While traveling on a paved state maintained road at approximately 45-50 miles per hour, the driver side front tire on my 2017 RAM 1500 exploded. The condition of the road at the time was clear and there were no foreign objects laying in the lane of travel. Upon the tire exploding, I was immediately pulled left into the opposing lane of traffic. No injuries or crash were reported during this inci
... dent, however had my rate of speed been higher, lack of driving skills, or oncoming traffic, the results could have proved to be fatal. After finding a safe location off of the travelled roadway, I replaced the faulty tire with a spare. I observed damage to my inner fender liner as a result of the explosion. The tire has not been inspected by the police, insurance company, or the manufacturer. No warning lamps or other indicators provided notification of any problems prior to the incident. The faulty tire in question is Identified as a Goodyear Wrangler SR-A, P275/60R20. This tire is an original installation from the vehicle manufacturer and has been in service for 20,300 miles. This particular tire blew out in a straight line fashion across the tread section of the tire from sidewall to the opposite sidewall. This is the first time that I have ever reported a safety matter, however due to the unique circumstances of the failure of this tire, I feel that this matter should be investigated and this tire removed from service. I have conducted internet searches and found other consumers have experienced the exact same tire failure scenario. I will be replacing all four Gooodyear tires on my RAM truck tomorrow with a completely different manufacturer. The tire can be retained for inspection if necessary, although it will be disposed of if no such request is received.Read more

I had previously owned a 2018 Lexus RX350L that came with OEM Michelin Premier LTX tires. That car handled very well on rain, snow and ice. I eventually replaced those tires with Continental Crosscontact LX25 that were even better to the point that I woud say they were excellent on snow and ice. When I purchased my 2021 Lexus RX350 F Sport, it came with Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 422 Plus tires in 235
... / 55 R 20. The Bridgestone tires were more prone to hydroplaning but I was able to adjust driving in wet rainy situations. The Bridgestone tires however are absolutely useless in even the slightest dusting of snow. They are prone to locking the Anti-Lock Brakes at single digit speeds and are resistant to making even slight turns or steering corrections. On the morning of February 6th 2021 I experienced driving in light snow for the first time with new car equipped with the Bridgestone tires. While making a right turn, I noticed that there was a multiple car accident on the road I was entering. As I had only begun to enter the turning lane, I decided to abort that turn. I attempted to ease the car back to the left but it would not correct. At this point, I was at single digit speeds already and I pressed the brakes. The Anti-Lock brakes locked and the car began sliding forward regardless of steering input. I released the brakes but they remained locked which I assume is because the car kept them applied because it was sliding. I slid into a car at the opposite stop light. After the accident, I drove to an empty parking lot and attempted snow driving maneuvers such as stopping slowly and making gentle turns. These tires proved incapable of the slowest, gentlest of maneuvers in a light snow situation. I am attaching both the Review and Ratings from the Tire Rack website which support that these "All Season" tires should likely not see rain and are most definitely dangerous if not deadly on snow and ice.Read more

My tires were purchased new on 11/6/21 from Les Scab in Portland, OR. and are Continental ExtremeContact DWS06Plus, size 235/40ZR-19. A few weeks after purchase the TPMS came on so I had the tires checked at Les Schwab. I was told all the tire were low, likely due to weather. Within a couple weeks the TPMS came on again, I returned to Les Schwab on 12/18/21. I was told all the tires were a little

I was told again it was likely weather but that the rear drivers tire was a little lower than the rest and if the TPMS came on again to return. On the evening of 12/23/21 the TPMS came on again. I took my car to Les Schwab again and about 11am and was told they could fill the tires, but they could try to find and fix the problem because they would close at 1pm and they did not have time but to bring it back on Monday. Despite my pleas, they refused. I tried calling the Regional Manager at his store but every time I called someone answered and either hung up or put the call on hold but did not answer. On 12/25/21 at about 6:50pm while driving about 55 mph on the I-5 freeway in Portland, OR., I was in the center lane and heard a loud pop. My stirring wheel pulled right and as I held tight, I heard another loud, dull, grinding noise from the front passenger side of the car. I slowed, turned on my hazard lights and waited for traffic to stop so I could pull to the side of the freeway. I looked and saw that the front passenger side tire tread had completely detached from the sidewall. I then called to have to car towed back to my home.Read more

I slowed, turned on my hazard lights and waited for traffic to stop so I could pull to the side of the freeway. I looked and saw that the front passenger side tire tread had completely detached from the sidewall. I then called to have to car towed back to my home.Read more

Since tires installed on 9/2021, I have been having a worsening vibration noise. I took it to the installer who checked the balance of the wheels and tires and said there were no issues.
