on the trailer. After getting home, we took the camper to get all original rims put back onto the new tires etc. Hubs took in one of the blown tires, and the tire specialist, without even looking at the tire, said, "let me guess, you have Castle Rock tires that blew?" Come to find out, not only do you pay 65 grand for a cheaply built camper, manufacturers also put Chinese made tires that are poorly & weakly built with inadequate materials on it. The specialist told us he has seen dozens of blow outs from these tires on campers! Some must be done before a death happens!Read more

The second page of fine print, however, states in the next to final bullet point, that the warranty does not apply to OEM tires provided on new vehicle purchases. This HAS to be either misrepresentation by the tire manufacturer or a factory defect from the same. It has to be one or the other. There are no other options.Read more

After the inspection I drove the car back to my garage (under 25 miles round trip) and removed all 4 tire/wheel combos, loaded them into my truck and brought them back to the garage to drop them off to have them balance checked in between the mechanics other jobs ahead of me. The mechanic checked them and informed me that all 4 were balanced accurately, as a matter of fact, he did them in front of me so I could see. He recommended that I take them to a shop that has a "Road Force Balancer". I found such a shop and after they tested all 4 tires, in front of me, they indicated that the 2 front could not be balanced, that they were "out-of-round" beyond balancing. One rear combo was passable and the other was just barely out of reach, but could possibly be used. It may even out after so many miles. I asked him if the rims could be the problem and he indicated to me that the machine he uses also measures the wheel itself, and he showed me how it does it. All 4 rims measured true. I purchased 4 x Michelin Sport A/S Plus 225/50R17's in December of 2017 and have driven those set of tires 30,000 miles on a 45,000 mile tire. My car started wobbling and so I checked the tire and found severe wear in the INSIDE wall/top of both of my rear tires. I had to purchase two new tires because I felt it was not safe to drive. I have included a picture and you will see there is tread left

Tire size ST225/75/R15 On 7/16/2020 we were travelling and our passenger tire blew causing damage to the side of our trailer. We were on the Antioch Bridge and when we heard the noise we had to travel over a mile to slowly reach a safe area to pull over. When we got home we inspected the other tires and found that another tire had a huge bump on it. We replaced both tires at Les Schwab. We were t
... old that these tires were not recommended to be on a trailer. Then on 7/14/2021 we were travelling on the highway and we heard a loud noise. We pulled over and discovered that one of the other original tires on the trailer had blown now making 3/4 tires. The tire had completely come apart, again very unsafe. We decided to take that tire and the 4th and final original tire to be replaced, by Les Schwab, only to be told the 4th tire also had very unusual wire exposure and very unsafe. In neither of the incidents was there any impact that caused the blowout. Both times my family of 5 was travelling in the towing vehicle. These tires have very low mileage. We were refunded a small portion of the cost, by the tires manafacturer.Read more
