Received a low pressure warning and got off the freeway at the next exit, less than 1/2 mile. Unable to stop on freeway. Before even changing lanes the tire blew out all pressure, total failure. Within 15 seconds of low pressure warning. Stopped immediately after exiting freeway and observed the tire was shredded (see pictures).

It had less than 200 miles on it. 7 months later there is a bubble in the sidewall of the front driver side tire. There is less than 9,000 miles on these tires. The tires have not “failed,” but they are dry rotting on both the sidewalls and inside the tread. These came as the OE tires, size is 235/65 R18. This is a daily driven car with almost 30,000 miles on the odometer. There is no reason the tires should be dry rotting. While driving on the highway, without warning the tire tread separated from the rim causing danger to myself. Luckily I was able to pull to the side of the highway to await assistance. State police was called and the car was eventually towed to the dealership. The entire tire literally separated from the rim. Tire size: 235 /60 R 18.

On 4/17/2025, we purchased 4 BRIDGESTONE tires at Discount Tire Company. The front two tires are model 225 /40 R18 88Y SL BSW BM RF and the rear two tires are model 245 /35 R18 92Y XL BSW BM RF. On or before 10/21/2025, we noticed two bulges in the rear tire and had to have it replaced. Not sure of the cause. This was the second Bridgestone Potenza tire since April 2025 that had to be replaced.

exactly one year after purchase and with approximately 18,000 miles on the vehicle — the original factory-installed front right tire catastrophically failed while I was driving under normal conditions. The tire blew out suddenly with complete sidewall separation, causing loss of vehicle control. There was no prior tire pressure warning before the failure occurred. Tire size: 225 /40R18 88V
